sentinel in 007 nightfire. one shot kill that you could fire from the opposite side of the map

LOL I was actually just playing this with my friend the other day. We always do random weapon set and agree that that if the sentinel is on the map, it is off limits unless you use unguided mode. Otherwise the first person to get it can easily go the entire game without dying.

I usually just grabbed it and then hid inside of the skyrail, no one can touch you and while you bring rc death from above

I hate them so much.

All people do is lob all their grenades at a place they think an enemy is and get easy kills, no skill in it and if like on BF2 you have a support kit that's unlimited nades.

Not to sound like an ass... but that's kinda what they're for. It's not like grenades are a magical video game-only technology, either.

Wouldn't it take skill to throw a grenade in a place where you know an enemy will be when the grenade explodes?
On topic, the M60 in Bad Company 2 is overpowered. It's around a 4-bullet kill, it has very little recoil, and if you put a scope on it, it almost becomes a sniper rifle.

Badly worded to be fair, what I mean is using BF2 as an example once again players can and do use grenades exclusively because it's a really easy way of getting kills same with plenty of other games.

Because of their blast radius they rarely require aiming and when playing a game (Im looking at you MW2) some people will throw their grenades across a map into someone elses spawn area and score a kill or two more times than not.

It's not overpowered at all. The point of AWP is one shot kill. And because of it's power it's expensive, it's heavy and slow and you can't move if you wanna hit someone. It's not an easy task to master this weapon. Maybe you just suck at Counter Strike

An overpowered weapon is UMP45 in Modern Warfare 2. It has no flaws. Most SMG's are overpowered but this one takes the crown.

Having played CS:S for years now, I can say that the AWP is by far the easiest gun for me to get multiple successive kills. I intentionally don't buy it (but will pick it up if it's situationally useful) because back when I was an admin, I could have killed our server pretty quickly just by whoring that thing up.

There is a technique to it, sure. But it's easier to pick up what it takes to do well with the AWP than say the Scout. The scout forgives many mistakes, but it's not the 1-hit kill machine that is the awp.

I don't think it's over powered though. I think it's aptly powered. It is, in fact, a 50. cal sniper rifle. That's like, anti vehicle I believe. One shot SHOULD do you in. It's expensive as hell too, which I think is appropriate. It could be more expensive, if you ask me. With guns like the machine gun having been priced far higher than it's effectivness dictates, the awp is a good deal.

Still though, I can see why the person you quoted thinks the awp is over powered. Face off against someone like me that knows how to get rapid successive kills with it, and you won't have time to squeeze off more than a few shots, meaning your aim has to be as good if not better than mine to kill me right away before I can get MY shot off killing whomever. The AK can do it, the scout can do it, but most other guns can't going into medium range. Meaning it can be a very frustrating weapon to be killed by. BANG! one hit anywhere above the knees, and it's good night, sweetie. Rage quit now, or forever hold your peace.

If someone knos how to use AWP properly, sure you can say it's overpowered, but actually you're just facing a skilled player. That's like saying AK-47 is overpowered because I rarely miss the head with it and I play fast and furious with it. Most advanced AWP users don't stand a chance when I use an AK. CS 1.6 is all about the skill.

The Maliwan Hellfire

This SMG is argueably the best weapon in borderlands, next to the Double Anarchy school of guns.

Not only does it have high direct damage and decent clip size for an SMG, but its special effect is ungodly, you see, when you're shot with a hellfire, a strange thing occurs, you burst into flames that can incinerate you where you stand, and when properly specced, a Siren character (They specialize in these sorts of weapons) can kill just about anything with 2 shots, allowing the fire to kill the enemy for them.

This gun can turn the hardest parts of a reasonably difficult game, into cakewalks of the nth degree.

WRONG! lol. Sorry. My Hunter uses a Desert anaconda that does 363 X7 damage and with the 40% chance to do 2 bullets which equals 363 X14 plus if its a critical it does so much damage. And it negates shields. I can kill crawmerax in like 20 or so shots if the 40% kicks in enough. ALSO!!!! He has a Bloody Unforgiven that does 1306 200% crits so a X2 head shot can kill just about anything lol. I also have an Anarchy that Does 174 lol. Sorry. I am a borderlands machine lol.

Hammer Pally lol. the 50 Cal in MAG. If you are wearing light armor without 120 health they can 1 hit you. And with the new skill tree and a second tier rifle you can't get health upgrades with the other skills that a stealth sniper should get.

That isnt how the 40% bonus works, with masher weapons, it already shoots 7 bullets, so you're only making it fire 8 bullets, not 14, this is equally true with shotguns, yes masher weapons are insanely powerful, but they dont allow you to run and gun, with your enemies falling over dead behind you as you continue your slaughter.

Try using a merc siren with a nicely tuned anarchy against crawmerax, he's even more of a joke than with your little revolver.

Anywho the small chainsaws in dead rising 1 (with the durability enhancements) however this is not a bad thing. It gives you a back up weapon if you are surrounded by zombies while having fun.

I believe it was the RCP90, which I think was just a way to put the FN P90 in the game without a license. I think all of the guns in Goldeneye had names that were just slightly off.
