Ok guys, it's my 18th in 2 weeks and guess what, my friends don't like my music! I need some party music, preferably with a good beat. Any recommendations would be appreciated but no screamo or heavy metal thanks.

I believe this song is an obligatory track at this point:

Do you want the cheesy dance music that all DJs are obligated to own? Like Le Bouche?

Or something made in the last 10 years?

I think this might be a good song for a party depending on the crowd in question:

Don't play
#1: It's not.
#2: Nobody wants to party with Christian Bale.

Deadmau5?
He has some great songs.

The second one takes too long to pick up, but I enjoy listening to it.

Otherwise, find a pop/hip-hop channel on the radio, and you should be good. This is what the majority of kids at my high school listen to.

Oh...you guys are going to hate me...

OT: I'm not good for party music. Most of my listenings aren't well suited for the dancings that you whipper-snappers seem to be so good at.

Allright, people generally want to hear stuff they know. It's easier to get into music at a party if you know the song. I usually play a good bit of Kanye West ("Stronger", "All of the Lights", people still like "Gold Digger" too). But in case they have open minds, these can work (or you can mix them in with the better known stuff).

Parties I've been to where they've played old school hip hop have been really chill

This is why I'm asking for recommendations.

Alright then, for the sake of being helpful, I'll go with my best shot.

Kinda an old song but I think it would work. :)

Edit: Erm...original was not what I was trying to post. This is better.
