I'm seconding tehb0ll0x opinion. I agree that the Beatles has some staying power, but I just don't like them enough to worship them. Elvis too. He's called the "King of Rock and roll" yet I think he's been outdone countless times afterward.
No one should listen to me though, I don't give a rat's ass about music.
You know what is overrated? NES games. Games that were designed to be hard so you could spend more time playing them and less time beating them. I've seen "top bestest system evar" countdown lists, and NES has made it to the top several times. Fuck'em. Those are only for the hard core and not fun unless you like playing the same beginning levels repeatedly.
EDIT: I should note that I grew up in the NES era, and I wanted to marry a girl I knew in kindergarten because she had a NES. I'm not some little 13 year-old "gamer" who thinks that if it isn't 3D, it's not a game.
