Maybe they noticed you were all using the 'demo' excuse for pirating games and thought they might as well not release one? It's just a bloody demo, get over it.
or maybe when everyone does that decides its crap they'll claim it was piracys fault.

The unwillingness to release a demo on the PC is stupid,if the PC crowd feels like your treating them like second class citizens they will pirate, if you do something for consoles it should be done for PC too(probably don't want us to know theres no graphics adjusting :p

I can Download the PS3 demo and then buy the game for my PC if that's the case (Just hope that I can run it). Still a shame that the demo might not come out on the PC, although they didn't confirm that it WOULDN'T so there's always that bit of hope there.
Can't wait to play the game!

And once again, the PC gaming crowds sense of entitlement is kicking right in. Seriously, you didn't hear all the console gamers up in arms when the PC got that MoH beta.
FPS games are better played on PCs. It is to be expected that any and all FPS games should be released on PCs.
It is. Just no demo at this point.

Which is very silly, because PC Gamers can use those demos a lot more than consoles, as they're often used for, you know, MAKING SURE THE GAME WORKS.

Eck. Talk about missing the point.

Well I can honestly say that if they say , left out the PS 3 console I wouldnt be pointing at the Sony players and laughing at them.

I would be curious as why are they picking on that specific system, what makes them so less than the rest.

This isnt a Console v PC , guys... its a gamer vs developer ( or publisher , lets be fair EA didnt let Visceral PC demo Dead Space 2 or the newest Need for Speed either ) who think they are too good to bother treating gamers like customers, more like mobile wallets with a internet connection.

Just wait till casual gaming takes over gaming, and EA / Activision and co switch over to making farmville clones, and leaves the rest ... to scrape the barrel.

The reason is that this is NOT an isolated incident, by a long shot. There are many many console exclusives for each one on the pc. And when games span the platforms, the pc games are often released later, horribly ported, or just not nearly as advertised. Not to mention a good pc is a MUCH bigger investment than a console, if you spend that much on something, you sort of expect a decent. I have been both a console and pc gamer, Every bit of extra cash, time and skill gets diverted to a pc, same is not true of a console.

My 2 cents done.

Every PC game has a demo, its called Bit-torrent.
...which is illegal in most countries (not Bit-Torrent, but what you want to do with it).

Excuse me for not wanting to be a law-breaking counterproductive asshole.

PC, above anything, should get demos. On PC, when you buy a game, you are stuck with it with all the DRM and cd keys and shit. On consoles, you can rent games, sell them back, borrow them from a friend, and they get demos of at least half the games out there. PC rarely gets a demo or anything...

For a Master Race, they're quite a whiny bunch. You guys don't even have to pay for the games you play, what's the problem here? Download it, try it.
Pulling the 'All pc gamers download their games illegally' card, how fucking original.

I'd get mad, but I'm white enough to own all of the current gen consoles as well as my gaming PC. Demo the console version, buy the pc version. My plan is flawless.

To the PC only guys: Just get a console already. There's some really good shit over on the other side AND all of a sudden you get to play all those demos.

While all of that is true, i think console gamers might make less posts advising pc gamers to basically "suck it up" if a large amount of pc gamers weren't going on about their superiority- and occasionally about how bad consoles, console games, and console gamers are- while still complaining about all the things you mentioned(which they have a right to complain about). Never got how you can complain about consoles and insult console gamers...but still own one or more.

I mean all fps should be on pc because they are better on pc? Since when? I know mouses are more accurate but i can't lay in bed with a mouse and keyboard...controllers are just more comfortable. If i'm trying to unwind controllers just seem more suitable, its more about preference. I have no idea where the sense of entitlement came from, but thats all irrelevant. Pc should get a demo to see if it runs on their systems, end of story.

Unless it ends up as one of those games where the PC version is a shitty port. That would be a substantial flaw, IMO.

Not interested in console gaming (for several reasons including controllers cramping up my hands in an hour or so) so shelling out cash for a console and a tv would be a waste.

yeeeeaahh because we are all white enough to be able to afford consoles...anyway this dosn't acctualyl bother me...since its just a demo, I didn't realise demos were such a big deal

Extremely relative, not to mention that its irrelevant in deciding which platform to release a demo on.

Eh, and here I wanted to try this game out without going through a good ol' spot of law breaking.

C'est la vie.
