To the PC gamers here, Why are you here. I'm not saying 'GTFO' or anything I was just wondering why if you are on your PC and your a gamer, why arent you playing games? They're a hell of a lot better than internet forums.

I'm on here coz I have nothing to do and I dont have a gaming PC (cant afford one).

You could of done this a bit more subtly then practically telling them to GTFO.
I think you're missing the whole point of the Escapist entirely.
The Escapist allows people to air their views and read up on some interesting facts also.
I know that when i come on here i like to look at all the popular topics and if i like the look of one of them i will post, otherwise i'll just read and learn.
However you have proved to a lot of us that you are pretty special and to quote Yahtzee i mean the type of "I'm sorry my child has eaten you shoes" special.

Next time you write up a topic think of something that:
1. Doesn't insult people
2. Doesn't make a flame war
3. Doesn't put yourself in a negative light
4. Doesn't generalize
and 5. Doesn't make me post.

P.s. There are easier ways to get the badge for a good topic by the way...

Then why is your question directed at "PC gamers" specifically, instead of all the people on the forum?

Because PC gamers are already on their PC's. Console gamers aren't. I'm assuming most PC gamers that would call themselves "gamers" would have their PC's for thier gaming capabilties.

Exactly, PC gamers are on their PCs by default, so it's only a minor move to Alt-Tab out of a game and post on a forum. On the other hand, console gamers would have to get off their consoles and move to a different platform altogether, wouldn't they? So by your own assumptions it would be a better question to ask the console gamers.
