All right, so apparently I have the specs to play games on my laptop, but it doesn't want to cooperate with me. At least, not as far as Vindictus is concerned, as I just tried that out to see if I could do anything. You see, my laptop has a profound propensity for getting all worked up and shutting itself off. I've had it for a little over a year, and I don't know if the problem is dust or if it just hates me and wants to see to it that all I do is programming homework ad nauseum.
It's a Toshiba, of the "Satellite" series, though I don't know why they call it that. It's not as if the lousy thing can ever be away from an AC plug for more than an hour. Overheating issues aside, I'd say it's pretty fast. I have a fan underneath it, which seems to help somewhat.
So, does it seem like I'm dealing with a fixable issue, or is Toshiba just jealous because it can't be Nintendo?
