I don't see the point of having a browser on a console, I bought the damn thing to play games not surf the web. If I want to do that I'll turn my desk chair to the computer and do so.

Microsoft is a bunch of moneygrubbing cocks? never!

In other news, sky is blue, the sun will rise in the morning, and I'm still confused as to why anyone would buy an Xbox when you almost have to pay MS to turn it on.

No! We will be owned by either Disney, Wal-Mart or Oprah.

Kill the whores.

It's pretty obvious that Microsoft is all about making money. But really it there any big company out there thats not interested in *kachting*? It's just that Microsoft is clear about that, not like Apple with the redesign&reinvent bullshit.

the company being "all about making money."
Wow. I would have never guessed.

I guess that's why they're the specialists in this field and I'm just a lowly forum goer.

Presumably Playstation added browsing on their console because they love kittens so darn much.

If accurate, it's ironic how close to Apple's attitudes this is.

I also get a bit of a Ted Turner vibe from it as well.

Whoa so he came to the conclusion that a huge corporate entity that rakes in billions of dollars a year is "all about making money". STOP THE PRESSES GUYS!!! THIS PACHTER GUY IS ON TO SOMETHING BIG!

How exactly do these guys get a job telling people the obvious? I need to learn how to apply ASAP.

Wow, it's almost like it's obvious, unnecessary commentary about something pretty much everyone already knew.

Everyone wants to control the internet. Every company wants to harness it for money, every government wants to use it for their own ends.

The only thing shocking about this is the fact that people seem to honestly be surprised about it.

That said, MS tried already. Internet Explorer and all. Didn't work out so well for them now, did it?

I don't really care, it's like giving the Xbox 360 a calculator feature, so many things already have it that you don't need your 360 to have it.

I can get a browser on my Itouch, my cell phone, my desktop, my laptop, my DSi, why would I want one cluttering up my 360?

I thought the same thing until I used the browser on my PS3.

I found that government comment quite amusing as the internet was created by the government for the army. Then we were all hey I bet the general public would love this.
