Paranoia test

I am not paranoid. I got over that some time ago. Like 5ish? lol.
But i do know someone that is VERY paranoid. You know, that person that is afraid of every "what if?" that they can think of.

I wish something would go bump in the night. I wait for that night.......

But yeah, if I have something like a huge window behind me, I have to look. Also, mirrors. Before I look into one, I always prepare for a BOO moment. Then one time it actually happened when I was brushing my teeth. I looked up, and there was dad. Not even trying to scare me even. Kinda punched him by accident. Watching sharks on tv also gets me. I have to keep my feet off the floor at all costs.

I still have yet to check behind me. I will turn and on occasion however it is not a paranoia thing as far as I am concerned.

Bookshelves with gargoyles on them behind be. They'll either protect me from danger or rip out my kidneys and show them to my dying eyes. Can't really do anything about either situation so no need for me to be paranoid about it.

It's when you turn around not expecting anything and you DO get something that inspires more paranoia.

I can be paranoid under certain circumstances. For instance, whenever I'm alone at home, it seems like I start hearing every little sound in the house and sometimes I end up going around the place making sure the doors are locked and that nobody got in.

Regarding the whole "someone's gonna get me" mindset, I don't really feel it right now. I do feel it though, when I have watched something that scared me. (A horror movie or game, Nightmare Fuel characters, creatures and situations, etc.) At those moments I always feel like I'm being followed or something. I leave my home; it is following me. I enter my car; I half expect something to be sitting at the back seats.

I'm on the second floor of a dorm loaded with people, both of my roommates are on their laptops behind me (one facing the window), and even though my window is behind me, its obscured by trees, the curtain is down, and its pretty much inaccessible to baddies. All in all, I feel pretty safe.

I absolutely hate hearing people outside in my street (it's a cul-de-sac as well, so no one but the elderly residents should be around here).

Living in Yorkshire also means that everyone sounds violent, so I always get ready for the inevitable scaling of my wall into my room, and silently curse my mother for moving my desk (which originally could be moved easily so that it blocked my door, and became an impenetrable fortress-desk) to a shitty and strategically unsound position.

I check for snipers every time I leave my house.
