I thankfully bought an American Ps1 back when they came out so i just imported all of my games and i got to play Parasite eve 1 and 2 when they first got released, still love them to this day, i even have them on my psp already so when i am somewhere i don't want to be i can just play through them again.

EDIT: forgot to say that it would be nice if they brought both games out on the psn store for Australians but most likely we will only get 2 as 1 was never released in PAL if anyone outside Japan gets them at all that is .

I've never even heard of these games, but this sounds pretty cool. I'm glad that older games are getting some love.

They're definitely worth checking-out. The Parasite Eve games (especially the first one) were hidden gems in the landslide that was the PS-X library.

I agree with you that Parasite Eve isn't good. It's AWESOME and you need to play it again. With your eyes taped open and taking in nutrients and caffeine intravenously.

Naw, I beat it 3 times when I owned it, twice getting the 300 junk pieces to make the secret gun, and decided "Yeah, gay" and sold it for $5 to Gamestop back when they still sold PS1 games.

Square released so many better games in 1998, Parasite Eve is utter crap when stacked against them. Final Fantasy Tactics, Brave Fencer Musashi, Bushido Blade 2, Xenogears. Final Fantasy 5, too.

Uh... you beat it three times... made the secret gun twice... THEN decided it wasn't good? Dude, were you just playing through the game bitching to yourself the whole time? I get different strokes for different folks, but it sounds like you were intentionally making yourself suffer for no good reason. Though I'll grant you, Final Fantasy Tactics is better, but then, I think it's THE best thing Square ever did. Ever.
