Still not enough to get me to subscribe. I just don't want to pay monthly fees anymore. I wonder how many subscribers they will lose when Guild Wars 2 is released.....

In terms of hard drive space, maybe it is the biggest update.

In terms of actually adding new and interesting content to the game, it's pretty lacking.

Biggest ever???

Hahaha Bioware is so full of crap.

Even LOTRO used to put out free expansions that had far more features, new zones, quests, and endgame content then these guys.

Bioware needs to learn how to not over hype everything. Personally the update got me to resub because I wanted to check out the legacy system and have a look around. But this hardly qualifies as best update ever. It looks to be a solid update not the next best thing since sliced bread.

Dont believe the hype. You get one flashpoint, one warzone and 4 raid bosses. Rest of it is all fluff that might entertain for a week.

"biggest ever" from the same people who brought you "not just A, B or C"...

I'll believe it when I see it.

Someone has clearly never heard of EVE Online.
This was my thought exactly. Between incarna and trinity (to name the biggest that immediately occur), that game probably holds this claim 5 times over. xD

Meh. This is all very cool but should have been released in March as originally planned. They didn't give an official release date but said it was planned for March back in January. It's taken way too long, too many people have unsubscribed in the meantime. Which is a shame because the game has great potential.

Now the hard times start for the game, I'm certainly intent on playing more.
I plot to resubscribe when 1.2 rolls out, personally, as the burden of my studies shouldn't be as heavy as they were when I felt forced to cancel.

I've quite looked forward to the Legacy system kicking in. Now I just want to hear more on the additional romance options we've been promised, since I have strange priorities like that.

I feel like this could better expressed in a canned copyrighted way:

Comic book guy: "Biggest... Update... Ever!"

Donald "Multiple Bankruptcies" Trump: "This update is going to be huge..."

Okay, I'm out of material. Anyone got any more?
"That's no moon - that's an update!"

Anyway, I'm excited for 1.2 - I'm interested to try out the legacy system and put all those legacy levels I've earned to use.

They basically tell you to go sit on your ass in the fleet and wait for something to do
Yeh, when I first saw the interlude says 'Now yourname is most needed at Vaiken spacedock' I thought 'soooo... they're basically telling me to just afk on the fleet....ok then...'

OT: The game has no longevity whatsoever and this patch doesn't add any. It took waaaaaaaaaaay to long to make this patch. They are just so unbelievably slow at everything. They say they have a special team that works on performance improvements but this 'team' must be 2 guys who only work 1 day a week cos the only thing they have done in the entire 4 months is add a very low shader setting. Thats it, 1 thing in 4 months. They say server transfers is their #1 priority and they are taking ages at that too. What they need is the slave driver manager from Team Bondi in charge to force them to actually do some work, cos the only way they can possibly be this slow is if they spend half the work day playing fruit ninja.

Speaking of slow things, why does it take like 2 weeks for a new avatar to actually work these days?

Its mostly PvP stuff, not much enthusiasm from the non-pvp'ers. Personally, my attention is drawn to how many extra character slots we will be getting. Eight at launch, whats up with that?

I can't see how they can call the update "free" when players are paying $15 a month to play. Constant updates and new content is a must, not a charity.
Because if it was from Blizzard they would have called it an expansion and charged $39.95 for it on top of the 15 bucks a month they suck from your wallet

Ah still doesn't make me wanna resub.

Tired of big companies jerking people around for more money by making em wait for ages for new patches. Can't speak for the quality as I quit the game some time ago, but Trion Worlds have put out more content in a year than Blizzard have in more than two and that's a company less than a quarter their size! So one would think with the staff and money of a large company like Bioware or Blizzard they could deliver lots of quality content in (relatively) short amounts of time, hell if they did I'd probably still be subbed to wow!
Iv been saying that for years. Its like how CCP claims that they will release ships from the design contest then they are like 5 years backlogged on it. Dc universe promised monthly updates and events. If you are paying for expansion of content but not getting it you should get a refund.

Seeing how patch updates for subscription games is "free", I guess that's FAR from being the biggest "free" game update ever.

Taking that definition, WoW Cataclysm was by far the biggest free update ever.

Things not coming into the supposed "this'll fix everything" patch

Multiple Talent Spec options
LFG Channel or better yet a severwide LFG system
Sever consolidation(Hopped on tonight Entire sea of Green servers reading "Light" population)
Nothing about Flashpoints at level 50 dropping worthless items for bossrewards nor did I see anything about bug fixes to the various bugged encounters(I am guessing they just forgot to include that. I hope)

Thankfully we get Chiss Force users, because hey who cares about the lore, a race who can't use the Force can now use it cus ..Bioware felt like it.

At least we got that. *sigh* I don't see myself playing this game once my time runs out. It's so, sad to see such potential and awesome wasted.
