I would reccomend deadmau5 and the Bloody Beetroots

Allright, people generally want to hear stuff they know. It's easier to get into music at a party if you know the song. I usually play a good bit of Kanye West ("Stronger", "All of the Lights", people still like "Gold Digger" too). But in case they have open minds, these can work (or you can mix them in with the better known stuff).

Spoiler: Broken Bells

I'm not sure that would be good for parties, although I really like Broken Bells.
