Neither system is superior. You cannot compare the two systems. The PC is the gaming enthusiasts platform while the consoles are the casual gamer's platform. You'd be a fool to compare the two. It's like asking which car is better, a Mustang or a Bugatti veyron? They're worlds apart.
Couldn't agree more. The best time to buy/build a PC is shortly after the consoles come out. I'm waiting until the next gen consoles and latest Direct x whatever comes out until I get anther gaming PC rig.synobal said:I can't say if an xbox or PC is better. But I can tell you my experience about how the console market greatly effects the PC market. I built my current PC for about 500 bucks a couple years after the Xbox 360 came out.
Since we have had such a long console generation this time around developers are developing to the limits of the 360. So just about anything that you play these days you can play just fine on a PC so long as you built it after the 360 came out and you have a gaming video card in it and not like an integrated card or something terrible like that.
I will likely buy a new computer after the next Xbox comes out, when ever that is and what ever that is.
Typically what I notice is when ever a new generation comes out, everything is about the consoles and everyone says 'ohhh PC gaming is dying blah blah blah' and then towards the end of the console generation PC has 'risen' again and everyone is talking about how great it is.
