It's never happened to me, but I swear to God that I would run away from home if my mom did that. Not because of what she sold, but the fact that she sold something of mine without consulting me about it. The answer would be "no, I refuse to sell my game console", anyway. Morally, it's a terrible thing to do. While she may be my parent, that is, pardon the language, a dick move. A really bad one. While it's not legally considered such, it's pretty much the same thing as stealing something then pawning it of for quick cash.
The fact of the matter is that she took your belongings without your permission and sold them. She stole from you items which are very important to you and is making you go to hell and back to reacquire them. You can't have her arrested for it, but it was a terrible thing for her to do. If she didn't know that they were important, I would advise making it very, very evident that they are important. I also suggest that you track down the guy whom she sold them to, apologize to them and explain that it was a mistake, and make your mom buy them back.
