Taumel - 17/30 Ap, 2mp - The Lucent Reef

As the two monsters were carried away in bubbles the decorated Krake underlined the first description on the board and then wrote a second. "I have an extraordinarily large reward for anyone that can hunt down those two things and make them pay for my bar"

The Dead Mother had received a strange report following some kind of battle that she had missed. The younger in the Black Hand had been a bit riled up though. It was not every day that they claimed to witness a colossus being carried off by their spirit guide.

The report mentioned a bounty on a member of the Ghost Division. Obviously, she had to intervene as it had been set in her city. Besides, she had an agreement with The Banshee now. It would never be official, but her people were as much under the protection of the Black Hand as the rest.

An old deaf fey with long grey whiskers and a walking stick showed up at the bar not long after the battle had taken place. She moved slowly, but was followed by four younger Fey that all wore black and had painted their faces black.

"We're the law around here, dear." One of the younger fey interpreted after the Dead Mother had said it with sign language. "You wouldn't know, and by the time you do you've crossed the line."

Everyone in the bar was uneasy, most held still, the very few decorated who had heard of something like this beofore looked properly terrified. The sailors eyed the exit the krake at the bar raised her hands, things were more serious than she thought

"Look we are a new organisation, we fully intend to operate with the law, in any way possible." She adds indicating the destruction "we have nothing to do with them"

One of the four went looking for the supposed bounty board, and found it. She picked it up and showed it to the Dead Mother, who responded with a simple gesture when she had seen the name on the list.

The Dead Mother placed both of her paws on her walking stick, while the four swiftly charged into the battle in front of them. They knew how to fight swiftly and strike with such precision that there wasn't really a fight worth mentioning before everyone else had been knocked out.

It was a bit more difficult transporting these many through the area without being spotted, but they managed by calling in assistance from more black hand members. The two groups were separated once they were in the safety of the closest building owned by the black hand. Anyone who had been a simple bystander was given a fast death.

The ones who had been wearing all the trinkets and run the bar was kept alive a while longer. The krake in particular was lead into a dark room and slapped until she awakened. The Dead Mother sat at the other side of a table. She shook her head at her, like a disapproving parent catching a child in the act.

The owner of the philosopher's virtue yelled out in pain fear and confusion as she awoke.
"where am I! what's going on?!"

"You're in my care now." A voice came from behind the Krake, after the Dead Mother had made a few fast gestures. "You shouldn't have tried to start trouble by adding our friends onto a bounty list. Now look how many had to die because of you."

The prisoner struggled to get a veiw of her captor "I don't understand. We didn't know the animals were under your protection!"

The bounty list was placed in front of the prisoner on the table. The Dead Mother pointed at the name of the Ghost Division member on the list. She made a few more gestures after that."The reef's interest has always been under our protection, when you pay others to kill members of that society you become an enemy, even if you consider them animals. Wouldn't you agree? I thought krakes were supposed to be intelligent."

"Thats not our list! we hunt drakes and sea beasts!" she indicates the name on the list "I didn't list any people" the confusion and fear rising in her voice "I didn't want any of these people dead"

The Dead Mother slammed her walking stick on the table, indicating that she would use it to hit her with next time. She gestured again.

"This is the list we found in your bar. It's the same list that does mention drakes. It's the only list we found."

She put her walking stick against the throat of the krake, pushing her head backwards.

"Your transgression has already caused the death of everyone else in the bar." The voice came from behind the krake. "Why don't you confess to your crime and make your death easy?"

"I never wrote that name! I know that pirates are protected on the reef. it must have been one of the new arrivals, they don't know how things work" the krake was shaking beneath the walking stick, tears were pooling against the wood "please just let me go, I promise I'll never let it happen again"

She removed the walking stick, and shook her head.

"That's unfortunate. We don't let anyone leave us alive." The voice said.

The Dead Mother had noted the krake's callous disregard for anyone else's life but her own though. It was normal that they begged and pleaded, usually they did it for everyone if they were a group. With Taumel around, she had another idea for a favour she wanted to ask of their spirit guide.

The Dead Mother leaned forward with a faint hint of a smile on her face. She made her gestures.

"Tell me, do you really not care for anyone of the others we captured? Some of them were your own. Would you buy your own life with such a heavy price?"

There was no room for lies or morals in this place, honestly and terrifiedly "yes, yes, I would, not without regret. I care for the others but they would sell me just as easily as I would sell them. the self comes first, then the secrets, then the world. that is how it has always been for us. if this is an offer I accept. if this is to break them it is unnecessary"

She raised an eyebrow, but nodded somewhat approvingly. The lack of loyalty would need to be beaten into her, one way or the other, but her indifference to the deaths of those she didn't know was a start.

The Dead Mother got up from the table, gestured to the figure behind the krake and left the room. The figure behind her came closer.

"It will be the interests of the reef above anything else from now on for you. Our secret is second." The figure grabbed her head and slammed it against the table. "Your supposed self is worthless."

--------

Taumel - 13/30 Ap, 2mp - The Lucent Reef

Taumel was convinced the following week that it would be in everyone's best interest if the Black Hand was granted the favour that the Dead Mother asked for. It would allow them to remain secret and hidden, assuring loyalty in any recruits, while letting them evolve and grow like they had been unable too when they had to rely on the trustworthiness of an individual.

The decorated krakes they had captured were kept locked up until they could swear the oath they needed to swear. Everyone else was disposed of, as they had no need for them. The Dead Mother made just another sacrifice for her order in getting this item, and cut off her own left hand for Taumel to enchant.

<spoiler=Action>Dc11, Create an Epic Mortal Item.
+4 Psionics, +2 Knowledge, +2 Evolution, +2 Secrets.

<spoiler=The Black Hand> It's a black gem, the size and shape of a severed Fey hand.

Anyone who holds it while swearing allegiance to the order of the Black Hand becomes bound for life by the oath. They can't ever utter a word about the order to an outsider, and should they be forced through magic or other means they would die instantly.

It gives different benefits to those who swear the oath depending on what race they are. It gives them the same drawbacks though.

- A loss of self and individuality that may gnaw at some individuals until they go mad.
- They can't leave the order alive. The order will always be able to find them.
- They can't speak to outsiders about the order, and when forced too they die.
- They can feel emotions, but aren't allowed to act on them for their own selves.
- All their belongings and wealth go to the order.
- It's rare for anyone to live a long life in the order. The majority dies from trying to break the constrains, going mad or simply getting killed.

Krakes.
They gain the ability to brainwash any mortal, so that they in turn do what they are told and reveal any information willingly.

Feyeath.
They regain the lost abilities of the original members of the order, such as stealth and increased agility.

Nirn
They become very charismatic, appealing to both the ears and the eyes of others.

Kaish
They gain the ability to go berserk. Any wounds they take while berserk are ignored entirely by the brain, and they heal faster.

Mutari.
They improve their racial ability to detect deceit to such a degree that they can accurately detect lies.

(Haven't thought of the other races yet)

Leaders.
They gain an affinity for finding the right members and for discovering mental illnesses early within the order.

Arora - 12/30 AP, 2 MP - Ajax's Hut, 212

Another day had passed and Ajax found himself back in the old hut at the Ebonbark Bay. While much of the Bay and Mu Lands had changed beyond the demigod's memory the old hut had not changed much. There were the odd improvements made to the hut - a small storeroom here and the guestroom there - but it was rare for visitors to come by. It was also rare for Ajax to see the old home with the constant travel to keep up with the Coven of Felissa's good work. It was no longer that small group of sons and daughters but an entity on its own, and yet the Fey could not turn away.

The demigod shook his head to chuck those thought out and entered the old hut. There was still that chair and self of books that were wearied by time and use; the books contained logs of Ajax's more wilder days after all the excitement from two centuries ago, which he would turn to for anything he thought he missed. The fey thought that maybe he should get back in the habit of writing journals again - if only to find some peace of mind in the change.
With a pipeful of Yshtar leaves and watermint to smoke, Ajax sat in that old chair toking away the time as he settled his thoughts. 'Maybe a voyage back home could do some good...'
A knock sounded at the door, putting an abrupt end to his musings. The Fey got up from his chair and went to the door. Company was unexpected but welcome.
Though, as Ajax found upon opening the door, it was also somewhat surreal. For he had not laid eyes upon the woman standing on his porch for over two hundred years.
"Hello stranger." Arora greeted playfully.
He blinked a few times and felt his heart skip. The first instinct was to close the door, but the Fey pummeled down that urge.
"Is that... Is that really you?"
"Your senses do not lie. Once more I walk amongst the living."
"Arora... What brings you here?"
"I've been trying to catch up with the needs of all of my friends. You must understand, my absence these past two hundred years was not at all intended! It feels like only earlier this week we were standing together atop Maranga'nawe... Strange, is it not?"
His mind tumbled and ran even as his eyes refused to leave Arora's face, not wanting them to roam anywhere else. Ajax really had nothing to really say to the goddess' reminiscence, but he could see something else lingering in her. Loneliness?
He could nod at the sentiments though. Times like these made him relish anything that was from his time before Silverholt, as... uncomfortable the thoughts that would be dredged up from this meeting were.
"Uh, please come in. It has been a long time." said Ajax. The hut was built for two people - maybe four in a pinch - though nobody but Ajax had dwelled in it for that long. He kept his thoughts to the present for things that happened lately.
"I've been trying to keep myself busy since your absence, though it's been hard. It felt like everything I knew had changed since... that one festival when I last saw you."
Arora took a seat, crossing her legs neatly as she listened to the ancient Feyeath.
"I have heard about your exploits these past years; you seem to have become quite the philanthropist! The Coven you established is an especially admirable undertaking."
"It certainly is. I'm still surprised with how the Coven became so large..." His eyes wavered to the side as he said that. The way ideas progressed in mortals had put him in awe and fear. The Fey shuddered a little in the cloak. Hopefully she won't see that.
But that's exactly the thing about a drawback in trickery; one is just as likely to trick oneself into seeing what they want as they are to be tricked by others.
"A reliable helping hand is not something easily dismissed." Arora said, as if quoting a religious text (probably HER religious text).
"That's... That's true..." He forced those words out. All of a sudden he felt small again. There was sense in her words, yet he was not liking where this conversation may go.
"... It feels scary. There's joy and relief in everyone, and yet it feels... too big... beyond my ken."
A thought came to mind that set his heart into a loop that caused his hand to grip the fur on his cloak. He wanted to know something. "... Does it ever feel like you're being left behind?"
"Well, at the moment I'm feeling that way rather a lot." Arora pointed out with deliberation. "Though I suspect that isn't exactly what you meant..."
'You feel that too?' His eyes widened a little. "It's a little of both. These days it feels like I'm not suited to these lands anymore. It's good that Sraker has taken so well to the changes, but... Everything that had been built and that I helped in building feels, well... too big, like the Coven of Felissa. I've been keeping with how things in the Coven work, but lately I've been wonder if I've lost my way."
"These feelings, they are not something you need feel ashamed of." Arora said, leaning forward where she sat. "If you feel they need acting upon then I would be more than happy to advise you."
She hesitated a moment.
"What about travel?" she postulated. "Maybe a change of scene after two hundred year around the Mu could do you good."
He sat back in the chair in thought for a few seconds. His eyes were on the pyre taking a toke from the leaf before turning back to Arora.
"Would you be accompanying me?"
"Perhaps. As much as I would enjoy reliving the old days of flying around the globe with you on my back, there are still matters here for me to attend to. My sense of priorities has undergone a ruthless reexamination ever since I fell asleep in that damned volcano."
Arora chuckled humourlessly.
"Hmm... I would remain on call of course, if ever you might need me."
"Hmm?" His eyes perked up at that. "What do you mean?"
"With the powers granted by Thumero, you can contact me from anywhere around the globe. Like I said, I'll have my priorities to attend to, but I should think little would override helping my oldest native friend."
"I... understand... Could I come with you? I think Sraker might also be interested."
"Come with me back to the Isla, you mean? I don't see why not..."
There was a flash of light, as before Ajax's black eyes the woman sitting on his chair became a large bird perched on the backrest.
"Need a lift?" Arora asked, speaking from a phoenix-beaked mouth.
He could only nod.

11 DC: create 100 heroic magical items known as Featherweights; feathers donated from Arora's phoenix form. When prepared correctly using ritualistic incantations, these feathers may be used to augment any normal lifeless object to give the following magical properties:
- the object will have a paradoxically large interior volume compared to outward surface area (the increase in volume can be plotted against original volume as a hyperbolic function, that is to say, if you put a feather in a money pouch the volume would increase dramatically, but if you stuck it in the wall of a house you'd do bugger all)
- it will from then on maintain a consistent weight despite the addition of any external mass to its interior
- the material around any of the object's cavity entrances will gain greater elasticity.
Using a similar preparation the feather may be removed from its object, removing the magical effects. Before doing this, anything placed inside the object that exploits the gain in volume must be removed, otherwise the featherweight won't budge.

Arora has devoted these items to Ajax, along with the necessary preparation enchantments, so that he might distribute them among the Coven of Felissa to be used as they see fit.

Bolt and Gi?zeal- 20Ap 2MP ? Zheler

A bolt of lightning came down slamming into the roof of the bar and then landing in the bar bring in a blinding light that that wrecked the bar. After the blinding light disappeared everyone looked and saw Bolt standing there. he looked around the place for a few seconds then said "need to work on my landing."

A krake by the bar slowly and decidedly casually scratched a description of the beast that had destroyed her bar onto the recently put up bounty board that now hung loosely by her head. The collection of sky-sailors and ambitious citizens in the room drew weapons and aimed them at bolt.

Bolt looked around at all the people pointing weapons at him and said "Is this a bad time?"

A young mutar woman grabbed bolt by the collar with far more strength than would have been expected and began pulling him towards the door,
To the room Gi'zeal said "Trust me you don't want to collect this bounty"
to Bolt she said "yes! what the hell are you doing here, I'm in the middle of something"

Bolt looked at her and said "I know I need to work on my lan..." Bolt stop when he recognized her and his worried face turned to annoyance "Oooh great! it's you I hoped that I wouldn't have to deal with you"

The annoyance was mutual "Well then you don't, I have half a mind to leave you on that bounty board. do you know what your 'landing' could have done to the setup of my establishment"

"Don't worry about that, I can repay her for the bar" Bolt said in a loud voice that everyone could in the bar could hear "I'm just wondering why you're in drag"

She gave bolt a seductive look trying to discomfort him
"Aaroa isn't the only god that can manipulate with love, Body language was a good motivator for getting this lot here, and I hear krakes have a thing for this look too.? Waving her hands to indicate the massive scaly horned lizard ?It?s an appeal thing, I doubt you'd understand"

Bolt looked to the crowd of people and decide to be a Jerk, Gi'zeal deserved it "You know she?s actually a man right" Bolt said as he pointed at Gi'zeal

The bar seemed shocked at this accusation; some of the men put down their drinks and glared at Gi'zeal.
Well the beast clearly didn't understand how godly avatars worked, with a smile Gi'zeal said ?well, what do you think boys? Do I look like a man?? her outfit left very little to the imagination and very few areas of doubt.

Bolt looked at him and with his powers over life he shows the main form of Gi'zeal "Like I said? She?s really a man"

There was a look of shock and fear on gi'zeal's face at the unexpected force of godly power.
The body began to crumple up, limbs disintegrating spinal column folding into itself as it reverted to Gi'zeals true original form. Soon the form of a beautiful Mutar had collapsed in on it ?self spiralling into a tiny speck an assortment of genetic parasites and their proteins that fell to the floor with the faintest splat.
The bar looked at in shock, The krake leaning over for a better view
"The hell?"

".................O.........K that's not ?? Bolt said as he looked at him. "Are you ok Gi'zeal?" Bolt said as he scratched his head

The speck began to swirl, trailing energies off all the patrons in the bar growing into an amorphus shape first a gourd of cider, then it sprouted the wings and fangs of a drake, then the seductive legs of the mutar standing there before.
Soon the shifts became too rapid it was just a mess of constantly flailing and fading shapes growing to the height of a man, and then taller.
Suddenly Gi'zeal's original face leapt out of the mass, Furious his mouth twisted into a snarl, his eyes glowing.
"get OUT"
He slammed into bolt with enough force to throw him clean through the wall of the bar, the mass followed still unable to conform to an avatar still growing.

Bolt picked himself up as a smile came to his face "Ok! I've been looking for a reason to kick your ass for all these years" he said before firing lightning at him

The Lightning seared through Gi'zeal's flesh sloughing of lumps of organic and inorganic material, limbs, currency, even sections of structures fell of him, The bulk reeled his face still within it's centre screamed with rage. almost incoherent "how DARE you!" nobody reduced him to that, he was Above that. More than a parasite! He charged at Bolt his need to destroy the monster, to erase what had just happened consumed all "no IDEA what you did.? A limb shot out of the thing, a fist made of pure gold ringed with the fangs of drakes and sharks.

the misshapen appendage pushed Bolt out of the bar and into the ocean. Bolt then used his powers over wind to push him into the sea with him. "Thanks for the help" Bolt said Before electrify the water around Gi.

The pain was excruciating. The shock pushed past the rage Gi'zeal flickered back into something nearing rational thought, what he was doing? He was a mess. This was undignified. He paused a moment the mass of wanted objects still swirling in place, the fury remained, he would kill the Beast for what he just did. But he would do it properly.
He began to conform to an avatar one drawn from the wants and hates of the offending monster.
Slowly the shape began to rise over the bay, the massive metalic form a mirror image of the machine that had devastaed genesis.

Bolt pause for a second "it...it" then angry "IT WAS YOU!!!" Bolt screamed as he charge his horn with the power of a 100 storms "I WILL END YOU"

Taumel ? Zheler

Taumel heard the commotion, but played no heed to it at first. It was odd though, that there was still infighting within the reef when both sides were working together and the Dead Mother had placed herself in the middle.

It didn't take long before she realized it wasn't her people that were fighting. The massive colossus gave it away. Taumel hovered up above the reef and the battle, to get a look at who they were.

"This land is under the protection of Taumel the White." She raised her voice, but it was mostly to show her people that she would always protect them when she could. These two imbeciles could fight all they wanted as long as they were nowhere near her followers.

She used her psychic powers to put each of the two offenders into bubbles of energy, which she picked up and floated away from the reef with until they were way out at sea. Taumel kept the bubbles up, suspending the two other prodigies from fighting with each other. Meanwhile, she crossed her legs and floated above them.

For a time Gi'zeal raged within the bubble pushing trying to reach bolt, to hurt him. but once they were out over the ocean he had calmed, fighting taumel's power took the mind, a tool he hadn't been using, once he did he realised what kind of madness he was engaged in and stopped, the colossus slowly shrank to that of a small magpie.
looking at bolt still with fury but genuinely ashamed towards Taumel.

Bolt stopped for a second in the bubble with his rage subsided he then looked at Taumel and said "He started it!"

Gi'zeal didn't bother to reply to bolt and just said directly to taumel "That is provably false"

"Oh, is it?" Taumel looked at Gi'zeal. She didn't doubt that he hadn't started it. He may be a greedy self-serving clown, but so far he had been bright enough to not try anything in her domain that she would disapprove of. It could hardly be a coincidence that the fighting started when Bolt arrived for the first time. "Prove it then."

Gi'zeal waved his wing accusingly "He was a damn fool enough to attack me with divine power in a room full of witnesses"

"Ask the people in the bar He hit me first" Bolt said in a whiny voice

Gi'zeal's voice tinged with rage again "He did far worse than hit me"

Gi'zeal didn't reply with words just a yell of rage, his form began to shift back into that of a machine when he crashed up against the bubble again. Remembering himself he said to taumel "There. he confesses!"

"Enough!" Taumel raised her voice. "This is pathetic. It doesn't matter who started it, clearly no one attempted to stop it."

"What are the two of you even doing in my domain?"

"I'm here to open up a trade route" Bolt said "I need a new one after kick his people trade route out"

Calmly Gi'zeal explained "I was accompanying some travellers of my own people who came here on unrelated matters. While in town I thought to check up on the drunks I left here so many centuries ago. Nothing of note. Then the Beast falls from the sky and attacks me"

"I didn't attack you!" bolt said in a loud voice "I came down accidentally wreck the bar and then I saw he was a woman and decided to show the bar his original form, then he turned into a monster and attacked me, just ask the people at the bar. I'm not crazy"

Gi'zeal was now plain outraged at the stupidity of it all ?If you were here for a trade route with The Kasier!? Why the hell did you crash through a distant bar, insult me then use divine power to dispel my avatar in front of a room full of people!"

Bolt looked at him and said "Frist, I suck at teleporting, 2. I liked messing with you." A Smile comes to his face as he said the last part

Taumel was surprised that Bolt had come to start a trade route with her, because he didn't want to deal with Gi'zeal. She wondered why that was, but didn't get a chance to speak before they went at each other again. Gi'zeal had a better understanding of how things worked around here at least.

Taumel understood Gi'zeal's outrage at what had happened. She didn't particularly like Bolt's attitude about it either. If Gi'zeal wanted to appear as a female in her domain, then he was free to do so, depending on what she had looked like some might even have encouraged it.

"It seems teleporting isn't your only flaw." Taumel said, and narrowed her eyes at Bolt. "Why do you not want to trade with him? Why have you even travelled half-way across the world to trade with a civilization that has little to no existing trades with outsiders? They have what they want, and what they don't have... Well." She grinned, as they just took it from those who were weaker than them.

Bolt eyes narrowed at her having half the mind to leave but he knew there was no other opinion "you know about Emperor Bolt I presume" Bolt said in a calm voice

"Never heard of." Taumel said, and shrugged.

"30 years ago he took over and enslaved the thorns. I stopped him but the damage was done he created an economy that needed a good trading to work which he pay with slaves. I cut that trade route out but I need to replace it or my city will fall apart" Bolt said as he got on his knees and begged "please I wasn't there when they needed me most" Bolt said as tear came down his eyes as he cried I CAN"T FAIL THEM AGAIN"

Taumel was taken by surprise when Bolt began to beg her for help with tears in his eyes. She had no problem with letting his people die out. Her philosophy was very much that only the strongest and cleverest should be allowed to succeed in life. However, such a trade route may be beneficial to her if he was this desperate.

"What kind of goods do you have to trade, and what would you need in return?" Taumel asked. "I'm not agreeing to anything yet, but if you want to make a deal then do so. It is not the way of either of the city states that I guide."

Maybe a second black-market could benefit them though. A second shipwreck could be established further north west at some point if it happened, making The Banshee the true ruler of the Sundered Sea.

Bolt got up and said "I can start by giving you something special" all of a sudden about 30 nimbus clouds came in from the distance "These things are like horse but can fly and are extremely loyal. I can give you some as a gift for the trade route. we also have a lot of food from plants to meat that can't be found in your land."

"It's not quite what I had in mind, but I suppose it's a good start." Taumel smiled briefly. "Hmm, yes, I think they might appreciate new kinds of food. Especially from far away places, exotic delicacies if you will."

"What is it that your people want in return? We come across a lot of different goods the way that we procure them."

"I'm not an expert on this trade route thing." Bolt said as he scratched his head "I was sent first because I can't be killed that easily. I will send over trade negotiator in a few days to talk about that" Bolt got out of the bubble and jumped on his nimbus cloud "Just promise nothing bad will happen to him."

"As long as he doesn't travel by sea he should arrive safely at least." Taumel nodded. "I will make no promises, seeing what you've done yourself since you've arrived, but as long as he doesn't cause trouble he won't be harmed."

"Thanks" Bolt said as he flow off in the distance with the other nimbus clouds staying next to Taumel

Gi'zeal sat in the bubble watching the whole exchange with contempt, he would have welcomed a new source of trade from bolt before but now... well he would enjoy watching bolt's simple people get drawn into the complexities and controls of Taumels insular society.
Once bolt was gone and most of his rage subsided Gi'zeal said wearily "Might I go now? I have an establishment to re-build"

Taumel released Gi'zeal from the bubble, and waved her hand dismissively.

He flew back to the shore. To return to the Philosipher's Virtue and find only ruins, and the faitnest remains of a struggle, any patrons or decorated were either gone or dead.
He looked over the empy place biterly an easy expression for a bird
"Bloody Typical"
Then flew off in a huff to return to the city of Gi'zeal and sort this whole mess out himself.

Gi?zeal- 17Ap 2MP ? The city of Gi?zeal

It was clear the bounty hunters guild he had set up in Zhaler had run afoul of someone almost immediately, perhaps a local authority was already in place. Or Taumel?s people disapproved of such commercial means. The whole organisation would have to be brought into alignment with local wishes if it needed to be successful.
Luckily Henreitta had set up such and organisation here in the city while he was on the reef, less luckily she claimed control and ownership of the whole thing.
As his one had been wiped out Gi'zeal grudgingly allowed her to manage the bounty hunters organisation.
He would give her that concession if the organisation was to become global.
First of all it would have to be re-branded, things would need to be smoothed over with the reef, and some sort of magical co-ordination system would need to be put into place.

As Henrietta dealt with the first two matters Gi'zeal acted on the latter

Henreittia let the ?god? of the city who for some reason had decided to show up as a bird mess about with the signs, She would have to go and deal with the real work.
The original organization from the reef?s sign had been brought back and it had not taken long for her to work out what had gotten them all into trouble.
All the names on the list were of wild animals aside from one.
Their listed crime ? ?Piracy?
It was clear who had dealt with these people. She?d been a fool for allowing Ghost division to come into conflict with potential bounty hunters, there would be nothing to scare off potential new guild members faster than the threat of the banshee? well she wouldn?t make the mistake again. There was an elegant solution to all this.
She rounded up all the names of hunters that had tried to claim a bounty on a pirate.
Invited them to dinner for their exemplary efforts and once they had all been well and truly drugged threw them into the hold of a trade barge and let the undefended vessel float off into the pirate?s waters.
A small finely written letter was left on top of the sealed hatch.

?To My friends at Ghost division,

A Mistake has been made by an organization of mine, and although I have made immediate and appropriate corrections I leave the punishment of the guilty to you.
These men and women made attempts of varying success to claim a bounty by killing or capturing some of your fellows, for the Crime of piracy: Illegal by Mu law.
However anyone with any amount of sense should know who is the true law on the Sundered Sea.
The Banshee has far more power over the waves than the Tribune or Lord Protector and I wish to respect that authority.
I extend to her the offer to control the bounties of the seas; they will of course be maintained by my organisation and communicated across the mu.

Look forward to your reply and our continued partnership

Bolt - 21/30 AP, 2 MP - Thucho'Iro Heights
Bolt returned to the palace where Mrs. flower and Klaw were waiting. ?Okay that everything? bolt asked Klaw as he jumped off his cloud and sat down.

?Yes, that is everything? Klaw said ?We should be able to work it out from here?

?Good? Bolt said in a relieved voice ?Now for one more thing, where is my hill at.?

?What? Klaw asked looking at him with confusion.

?Yeah!? Bolt said as he got up ?back in the day I used a sleep on my hill as you guys did your own thing?

Mrs. flower got up and said ?Yeah, you were gone for a while and we didn't think you were coming back so we built this palace on this hill.?

Bolt looked at Klaw and said ?okay, looks like you need to move this palace off my hill?

Klaw yelled ?WHAT!!!? In complete shock of the notion ?you can't just move a 1000 ton marble Palace it's too heavy. Even if you did there would be no way it would stay together that would be insane."

Mrs.Flower looked at Klaw and said ?it's been so long as I last saw him I forgot how dim headed he could be sometimes?

?But is a palace really that much better than my little hill? Bolt ask with a puppy dog face

?yes it is? Klaw said without even hesitating

?fine I go find another hill then? also with a irritated voice ?okay Mrs. flower what you want to ta??

Before he could finish Mrs. flower screamed ?stop calling me that!?

?Wait? Klaw asked ?your original name was Mrs. Flower?AHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA that is the stupidest thing I have ever heard? Klaw said as he rolled on the floor laughing

?shut up Klaw? Mrs. Flower said with an irritated voice ?my name's Rose now?

Bolt had a confused look on his face as he asked ?why did you change your name?

?Rose looked back at him with irritation and said ?I don't know? Maybe after waiting for you for 200 years you get kind of Irritated with the name that sounds like it was made by a five-year-old?

?but I like the name? Bolt said in a sad voice.

?and no one else does? Rose responded.

?But Klaw is laughing so he must like it? Bolt said as he pointed at Klaw.

?yeah I love it Mrs. flower AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH? Klaw while he was still on the floor laughing.

Rose let out an annoyed growl before walking off and saying ?I'll talk to you two assholes later? before closing the door behind her.

?AHAHAHAHAHAHAH yeah I have to be somewhere to? Klaw said as he got up and started to walk out of the room ?I?ll talk to you and Mrs. flower later AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH? before closing the door behind him

?I don't get it, he seems to like it? Bolt said as he stood in the room by himself ?okay Bolt don?t get distracted need to do one more thing? Ar'Guran 16 AP 1MP Nightmare Hunt

Sneezing and rubbing his nose as he looks out into the circle of hell he had formed in the middle of the forest Ar'Guran laughs to himself as he can feel a few mortals already stepping inside the edges and dying before they even get a handful of feet into it. Their bodys being dragged in farther before they are eaten by flora and fauna alike. Taking to wing and slowly circling higher and higher into the air above this area Ar'Guran smiles wide to himself as he watches as the massive fighting between the animals starts already and blood flows easier than water would normally. Circling over the circle itself the Dragon can feel as life after life is snuffed out only for new ones to be born an start to grow at an astonishing pace before joining into the fight and killing before being killed themselves.

Dropping through the air and slamming into the ground in a small clearing Ar'Guran reaches out and grabs a deathworm who had been trapped in the circle and had soon become one of the kings of the territory without having to worry, even though its appetite was several times more than ever before. Snorting as it tries to bite him Ar'Guran tosses it into the forest again and takes to the air again. The drastic changes that had happened in this place was enough to test any man or woman who wanted to make themselves stronger. But even they needed a reason to come.

Flying quickly the Dragon lands at the circle outcrop in the center and walks over to the center. Looking down at it and lightly scratching it with his claws he pulls pieces of wood from the forest around him and combines it with the rock to form a table. Looking at it closely Ar'Guran spits a wad of tar onto it and watches as it slowly spreads over the table.

Watching it for a second the Dragon turns and starts flying towards the fortress of Guran as he smiles feral, knowing that soon that part of the forest will be drawing hunters and mad people of all kinds trying to show they are powerful. Dropping through the air and slamming into the side of the fortress he keeps cracks from forming and crawls over it shrinking and sliding through a window. Surprising and making those in the room back away in fear and respect as he makes his way though the fortress quickly and walks into the main room almost everyone in the fortress eventually gets to with the large rock with the Guran language sits. Jerking a large slab from the wall very flat and thin he props it against the other stone and starts writing on it with sharp angry words for a few minutes before sitting back and snorting softly. Turning and looking at the crowd Ar'Guran says to them.
?I hope that any who try are prepared for death, because it is a place of nightmares.?

The stone behind him saying.
One day to the east of Guran there is a patch of forest where the pants and animals have become creatures of nightmares and death.

The Nightmare Hunt is for those who want to prove themselves, in the center is a place where they will not attack you and where you can find wonderful items and amazing things.

Only the strong will survive.
Looking at the group looking between him and the stone Ar'Guran smirks and turns away, walks into a room to the side next to where Viera's is and behind him the stone seems to melt and form a solid door, leaving the crowd to stare at the wall and the written words. After a while a small group of Nirn push forward and stare at it wide eyed before turning into a small group and whispering to each other and smiling wider and wider as they do. Two of them turning back to run out of the room the rest move forward and stand around the stone pushing people back and telling them to wait for a second. A few of them talking back and forth.
?This is a perfect opportunity, we might not be the fabled ones of the past but i'm sure we can sure this.?

The other one next to him nodding quickly.
?I agree, this is perfect. If the tales of old are right eventually the other side of the group who sent us here will come back and we can use this.?

As they talk back and forth a group of Kiesh following the two nirn who had run off walk over to the stone and lightly pick it up. Their muscles bulging and working as they pick up the stone and slowly carry it out, the crowd following them. After carrying it through the fortress to the level of selling they set it up right in the middle and after some hasty whispers the leader of the small group stands up on a table and opens his arms to half yell to those who had followed.
?Come! Here are the words of our once dead god come back to us! He has give us a place to prove out devotion to him as well as prove to everyone out strength!?

As the crowd murmers and talks to each other softly he raises his voice again to tell out over the noise.
?Fellow followers, he has given us a place to go and prove just how good we are in not only power but faith. He would not have given us a place to do this if he did not believe in us, and when the other mortals from beyond the mountains and valleys come to trade they will see how strong we are because of our Dragon and will join and follow him as well.?

From behind him another Nirn runs up and sets a few wrapped items on the table and the speaker reaches down to pick up a well made ax in one hand and some armor in his other, holding them out for all to see.
?We have the equipment required to go and slay the things in this Nightmare Hunt, but we are not strong of arm to do it. So we will sell these to any and all who wish to go and try out their skill and luck in the name of the Great Dragon!?

After this a huge cheer goes up in the crowd and they all start rushing forward to get weapons and armor. Jeri, kiesh and fey all babbling and yelling out for what they think they will need. As they do and the sellers try their best to do it the man who had been talking jumps down and smiles to his assistant as they make their way back to their own shop and start pulling out piles of things they had thought they would never be able to get rid of. The assistant saying to the one who had been talking in a low voice.
?You believe in the Dragon that much??

Hiero looks over and smiles thinly at his assistant as he starts handing out ax's and other weapons along with armor and anything people wanted he had, the pile of claws behind them growing faster than they ever imagined.
?No idiot, but most of these people do and thinking their god on earth wants them to causes this. Now shut up and sell.?

Make an Epic item DC11

Corruption +4, necromancy +2, knowledge +2, biological +2

Epic Item; the Crafting Table.

The crafting table has several premade recipies that can be created at it, though there is a limit to how many sets can be made at any one time. The items that can be made are listed in a revolving wooden slat on one end which can be removed and placed on the table. At the other end three wooden dolls sit, these will gain minitures of the items made so far. Only three full sets can be in existance. Each person can only make 4 items, then the table will no longer work for them.

When a recipe is chosen and set on the table the table gains depressions and listed items for what it needs to create the items. the following list of items can be made. All of these items will last as long as the owner is alive, when they die the items disintegrate.

Strawhat- Survives till wearer dies.[three different wood barks and a type of poisonous plant on the table]
Bracers- as hard as steel[bark of a tree and three leg bones of a wolf.]
Necklace-does not get dirty[deathworm gems and metals. three kinds of each.]
belt-uncuttable [one pound of wood and 4 different kinds of leather from animals.]
Boots-Never wear out.[4 kinds of leather from 4 different animals and strips of leather from a carnorabbit.]

Chest plate-slow bleeding from wounds[6 death worm metal, three kinds of leather, two kinds of wood.]
great ax-poisons not owners[made of wood. 6 different poisonous kinds of wood, one leather 4 death worm alpha teeth]
Dagger-stays sharp[two death worm metals, leather, 2 kinds of wood, two deathworm alpha teeth]

One alpha death worm[the kind found in the nightmare hunt] will give 5 alpha teeth [the largest teeth found] and 4 different kinds of metal.

The most drastic change is the carno rabbits, they are the size of normal rabbits but they have the mentality of piranha and will swarm anything that comes close.

Ajax & Arora - Isla Maranga'nawe

A short bird-born commute later, Ajax found himself standing with the reformed humanoid of Arora. Fuming before them was the side tunnel entrance to Maranga'nawe's interior.
"This is where your son has spending most of his time of late." Arora said. "He has a project in the works, apparently."

The Fey had no words and his jaw slackened. He nearly walked right into the cave to find him, but remembered that Arora was still with him and had to slow his pace.

Something seemed strange about the volcano when he looked at it. He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but it was like the fires of that isle had lessened. The inside of the caves blasted his face with hot air and made his cloak heat up against his clothes. It became so hot against him than he had to remove the cloak and fold it into a bolt so it would be easy to carry in the cave.

"Sraker?" He called out ahead.

No answer.

"It can get rather loud on the inside." Arora explained, hesitating.

The silence caused him to breathe in the air of the caves, and was in a coughing fit the moment the dry scalding air touched his throat. His head lurched down by instinct to purge the irritation. Half a minute passed before the cough subsided and he continued his way. For a minute he thought the goddess was hovering over him, but such thoughts were selfish and an insult to his memory of and love for Felissa. He gave his head another shake to jostle the thought from his head and pressed forward. The ground grew hotter and the air more oppressive, and Ajax could see the harsh red magma grow blue like the ice in Silverholt. His thoughts tumbled and surged in his head, the idea that the Psion had returned and that his son had done something with him - or perhaps to him hastened his travel. The demigod walked where the fires grew more azure and darkened, moving away from where the magma was ruddy and normal. The rumbling and flow grew more cacophonous until finally he could nnot even hear his own thoughts. If Sraker was in the volcano, then it would have to be here right at the beating heart of Isla Maranga'nawe.

"Sraker! You there?" He called out again.

At first there was, again, no answer. Sulfurous fumes drifted noxious over the edge of the precipice, at the bottom of which lava pits broiled with renewed activity. It was from this direction that Sraker now made an appearance.

The demi-god floated up before their eyes, elevated by his magical cloud-steed. The vaporous being rolled as a turbulent mass, its form dancing in the heatwaves ever traveling onwards up the shaft. Sraker himself had a workman's look about him; sleeves rolled up to make room for elbow high leather gloves, a rag tied over his mouth and nose to block heat or fumes. Somehow he still managed to justify the hat in all this.

"Father! Arora!" he said by way of greeting, voice muffled by the protective gear. He drifted closer, joining his family on the solid ground. The rag came off quickly, revealing his furry face glistening with sweat, satisfaction radiating from every hair.

He wiped away the perspiration, saying, "Your arrival is well timed. Generation one has just begun pupating, allowing me a period of respite. Did you need something?"

It was good to see his son again, though it was odd to meet him in the heart of the volcano. 'Suppose it was inevitable with his courage.' The comment that Sraker made confused him.

"What do you mean by generation one?"

"I was wondering the same thing." said Arora. "What is it you've been doing, Sraker?"

The Lord Protector chuckled. Turning his back on them, he walked back to stand at the very edge of the stone outcrop, signaling over his shoulder for the others to follow.

"Come, let me show you." he said, crouching where he stood and indicating downwards in a sweeping motion of the hand. From this vantage point one could see the large globular shapes fused to the stone bank of the silicate pool, their crusted exteriors inlaid with craggy gemstones. Looking closer still, into the pool itself, glutinous ripples of motion could be seen, signs that registered as more in keeping with the activity of sea-life than that of a volcano.

"Pupating..." Arora whispered to herself, watching the crusted objects. She raised an eyebrow.

"I assume, then, that those mysterious formations are 'generation one'."

"You assume true. I have been collaborating with Flolem to accelerate their growth, so that I might sooner behold the end point of my roaches..."

"You've cooked up a new species..." Arora realised, thinking as she did so that maybe it hadn't been such a good idea to let her demi-god act without restriction.

Sraker looked at the goddess with mild indignity.

"What Flolem and I have cooked up is no less than a work of art." he said.

"It certainly is something." Ajax could agree with his son to an extent, his face slackened. He had no real reference to these creatures, so the Fey had to ask, "What do think they'll do when they fully mature?"

"I have plans." said Sraker. "Generation one will be more of a trial phase, but when it comes to generation two..." he indicated the strange organic motions in the lava pit. "Expect some big changes around here. Anyway, enough about me; what can I do for you?"

'What kind of plans? Now I'm curious, son.' "Well, we've been thinking that it might be time to travel abroad, and I was wonder if you'd like to travel with us."

"Hmmm..."Sraker stood up, intrigued. "I have many duties here to attend to... But might I ask where you're planning to go before I give a final answer? And under what pretext?"

"I wouldn't know." The question forced Ajax away from the act of creation and the plans his son had. His eyes dropped low and stared off. "Truth be told I feel like I'm out of touch with things here. Arora here feels the same as well, says she wanted to reexamine herself..." He trailed off as he found his reasoning to be flimsy in his head.

He knew he did not want to leave Arora's side now, especially since his son had shown great power in his own creation, but saying that would have been more rude.

"Out of touch?" Sraker repeated. "I see. I am very much in touch with Mucron, I think you'll find, to the extent that you walk in on me elbow deep in the local volcano."
He gave the fingers of his gloved hand a sniff, inhaling the odour of sulfur and a job well done. Not even yish could smell that good.
"However..." he said, his manner changing abruptly into one that almost resembled a trance. "There is one place I should much like to see. Shall your travels take you to the Breakopen?"

Arora's eyes flashed at this.

Ajax was surprised at the change in tone as well. He stared in the direction of the Flolem that Sraker mentioned, and wondered if it may be having an effect on him. If this was another god like Arora, Gi'Zeal, Thumero or the others, then he'd have to change his plans. His gaze went back to his son.

"It might be where we'll go unless you know of other places we should go." He turned his head to Arora as if to suggest that she has her own ideas. "But what about you, son?"

Sraker nodded, thinking. He recalled a memory, one so shrouded in mystique yet so devoid of detail that it could only be his earliest one. The black one.

The colour of his attire and shadowy aspect had only comprised the smallest portion of his blackness, a basalt pebble dropped into an abyss. For that, in all truth, was what Sraker had seen in this man; an abyss of blackness. Corruption in its purest (the corner of Sraker's lips lifted in a smirk at that notion) form.
Never again had he seen anything like this, and until recently he could not have been happier. For the abyss had been his one great fear ever since that day in his infancy. Even later in life, until becoming Lord Protector, he had been able to feel the corruption's presence like an intense heat on the other side of the world. And so the fear had persisted. It was only when Arora went missing that he was granted full relief, for with her departed the abyssal aura that infected the planet.

Of course, that meant that now she was back, so was the corruption.

But I am stronger now. I can face the abyss. It's waiting for me in the city of Guran.
The Prince of Corruption.

"I think..." said Sraker. "That with all the new changes on the horizon, I had best remain with my people. Unless you intend to go to Breakopen at the earliest possible opportunity. If that were the case, I would accompany you that far, but thereafter make my own way."

"Then I'd be glad to travel with you to the forest... I understand." Ajax smiled, but he could feel that whirlwind of woe in his son, and it left a fatigue in him. He felt fearful for Sraker, for what he might try. He hoped that Sraker would not do anything rash until they had more knowledge. But it seemed like an agreement had been made.

"When should we leave?"

"I would prefer to have a chance at kicking off the my roaches scheme before our departure. That might take a couple of days. Katya and Henrietta must also be given some warning, so that they can take the reigns for Mucron security. Can I rely on you to do that, Arora?"

"Certainly."

"Good. Two days from now."

Ajax nodded, but the impression he got from his son still bothered him. He had to say something to Sraker, to get through that anxiety before they all left the volcano.

"Everything's going to be alright Sraker... Everything's going to be alright."

Arora - 12/30 AP, 2 MP - Isla Maranga'nawe, 212

Arora will assist Bolt's item creation with +4 love (being friends and all), +2 wisdom (since the spear is related to people's awareness), +2 courage (gives strength to overcome manipulation), +2 Truth (makes people their true selves), and +2 earth (fortify the metal in the spear, for that is of the earth). Overall +12.
Make it so that the spear's influence extends beyond direct mental manipulation, so that people under other forms of unwanted subjugation will gain the ability to resist. This would include things like slavery and magical binding.

Leilani- 14/30 2MP-Yggdrasil
Leilani was pleased with the new statue dedicated to Taumel. Lots of feyeath and thorns went to worship it, way more than the other ones. People went to the other statues as well as a result, though not as much as new statue that had been made. Leilani wished she had asked Taumel much sooner than she had, but everything seemed to be good now.

While Leilani was about doing her daily rounds in Yggdrasil, she felt another God attempting to create an item. It was Bolt trying to create a spear of free will. "Well that sounds interesting whatever Bolt is trying to make. Imagine the other gods will try to do something to stop/help in the creation, but I could care less. Is in a part of the world that I'm nowhere near to anyways. I don't even know where Yggdrasil is at."

From what Leilani could remember, Yggdrasil was floating east and to the south of Steelcoast Swamp. She couldn't make out much of the land below since Yggdrasil was just a bit higher for her to see. She wanted to go teleport down with some people and explore, but someone came up behind her, grabbing her breasts. "How are you darling?", Nissa said.

This startled Leilani in her train of thought. "Oh! Well hello there Nissa. Everything going fine," she said, then giving a kiss to Nissa on the cheek.

"Oh you know been thinking about you. Haven't really had much alone time since you've been back."

"Well I've just been busy with so many things. 200 year gap, and Yggdrasil is floating now. Just so much--" Nissa stopped Leilani there, putting her finger over Leilani's lips.

"You can think of that later. Right now you should go relax. I'll show you just how to do that too." Nissa grabbed Leilani's hand, making her follow her into Leilani's room so they could have some fun.
DC 15: Forge a +2 magic item (+4 nature, +2 shamanistic, +2 revelation)

Lover's Embrace

The union of Leilani and Nissa inadvertently created a magic item in the process. When using this item [+2 desire], it can charm a person into doing whatever the owner of the item wants. It lasts as long as the owner wants it to, but can be stopped by great magical power. It can also unlock intimate desires a person has, letting their true, primal instincts emerge. It can be only destroyed during an intense embrace between two lovers.

Thumero - Yggdrasil - 21/30 AP & 2 MP

As the Psion carried the tree, he had been hard at work, finding each and every mortal who stole his powers. From within the darkened locus that his head was fixed in he saw those thieves like evergreen embers dotting the lands. The insects that grew to become his new eyes and ears confirmed these embers as the thieves, which made grabbing them and enforcing their role and punishment all the easier. The ones who would refuse the undertaking had their psionic energy taken back - forcibly - while those who demanded they keep their energy had their brains and sinuses crushed. Yet something was wrong when he tried to join the power with his own; the two sources could not join. The thieves had... done... something to claim Thumero's will as their own, creating a static that tried to shred his consciousness when he tried to assimilate them. Either that or the tree - which carried some kind of sentient signature - had cast a neural wall to either prevent the absorption, or siphon it for itself.

So, what to do with it?

The tree throbbed, and Thumero gelt his gaze tunnel and his senses deprived. It was trying to pool more power from him. This was not the first time it happened, as Yggdrasil seemed to drink up his strength for purposes unknown. It certainly did not know what to do with the Psion's will and power, as it seemed to regurgitate it and let it either seep across itself like a colorless mist, or cast it off in the manner of a lightning bolt. The boom he heard in the sky signalled to Thumero that it made yet another bolt, in the direction of some great act of creation. He could feel it, and now it seems that its creator was receiving his help regardless of his consent.

He tried to focus his remaining will to finding his body. The insects could see what had happened to it, who owns it, and Thumero was angry. How dare that mortal steal his body?? How dare he??

He would move the structure to where that thieving mortal was, intent to grab the mortal, and demand that he explain his actions before he rips his head from the Psion's body.

Due to certain situations, Thumero finds himself forced to assist in Bolt's item creation [+6] in Psionics goes in there. Also, if possible, Thumero will be moving Yggdrasil - and himself - to where Skullduggery is. By now he's probably one big crystal.

Arora - 12/30 AP, 2 MP - Isla Maranga'nawe, 212

The Heartfire feels the energy of an action take place. It is the Heavenly Flower, creating some kind of charming device.

She isn't sure how she feels about this. Such an object could be used for the most malicious intentions. Though perhaps Leilani recognises this, having only decided to make her item when Bolt had made his. The free will could be used to easily cancel out anything too drastic.

There is still something wrong with the thought of Leilani's venture, however. It leaves a bad taste. Maybe, Arora thinks, she only feels this way because the effect of unwillingly reciprocated desire undermines her own domain too much for comfort.

Arora comes to a decision. She will not strive to destroy the object outright, but she will attempt to refine its purpose just a little more...

Hinder Leilani's action with only -2 wisdom (due to the emphasis on mental awareness).
Make it so that if the Lover's Embrace is used on someone, that person will ALWAYS know. Once the charm has cleared they will remember exactly who placed the spell upon them, as well as what they were forced to do whilest under it. Their reaction to these memories will be in keeping with their character prior to the charming.
This way, no one will be able to force anyone to do anything without needing to deal with the consequences later. If the item is only used to 'unlock intimate desires a person has, letting their true, primal instincts emerge', this may not matter since it is possible that the subject was willing to experience such stimulation. But if they are being forced into something they do not want, they will be capable of seeking retribution.

Venari - Silverholt - 21/30 AP, 2 MP

As the day went, Venari was brought into his lodge and to a guarded chamber within it. Before he had disappeared, it was a sacred and spartan place. Now ornate banners, furs, and ice formations lined the halls. As he reached the particularly guarded chamber and the doors to it were opened he glimpsed the child he had learned was wearing his name.

Venari the Sixth as he had learned he was named from elders was sitting upon the throne that Venari had made so long ago in his home, though now it was covered in dyed furs and filigree. In the same way, the child sitting upon it wore red dyed furs and cloth.

The Guards and the elders that were there to escort and lead Venari brought him a few feet infront of the child before backing away and bowing to the child. After a few moments the child spoke,

"Who are you and why have you entered my territory?"

Venari's mind sharpened on hearing the child's voice "I am Venari, these lands are my chosen home."

The child looked incredulously at the man infront of him and replied "I am Venari. Who are you?"

Venari looked at the tool he saw on the child's belt, recognizing it as he replied "I am Venari." He paused as he felt oxidization of his veins increase "You wear my name, as I have been told your ancestors have."

The child continued to look at him Incredulously as he once again replied "What? What do you-? Scribe?"

One of the Nirn Elders approached the child and spoke "My lord... The man we have brought before you is as he says as far as we can tell. Those we have sent to tell you, they told you of how he has arrived here? His flesh shattered their blades, he walked from the flames unscathed, and if he is one of the corrupt the sun has done did nothing to stop him. Have you not listened of the things he has granted us since he has arrived?"

"I've been told the stories," the child replied, "Do you have any proof?"

The elder looked annoyed at the child "I can see the artifact in its sheath on your hip, I can see the godmetal strapped to your back, I can see your heart beating in your chest, and I can see the poison your wine has been laced with today." He stared into the child's eyes "Until a month ago I was blind and through his grace I can see."

The child blinked "Poison?"

The elder stared "Do you not listen to us? They've been trying to kill you since you took power. Every day there's an attempt. Every day they get closer. Today apparently would have been the day if I hadn't seen it."

The child looked in confusion "Who? Why would they-?"

"Because you let your nobility live without restraint. Every time we tell you of their sins, you absolve them. They think you're weak."

"I-"

Venari walked towards the child while speaking to the elders and the guards in the room "Purge the nobles on the list I handed you this morning, redistribute their wealth amongst the masses. Demand the others to swear allegiance to the state, strip the wealth of those who refuse and redistribute it to the masses."

A couple of the guards looked incredulously at him before sprinting off. The child looked at him confused.

Venari stared into the child's eyes "I've decided. Your life isn't what it is meant to be you have been made weak, without thought. You cannot be left here like this. I'm taking your state and my home back and in exchange I offer you a choice. You may remain within Silverholt without your wealth or you may follow me into the wastes and grant your descendants the chance to reclaim your position."

The child continued to look in confusion before lowering his head and after a few minutes replying "Fine..."

Venari nodded and things began to move forward.

[hr]

Changes were rapidly wrought throughout the kingdom of Silverholt as Venari forced reorganization and realignment of it. Objections and the factions behind them arose at first, but were quickly quelled as the freshly empowered cult of Venari silenced them.

The Kingdom born in Venari's name became a Republic built upon a meritocracy, designed to be guided by those blessed by Venari since his return. The scholars carried his will before and after his return and should he disappear they would be the ones to keep his word clear. The scholars when they passed and new minds were required would be replaced by those they chose in their time, and with hope the society would remain in line with his thoughts.

As the days went, Venari searched the land for those who held his teachings and as things went he gathered a group of about fifty around himself, all to follow him into the wasteland beyond Silverholt. All for a journey he couldn't describe the purpose of to them.

In the end though, as the last month ended and Venari's stability spread he and those who were to follow him left.

[hr]

Venari and Arora

As the night wore on, Venari found himself in the cold air of the wastes beyond Silverholt. His effort to alter the landscape, prepare it for the journey had gone awry. After a few minutes of silence, watching the wind blow he spoke into the distance "Arora, if you can hear me. I ask for your help."

Meanwhile at Mucron, Arora had been speaking to Katya when the hunter's words reached her.
"Forgive me, but I have just heard the summons of another god." she told the Lady Tribune. "You can expect me back soon."
With that she was gone.

Simultaneous with her disappearance from Katya's presence, Arora was to appear in the presence of Venari.
"Venari, my friend." she said by way of greeting. "I believe thanks are in order! Do not think that your core forging assistance went unnoticed..."

Venari's eyes focused on Arora as she appeared, half-staring at her "I- Arora, hello. Core?" his expression turned to confusion for a second before returning to neutrality "You're welcome."

Arora smiled at the god before turning to stand parallel at his side, looking out over the snow wastes. She pulled her silks tighter around her shoulders, better to protect her from the arctic winds.
"So..." she prompted. "What is it you have need of from me?"

Venari materialized a large rust coloured seed in his hand and raised it toward Arora "The last generation refused to grow below the frost. Without them, If my tribe follows me into the wastes they'll starve. I don't know what's wrong with the design."

"Hmm..."
Arora took the seed and held it close to her eyes, staring into it with regal inspection, examining the biology. Newfound awareness gave her a feel for the flow of Chi life force beneath the reddened shell.
"You seek my help with replanting, then." she enquired.

"Yes." Venari smiled slightly "Mostly. If you see nothing wrong."

"It's hard to describe the exact issue..." Arora said, handing the seed back to him. "It's missing something. 'A woman's touch', might be the best way to put it."

Venari nodded as he took the seed "If you think it would help. Arora..." he breathed in, "You're the first of us I've spoken to since... I need to ask. How many of us were absent?"

"Truth be told, I do not know for certain. I have done some research on the matter though. It seems to me that unless they were being intentionally discreet, and unless you believe those heinous rumours about Bolt, none of us have been conscious for the last two hundred years."
Arora looked at Venari.
"Bear in mind, however, that you are the only god I have actually spoken to since reawakening."

Venari nodded as he looked int0 the sky "I wasn't sure until now, they're toying with us."

- Create Iron bark trees.
- The Iron bark tree is superficially a tree, and follows similar principles to that of a tree if one did not follow the fine details of what constitutes a tree. The bark of it is a rust colour and over the course of the "tree's" life it develops the properties of refined iron. The "leaves" of it are black with slightly metallic veins and aren't shed unless damaged. The "wood" of the "tree," while having similar properties to wood follows a more fungal architecture and it laces its sap and the fruit of the tree with its spore. The sap of the "tree" has the basic qualities of sap, however due to the mechanisms of the "tree" it contains a high percentage of ethanol. The Fruit of the "tree" is a nutritious and red coloured fruit, and beyond the seed it carries and the antibiotic qualities of it which it shares with the fruit of the "moss" of Silverholt, little is exceptional of it. The Iron-bark tree as it has been created has been created to survive in arctic conditions and will have difficulty growing beyond its intended conditions.

- Action is difficulty 9, with a cost of 3 AP. Total domain bonus applied to the roll is +6. With Aurora's assist the domain bonus applied becomes +8, which means it automatically succeeds.

- Should have 18/30 AP at end of turn.

Assist the creation of Iron bark trees with +2 wisdom.
The trees will generate an intangible aura of Chi energy, inspiring the mortals who encounter them to delve into mindfulness and meditation. One may attain great spiritual strength simply by spending their free time reclined in the trees' branches.

Era Bloodwitch : 22/30 AP Location : Moondira Castle

Era awoke and groaned. She looked around and saw the room was empty. Moondira was quiet. She sat up and padded to the window .

"Ezaran! Where are you? " Era called out.

There was no response and Era began to worry. She paced the floor eagerly. Miranna came scampering in and she knelt before Era.

"My Lady, young Ezaran is gone." She whimpered.

Era gasped and roared out.

"HOW DARE HE! "

"M'Lady, he has left a small note." Miranna offered it to Era.
Era snatched the note and gazed at the small parchment in awe.

Dear Mother,
I am fine. I have gone off to see my father because you won't tell me anything about him. Therefore, I will travel until I find him.

-Ez

Era fell to the floor and began to sob. Slowly anger built in her. She stood up and called Miranna to her.

"Give me your hand" She hissed

Miranna held out her hand . Era took it and cut her palm with the stone ring around her thumb. Era turned her hand over and let the blood drip. Then Era sliced her own palm. Letting the blood drip and fuse, two large creatures began to rise from the ice. They were warriors ice.

"Find Ezaran! Bring him back to me! Go! " Era shrieked.

The ice warriors sprinted out in search for Ezaran. Era sat down and pinched the bridge of her nose.

"Just like his father." Era sighed.

Difficulty : 9 Town Action Cost 3 AP Creating one-off living sentient

These creatures have a ice heart and it beats until destroyed by intense heat. Their objective is to bring their runaway prince home.

Era hinders Bolts mind control spear with -2 ice. The ice will freeze the mind of Bolts victim, making the enchantment reach nothing but ice and reflecting off

Era hinders Leilanis Lovers Embrace with -2 blood magic. This causes the victims blood to cool down instead of heat up when confronted with desire. The lovers embrace cannot cause any form of arousal with freezing blood. The more Leilani tries to enchant a victim, the more their blood freezes over

Update written by Lily.

Gi'zeal
Ten guild boards appeared throughout the world with the main board residing in the city of Gi'zeal. These bounty boards caused people from all over to join in the hunt, obtaining prestige and money with enough time.

Ar'Guran
The crafting table appeared where Ar'Guran was working, having various tools for use to make the armors or weapons. The materials a person could obtain from within the forest. It would be used for many years.

Arora
Before they left on their adventure, Arora gave Ajax 100 Featherweights for him to use. She told him all the properties and benefits that they could give. Ajax would donate them for use among the Coven of Felissa when he returned.

Bolt
Bolt's spear was destroyed by the clash of divine powers in its creation. The resulting power ended up breaking the spear, shattering it into a million pieces.

Venari
Venari created a new type of tree, an iron bark tree. As the trees grew, it slowly had the properties of refined iron. That toppled with the sap being ethanol, made these trees very valuable. People from all over would come to use these iron bark trees for various purposes.

Taumel
The Dead Mother cutting off her hand for Taumel to enchant, gave it more meaning to the order. The hand, a gem now called the Black Hand, would bind anyone to the order for life. No one who had sworn the oath could not leave the order or mention anything about it to outsiders, as they would die if they did. Those who took the oath knew what they were getting into. The Black Hand gave benefits depending on the race, making the Black Hand a more capable and diverse organization than it was before.

Leilani
When Leilani was getting out of bed, leaving Nissa who was still sleeping, she found an object within the bed as well. She didn't remember any sort of object within the bed when Leilani and Nissa were busy having fun. It must have been something that was made while they were enjoying themselves. She would have to examine it more to see what it could do.

Era
Era created a species of Ice warriors, whose sole purpose was to bring their prince back home. They had hearts of ice that could be destroyed by intense heat, and soon they left Moondira in search of the prince.

Taumel - 13ap, 2mp - Jadedjinn River

The first days were spent at sea, simply sailing southwest of their home. The Banshee was glad to have been trusted with another divine mission. She had been chosen by the one true goddess to carry out this task. She would defeat any heathens that dare stand in her way.

They found proof of another civilization after a week of searching the coasts. A few simple huts on the beach and along a wide river leading further inland. The Banshee ordered the troops to split up. Some would lead a scouting mission along the river to see how long it was, most would do the journey by foot to deal with the inhabitants and the rest would stay to guard the ships.

The Banshee jumped off her ship. She wasn't as ecstatic as some of the others to feel the sand beneath her feet after being on a ship for the last days. She had gotten used to living at sea.

Her own warriors were quick to get into formation. The reefers needed to be encouraged by having orders shouted at them. Reuental joined the Banshee as she walked up and down their lines. There was no reason to wait long to attack as she saw no signs of serious defenses. The scouts would return eventually, but they could try to catch up to them in the meantime.

The inhabitants of the area were getting curious, clearly they hadn't had to deal with enemies if they stood and watched rather than fled. The Banshee ordered her army to march up the river, and to show mercy to no one.

A few days later, they arrived at the end of the river, or rather as far as they could walk. It had been a bloody few days, but she had lost few of her own warriors. The blood belonged to those who had inhabitated this area before. They had killed anyone they had found in their path, whether they resisted, fled or surrendered. She had gathered quite a bit of loot already due to that.

There was a massive waterfall in their path now. They couldn't possibly climb it. However, her scout had reported that there was a city behind the waterfall. They had surveyed the area and found many native Fey that climbed behind the waters.

They had made camp in front of the waterfall just the day before. Now she gave the order to enter the caves behind the waterfall. Her scouts lead the way as they made it inside. At first it was a wide tunnel leading deeper, but as they got to the end of that tunnel they found a massive cave with a large number of Feyeath living inside.

It was the first battle they had where they met any actual resistance. The natives must have known they were coming as they had cut a bloody path up the river. The natives couldn't put up a fight for long though, as her warriors swarmed into the cave and each one they managed to defeat was replaced with two more.

The Banshee knew she had captured a highly defensible area, much like Shipwreck. This area had a lot more natural resources though, and there were few directions any attacking army could come from. After the battle, they went around cleaning up any surviving heathens by putting them to the sword.

<spoiler=Jadedjinn River>

Jadedjinn river flows out into the sea from within the center of the land. It is wide at the sea, but grows smaller in width the further one follows it. There's a massive waterfall in the middle of it that makes passing through difficult. It is rich in resources such as food, minerals and wood.

Behind the waterfall is a tunnel leading deeper into the ground and into a cavesystem with a main cave that is large enough to support a city. There used to be Feyeath living in the area, but the Banshee's forces has since wiped them out and claimed it for their civilization.

Taumel - 13ap, 2mp - The Lucent Reef

The Dead Mother got to work with her oath binding gem almost immediately. The order had never been one to delay something that could be done right then, unless it was someone's death, in which case dragging it out with torture was a game. The Krakes were told what swearing the oath would entail before they swore it. There would never be any turning back.

To her surprise they all swore it, but she figured that was part of their greed. In death they would lose everything, in life they still had something, even if it was a selfless service to the reef, to the people and to their spirit guide's value.

Nevertheless, she was content to see so many potent new recruits in one day. They had been made trustworthy by the gem. There was nothing for her to fear from these. If anything, she needed to make sure that the old members swore the oath as well. A task that may be a bit complicated when some of them had sailed with The Banshee's fleet or to Shipwreck.

Kobra, 212

"'Heartfire Children's Orpha-'."
The beaver like male Mutar pointed for the benefit of his companions.
"You see it fellas?"
"Damn..." one among them muttered, drooping hound eyes scrutinising the wreckage from afar. "That's a good proper guttin' they's received!"
He's not wrong, Mr Beaves thought to himself grimly. Contrary to what the charred sign divulged, the place he was visiting on behalf of the Coven of Felissa was not 'Heartfire Children's Orpha-', but 'Heartfire Children's Orphanage for the Handicapped'. Not that there was much left of the place after it was, as Dogwood put it, gutted by the blaze that had ravaged this district of Kobra last night.
Beaves adjusted his cap with a sigh.
"This is going to be a long day..."
The Coven team pushed through the bustling crowd, dropping the occasional politeness as they jostled shoulder to shoulder with anxious-faced Kobran locals. The blackened remains of the orphanage poked out from between its neighbors like a single stunted incisor within its row of wholesome pearly whites. The reports seemed accurate; apart from the children themselves nothing had been spared the flames.
An old woman approached them from the house next door, greyed mouse hair unkempt and singed at the edges.
"Ah, you're here!" she called. "By Arora's silken bloody bodice I thought you'd never come!"
"Ma'am." Beaves greeted her with a doff of the cap. "I take it you got the notice? We're sorry about the delay, just needed to sort out this new asset our higher ups recently-"
"Yes, yes never mind." the woman waved him down. "I've set up the children in the pawn shop next door, but they can only stay s'long before poor Eckles loses his nerve over the little buggers. Stilton's already knocked over a vase with that damnable crutch of his! We gots to-"
"Ma'am, please!" Beaves placated, taking his turn at interruption. "Show the children outside. We can look after them while the volunteer builders go about their business."
Grumbling an anxious tirade to herself, the orphanage lady disappeared back into the Pawn shop.
Five minutes later the Coven team had cleared a space around the orphanage area, some setting to work on the wreckage while others, Beaves among them, watched the ma'am lead her children wards hobbling and wheeling out into the street.
"Here they are, sirs." she announced. "I hope you have a plan for- Stilton! Don't slouch! As I was saying, I hope you have a plan for housing these vagrant blighters."
"We sure do!" said Beaves, beaming a bucktoothed grin. "Gather round kids, you'll want to see this..."
The children drew nearer as the volunteer charity worker removed his cap with a showman's flourish, its decorative feather tracing the whiplash pattern of motion. Slowly, with a tension-building wiggle of the fingers, Beaves reached toward the hat's interior. First the hand disappeared inside... Then the wrist... Then the elbow.
Children gasped with amazement as the Mutar's entire arm vanished into the bafflingly small cap.
"Watch carefully kids, for you'll find no mind tricks being played here!" Beaves said as he began to slowly withdraw his arm from the bag. Another awed whisper rippled through the audience as they beheld an object in the man's hand; the top of some kind of pole. Further and further he pulled the pole, revealing more and more of its length until finally, at a height greater than the length of Beaves' whole body, the pole's other end graced their eyes.
"Thank you!" said Beaves as the children broke out into excitable chatter. "This pole's for the marquee you'll be staying in today. Do you know what that means?"
He leaned forward, suspenseful.
"It mean that there are nine more just like it sitting in my hat as well. Along with the canvas, picnic lunch, and the latest in Cinderwood lumber cuts taken especially from my friends at Harkongrad, which my friends here will use to make you a brand new home! Now..."
He held out the hat.
"Who wants to help unpack?!"
And so, for possibly the first time in history, children were seen to become genuinely excited at the prospect of helping to unpack a bag.

Harkongrad, 212

Janet of the Harkon works the upper Mu barge port, hefting barrels and lumber to and from the trade vessels, operating the crane, and generally slogging her way through an apprenticeship in engineering. Her shift finished half an hour ago. She now makes her way through the cobbled streets of her alpine valley town, passing through the square on the route to home.
Only this time, something catches her eye.
Maybe it's the crowd that piques her interest in the wall scale poster. Maybe it's the fact that said poster has been marked with the Lord Protector's seal that draws her into said crowd. Janet pulls together her concentration and limited literary practice to decipher the scrawled inscription.

CITIZENS!

YOUR LORD PROTECTOR CALLS FOR AID!

ABLE BODIED MEN AND WOMEN WANTED FOR SPECIALIST TRAINING!

NAVAL, EQUESTRIAN, BEAST TAMING, OR ENGINEER EXPERIENCE HIGHLY VALUED!

MAKE THE JOURNEY TO CRYSTAL LANDING TODAY!

BLESSINGS OF THE HEARTFIRE BE WITH YOU!
Maybe it was a foolish hope, but as Janet boarded the barge for the City of Gi'zeal later that evening she couldn't help but feel that tomorrow her life was going to take an exciting new turn...

Ar'Guran 12AP 1MP Breakopen Forest, Guran Fortress

Viera stands in the entrance of the selling rooms and watches as even now dozens of different people all crowd around different sellers and talk about what is better to use as a weapon and what kind of armor is better. Shaking her head sadly almost Viera walks in deeper and through a small crowd standing around one of the larger caves holding things to sell and an impressive supply of Claws. Stepping through as the crowd opens for her she picks up an ax and looks it over slowly before looking at the Nirn standing on the other side of the layed out weapons and armor and brings it down on the stone in an overhead strike.

The whole crowd and room jumps as the metal blade of the ax shatters on the stone and it becomes dead quiet as everyone turns to look at the horned woman and the now unnaturally pale Nirn who had jumped to his feet when Viera had swung the ax down. In the quiet that followed the shattering metal Vieras voice sounds much louder than it should as she whispers.
?14 different spirits have come to me in the last month, all of them telling me they were in the Hunt when their armor or weapon broke when being attacked from some monster. Every.. Single... one bought their equipment from your cave.?

Behind her 4 Jeri walk into the cavern and set up behind her looking at the now quaking Nirn. As he opens his mouth to dispute the claim Viera slashes her hand in the air and glares at him. As he chokes on something not there before the Jeri step forward and grab him, two dragging him from the room as the other two stay to take the things already bought and give the people back their claws. The rest of the still impressive pile is pushed into a bag as the things in the cave are inspected, the majority of them deemed to bad to use in other ways and destroyed. As Viera stands watching she turns sharply and walks over to another of the caves. This one was smaller but the things inside it had a look of masterwork even to her eyes.

Walking over and stopping next to the much smaller group that was here they all eyed her with a mix of interest and dread in case Viera called this one into Deritas also. She smiles lightly at them and looks back at the seller as he finishes with the one he had been talking to and turns to her. Viera nods at him before lifting one of the ax's from the pile. As she looks it over Hiero stays silent, his face and eyes showing supreme confidence in his wares. Glaceing at him Viera lifts it and bends her knees as she brings the ax down against one of the wooden breastplates laying out. Lifting the ax back into the air slowly she can see the ax had given the wood a notch but other than that had done nothing, while the ax was just as sharp as before. Viera says softly.
?You have amazing things, as always.?

Viera sets the ax back and runs her hand over the armor, the notch disappearing as she does. Hiero bows to her and smiles more as he lifts the ax and holds it out to her, saying with respect.
?Keep it, please. A gift from all of us.?

Viera narrows her eyes for a second before taking the ax and sliding it into her bone belt, one she had made after Skulldugery had been creates to replace him. Sliding the handle into it and setting her hand on it for a second Viera nods again and looks Hiero in the eyes.
?Thank you. I heard that you are the one who started this... rush.?
Viera's eyes flick over to the tall but thin stone tablet that had been carried into the middle of the cavern.

Hiero nods and reaches over to pet and feed one of the wooden dragons that had been sleeping in a small alcove in the side of the cave as he answers her.
?The Dragon gave us a place to honor him, I just gave the rest the words to understand.?
Hiero bows again.

Viera smiles and says lightly.
?As well as giving you all a market to sell to.?

Hiero smiles and shrugs his shoulders slightly.
?Well yes, but that is but a secondary response to this.?

Viera smiles slightly and turns to leave, pausing for a second to say to Hiero.
?I know you are the leader of this cavern, even if you all are so secretive I have had many years to ferret out some secrets. Make sure that none of the other sellers give out such... tainted things. Or I will have a much more serious talk with you.?

As Viera walks away Hiero keeps his pleasant expression till she and the Jeri have left before he spits a curse and stalks over to the neighbor of the one how had been taken. Grabbing him by the clothes and pulling him close, hissing at him low.
?What is this?! I told you to warn him about selling so much crap. Even if they leave and are probably going to die you cant give everyone a shitty thing because she CAN TALK TO SPIRITS.?

As Hiero says the last few words he shakes the one holding him as he tries to say back.
?I did warn him and all he said was he would slow down, how was I to know he was still doing it??

Hiero snorts and shoves the other Nirn back and glares at him before turning and walking back to his cave and goes back to selling his tools and equipment to those wishing to buy.

Ar'Guran slowly uncurls himself in the room he had taken to sleep in after making not only the nightmare hunt but his crafting table in the middle of it. As he had slept he had watched as dozens and maybe even hundreds of mortals had tried to get into the hunt and the back out again. So far 4 had, but 3 of those ahd stepped in gone 20 feet and ran back out after coming face to face with something. The only one who had gone deeper and gotten out and actually made it to the center but had left without making anything. The storys being spread about the Nightmare hunt had already stopped most from entering it as they knew that unless they were very sure of themselves they would die in the attempt.

Shaking his head and considering for a second he might have made the Hunt to hard Ar'Guran shakes his head and stands. His body still small he walks over to the wall and it melts down into an opening letting him walk through, which he does and goes looking for the leader of the Leonin in the here now.

200 years ago he would have pitted any of his leonin against the Hunt and bet on them but now they did not have the strength and power of the old, so he walked through the fortress till he gets to the cavern holding the Leonin of today and watches as they train and practice. The brutality of the training was impressive and he was glad for that. Walking in deeper and smiling slightly as they all snap towards him and bow warily but still keep an eye on him just in case he walks forward more and stops in the center. Looking around slowly and spitting on the floor before saying in a deep rumbling voice.
?You are all strong, but compared to your ancestors you still lack the power and brutality needed to truly keep the boarders safe. But, I think I will be able to help you.?

As the Leonin look at each other and back at Ar'Guran a few of them step forward and ask him.
?What can you do my lord??

Ar'Guran smiles slowly and lifts his paw, smashing it on the floor before slowly lifting it back up. The stone where he had spit morphing and becoming a rough stone cup that sits only 4 inches tall. Lifting his paw and holding one claw over the cup he lets some of his blood slowly fall and drop into it. Half filling it before stopping the Dragon looks around and smiles feral.
?Drink this, and gain power and strength unknown. Half of you will die probably but the other half will become several times stronger, better. Chose if you wish to use it, of continue on. Oh, and I am changing the rules for entering the Leonin, you must have survived the Hunt.?

All the Leonin and preLeonin in the room stare at him hard. The only one to survive the Hunt at all had been one of their number but they all knew that it had been more luck than skill in many places. Slowly they all look at the cup and take deep breaths before one of them steps forward. He was probably the smallest and physically weakest Kiesh in the whole room but he was also the fastest and in many ways the smartest with his memory. As he steps forward he reaches out slowly and takes the cup from the floor. As he holds the cup and slowly brings it to his mouth he stops and says with his lips almost touching the rim.
?This will give me power my lord??

Ar'Guran slowly nods.
?If you can survive.?

The Kiesh smiles at that and lifts the cup to tilt it back and takes a mouthful of it before freezing before coughing and almost dropping the cup. As it slips from his fingers and lands on the stone below he grabs at his throat an holds it as a scream tries to work its way up and out but seems to be catching on something. Ar'Guran looks down at him impassively before righting the cup and forming a stand for it at waist height and looking around. Turning the Dragon leaves, letting the mortals decide if they wish to drink or not.

?Yeah you named a city after him, what about her?? The Thaloc said as he kept on digging.

?well he died? Klaw told him.

?oh really a person died? what a shock? Thaloc said in a sarcastic voice.

Klaw grabbed him by the neck and screened ?IT?S NOT THAT HE DIED it how he died.it was the same day that the legend God Bolt disappeared? he then let him go ?if we can find out what killed him we may be able to get rid of Bolt for another 200 years?

The Thaloc picked himself up ?fine jackass but you reallystretching he..? He was then instructed by a howling

?Leave! please God leave!? A faint voice said deeper in the cave ?block the entrance and leave quickly as possible please!? it was a Kaish but he was covered in green ?please run?

Klaw looked at him and smiled ?I don?t know who you are but since I?ve been looking to kill someone today man ready your weap?.? His eyes shot open he saw a monster coming out of the shadows ?WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING?

when they saw that thing they started to run for the exit but the monsters footsteps caused the cave entrance to completely collapse

?NO! God dammit move the rocks NOW? Klaw yell trying to dig the way out but it was too late one by one the tentacles grabbed each and every one of them and pulled them into the monster's mouth.

As Klaw trembled in fear the kaish walked towards him and cried ?I?m sorry I?m so sorry?

Klaw looked at the Kaish and recognized him and saying his last mortal words ?My God! You looked like the great chieftain fang from the legends? followed by a lot of screaming.

Taumel and Gi'zeal- 20Ap 2MP ? The city of Gi?zeal

The note sent by Henrietta eventually reached Esther, after passing through a number of hands once they had found the bounty hunters in the trade barge. The bounty hunters were captured and taken to Shipwreck, where they were thrown into cells. Esther considered the options. Should she tell her grandma about this? Naaaah, she was busy with other matters. Esther had been made temporary leader of the island.

She had all the bounty hunters publicly decapitated the next afternoon, seeing as no respectable pirate was up earlier than that. There was a lot of cheering and ridiculing for each individual executed. Esther picked up a pretty Nirn head that fell at her feet. She had an idea then to visit this Henrietta who had such respect for her grandma.

Esther teleported to the city of Gi'zeal, where she used her powers to find the hideout of Henrietta. It took a while, but Taumel had made her the master of secrets, and no secret would stand in her way. She knocked on the vault door to the office, held up the head in front of her and went invisible. It was important to make a good first impression.

Henretita looked at the floating head of the bounty hunter she had floated out to the pirates it was pretty clearly lifeless but supported by some kind of magical force.
Jokingly she asked
"Here to claim the reward on yourself eh? good luck."

Esther faded into visibility, turning the head in her hands towards herself. "I have no use for gold." She moved the mouth and jaw of the head, then turned it back to look at Henrietta. "I'm dead."

She stepped into the office, sat down in one of the chairs and threw her feet up on a nearby table. Esther wore a bunch of necklaces around her neck, and almost as many rings on her hands.

"So I got your message, demigod of Gi'zeal." She looked around the room, seemingly more interested in the decoration than in Henrietta. "You know, I was there when they talked about ascending you."

This was intriguing, the sneaky bastard had kept his designs for her origin and intended role mostly in the dark. This new arrival could be very useful. but first things first.
"I hope found it to your liking. Now that would be very interesting, he does not seem the type to be public in his designs, who is this 'they'?"

"We had fun. Everyone cheered us on." Esther moved the jaw of the head again, as it looked at Henrietta. "You should have been there." She grinned as it might have been taken as a threat, even if it had been unintentional.

"I'm sure grandma would have enjoyed it as well if she had been there. The ever glorious leader of the Ghost Division is busy in other matters though, so I'm filling in."

"Well it wasn't like your secret place was public either." She said with a wink. "Just my creator and your creator."

Addressing the head Henrietta said with a smile, slightly forced her suspicions getting the better of her, "Well I'm glad your idiotic actions ended up bringing joy to so many
.Still a bit on edge she leaned back "it's a shame, I had hoped to meet with the banshee myself, she has quite the name around here. But matters of death and pillage come first of course"

Her eyes still narrowed she finished "No this place was very much not public, My creator was rather bamboozled with it for a time.... you mention a creator of your own, is your arrangment similar to my own? is there a god trying to pull your strings as well?"

"Haha, I wish." Esther snorted, and then rolled her eyes with a smile and a blush on her face. "Nah, my creator doesn't even want to be called that, thinks of herself more as a guide than anything and stays out of our business most of the time."

"She did inspire my grandma to become as violent as she is though. The Banshee, I mean." Esther placed the head on the floor. "Oh I doubt you'd want to meet grandma. I'm much more friendly and diplomatic-like." She batted her eyelids. "I'll actually give you a chance to open your mouth before I kill you."

Esther laughed heartily at her own comment, hoping she appeared just as imposing and threatening as they thought the Banshee was. "Besides, they wouldn't be able to find out your secrets without me."

Henrietta laughed back her divine power all that was stopping her voice from cracking as the awareness of family violence dawned. However The lady reassured herself, Esther was correct in that she was not her grandmother. she had hesitated far too long for your average psychopathic pirate, she negotiated and could be reasoned with and there was nothing wrong with a little bit of violent chaos in the correct direction "Sorry if I very much doubt that about your creator, perhaps she is just more subtle in her ways. I tend to keep few secrets, it pays to play an open hand when the gods are staring over your shoulder. However I can see many mutual intrests for us in the secrets of others, do you know of the Mucronomicon?"

"Hmm, maybe you're right." Esther smirked. "In either case, she's not obnoxious about her superiority, nor too controlling."

"I'm sure I could find or produce something of note." She winked. "Like how you send bounty hunters to pirates against the laws of your own region, yes?"

Esther put her hands together, which produced clinking sounds as the rings on one hand collided with the rings on the other.

"I've heard the name. I believe..." She had to focus for a moment, as it was a memory from years ago. Her father had taught her a lot about both the Mu region and the other coasts when she was a kid still in training. "Ah yes, I remember now. Why would such a book be of interest to us?"

"I wish I had one like that. Want to trade?" Said Henrietta although the thought of such a master of pirates was probably even less appealing than Gi'zeal.

Conversationally she said without much worry at the wink "The bounties are public, and legality is up for debate The laws of the Mu apply to the lands of the river of the same name, your bounties would be that of the sundered sea. You can take up with the tribune the philosophical conundrum of when a river becomes a sea" Henreita noted the rings with a smile "and as with all bounties the true law comes from she who pays, with the bank and the riches of a legend.... well I would like to see the Mu outbid us." Finally she added as a bit of a throwaway "I just thought the book worth mentioning, to a seeker of secrets, it seems to be the worlds largest supply and it's currently in the hands of a child"

"No, I do not." She answered, narrowing her eyes at Henrietta. She thought that Taumel was hers, but if anyone belonged to the other it would be vice versa.

"And this legend grows richer every day now, I imagine." Esther decided to keep quiet about the reason for that. They didn't need anyone to take an interest in their future territory when they were busy cleaning up the rabble.

"A child, huh? A child with divine support is no mere child. The business of my people can not be on the Mu region and its riches at this point in time. I'm all for getting my hands bloody, so it is a shame. Perhaps our shared immortality will give me an opportunity to read it one day."

"Perhaps, however I was not suggesting you take it by force, it would surely be suicide without proper precautions and almost certainly death even then. but the holder of the book is your elder in years only Naive and untested, I think she would be willing to share with a trustworthy face." Henreitta indicated the head and general intimidating pirate getup with a touch of humour "which with some considerable effort it could be your face"

Esther got a confused expression on her face for a brief moment. "I do have an army at my disposal, and it wouldn't be the first time someone's suggested we take this whole region by force." She waved the idea away with a dismissive motion. "As it is, we stand to gain more by doing it slowly and bleeding it dry."

Esther frowned when Henrietta supposedly made a humorous remark.

"No amount of superficial changes will change who I truly am, and always will be. A pirate, granddaughter of the seabeast every other pirate fears." She grinned. "I take it you would do the introductions? Either way, you still haven't told me what you want out of this."

"I doubt I would be the best to, you would have to seek her out yourself. the issue is she already doesn't trust me, I opposed her before I was 'chosen' by a god, what I want is a way to know how my accomplishments and misdeeds shape up in that book without having to go through her"

"I guess that changes the question. What do I get out of helping you? I could seek her out, but if the moment to read this book presented itself why would I read about you? There has to be a dozens secrets in there worth more to us."

Esther shrugged. "If that's the impression you've gotten of us... well, I'd like to see the definition of what you would call an organized force."

"I would welcome those secrets were they found but of course I only know of my own secrets in that book right now, I am not offering a deal here. Meerly pointing out that if you so wished the book was there within your grasp, and should you grab it, it would be up to you who you shared the information with. I am very interested in closer ties with ghost division in terms of calling them an army there is a certain loyalty between them but I must admit I've never seen them working towards a single goal. Were they to their power would be considerable. I will keep that in mind in future endeavours, for now I think we are done here, if you are happy with the bounty arrangement you will find an enchanted board for them in your city" as if closing up a meeting Henreitta indicated the vault door, mentally making a note that she should post personal guards at it.

"I thought you said you didn't have secrets?" Esther smiled. "Alas, everyone has secrets."

Esther was content with the bounty arrangement. Any bounty hunters going up against her people would surely find themselves on the board in Shipwreck, but the thought of putting politicians or diplomats on it seemed appealing as well when Henrietta told her to leave.

She thought about pulling a sword on the woman, but in the end she had most likely already gotten her point across by now. There was no need for further threats.

"Very well." Esther turned her back towards her as she walked to the exit, but stopped in the middle of it. "By the way, I left the rest of the gifts I brought back with me in your mansion I believe."

She began to walk again and laughed.

The pirate had been abrasive but if her attitude was anything to go by bounties on the sundered sea would be plentiful source of revenue and a good recruiting ground. she secretly hoped Sraker might come and try to put the little one in her place should the pirates get too bold, but she was certainly superior to the tribune. The meeting had left her on edge she left the vault hoping to make preparations so such an event would not happen again.

When she arrived home to find Gi'zeal standing in her manor staring at her bounty board knee deep in heads that he had made no effort to remove, the blood and the smell everywhere. It was too much, the stream of abuse she levelled at him, the pirate and the world would have been enough to cause a regular mutar physical pain. Instead from the god it only got a chuckle. Furious she stormed past him as he made some terrible quip about "earnings per head" and wrote his name at the top of the bounty board.
Once the pissed off diplomat had stormed off Gi'zeal continued reading, Goldeye emerged from where he had been hiding absentmindedly kicking a head, the seed turning in his hand. The greedy god read the strange words on the board under his breath

?Nithoggr?. Carnorabbits?. Claws?. What are these things. Who the hell is writing this??

Goldeye perked up the seed turning in his fingers ?oh that last one makes sense. Claws, I?ve killed dozens of those?

Letting it slide Gi'zeal said ?We should pay a visit to this board, collect a few of our better bounty hunters. This one is located in a rough area?
Thinking as he waded through heads towards the door Gi'zeal thought with a slight smile
what have you been up to for these 200 years corrupted one

Gi?zeal- 20Ap 2MP ? Zheler

The Emmisary left the great underwater city mildly disappointed, they had been unable to gain access to the great place. What?s more they had lost a fair chunk of their crew, many suspected they had tried to swim down for a better look and were claimed by the current, predators or even the citizens.
Thankfully the locals had been highly skilled in maritime arts, and many had relished the chance to explore the world, even the few mutes that spoke with their strange collection of hand signals.
Unfortunately none had wished to leave for a new home in the Mu and Gi'zeal, but they had learned of it?s location across the sundered sea be this for the good of trade or for? worse, given the pirate fleet they had seen upon arrival.
Kadai stood behind Robin at the wheel, his eye now highlighting their new destination. A place that promised to be even more wondrous than this one and hopefully more welcoming,
A gigantic golden tree hovered slightly above the horizon, Kadai could swear it was moving.

Bolt/Arora - Thucho'Iro Heights

Arora's talk with Venari, as well as all the sudden godly activity, had given her something of a reality check. For too long she had been focusing on the happenings of her locality. It was now time to venture out.
Ajax's holiday would be a good time to do this, but it would be wise to undergo a short scout prior to the venture. Genesis would be ideal, seeing as how it was in a highly active area of the world. She also had a few unanswered questions about the 'Emperor Bolt' of which she had heard, as well as questions pertaining to the action she had felt just recently.

ANYWAY, after all this internal conflict Arora explody-teleported herself directly onto Bolt's hill.

Bolt was working his magic on the spear when Arora exploded in "Holy shit" Bolt said as he was caught by surprise "is this what I'm like when I teleport in.

"You're probably even more alarming than I am, since you're bigger." Arora pointed out.

"Yeah well it's good to see you again" he then stop for a second and put his head down "Your here to ask about that aren't you."

"Oh don't be like that... I'm here because I haven't seen you in two hundred years!" Arora corrected him cheerfully, stepping forward and padding the god's shoulder. "Though there are certain things I've been hearing that could do with an explanation..."

Bolt looked at Arora "pro-tip: don't leave a powerful robot head were anyone could get it and use to inslave you people and best friend" Bolt then looked down "30 years Arora, it went on for 30 years...." He then started to cry "I still couldn't save anyone"

"So that's what happened! Oh dear..."
Arora leaned in closer to Bolt, putting her arm around him.
"You fixed it though, right? You caught the one responsible and made the Spear, that should fix things!"

"Try to but you guys didn't like the idea" Bolt said as he points to the broken bits on the floor "now I'm trying again."

"It failed?" Arora cried, shocked and indignant. "I put every piece of energy I possess into helping you succeed! Some powerful people must have taken offense. You can be sure Ar'guran was among them..."

Bolt ignored the statement about Ar'guran and said "Is their anything you need at the moment"

"Not right now, no..." said Arora. "What about you? You said you are trying again at the emancipation of Genesis? When it comes to eradicating slavery I am always willing..."

Bolt got up and said " A governor, Klaw has asked about opening up trade routes with other people to make up for the one we lost, I already have two and sadly that's the best I can do at the moment, all the other points would get us back in the slave trade or cannot reach by normal means "

"Is that so?"
Arora looked at Bolt with a pleased expression. "We are very far apart, but I may have means to set up reliable trade between Mucron and Genesis. My godson, Sraker, has plans that could reconcile nicely with your cause. What do you think of that?"

Bolt looked at her "what are you talking about?" Bolt said as he sat back down

"You claimed just then that it's not possible to set up trade with any more civilisations without resorting to distasteful measures. This is because, as you said, they cannot be reached by normal means. Normal means, Bolt."
Arora sat down next to the god. "What I'm saying is that Genesis CAN trade with Mucron; not through normal means, but through means that are very much abnormal. What these means are exactly I would rather not say, as Sraker would prefer things to be kept 'shrouded in secrecy'." She rolled her eyes, before leaning in closer to Bolt.
"I will say this however; it will work best if you have a volcano nearby... Do you have a volcano nearby?"

"Yes, but how would that help" Bolt said in a confused voice "I thought people ran away for volcanos"

"I'm not allowed to say. But trust me, with a volcano we can have trade. Mucron is a bountiful land, we will have much to offer your people."

"It going to be hard to convince my people to trade by volcano but I'll try" bolt said in a worried voice " maybe klaw can help me out with that.... well as soon as I can find him"

"Would you like help with that?" Arora asked, standing up. "This Klaw sounds like an enterprising sort of fellow."

"Yeah I guess" said as he got up "let's have him talk to you directly" bolt then started to workout side

Arora followed behind Bolt, looking around at the landscape as she did so.
"So what did happen to the so-called Emperor? I have heard from my people that he died?"

"Well I give him to the...." before bolt could finish the sentence they saw a Thaloc running towards them. "SOMEONE HELP!"

"What's happening?" Arora demanded, suddenly floating off from the ground and darting through the air to settle directly in front of the panicked mortal, hair and silks swishing at the sudden stop as if hit by a breeze. "Is there a problem?"

"We were digging a cave to the side when a monster appeared I was the only one who made it out but the others" the thaloc said as he started crying. Bolt was curious why a thaloc was digging in his land but all he could think about was kicking some monster ass " I'm coming you robotic fucker!" Bolt said as he ran towards the cave wall, smashing it and breaking through

Arora lifted off into the air once more so that she could zoom after him. Her mind cleared, focusing on its inner Chi so that she could kick ass better. Her eyes glowed white hot.

"Alright bring it on yo...." that all Bolt could say before being smacked back by a tentacle causing him to fly like a bullet outside of the cave and towards Arora

"Oh my-" was all she managed before the hulking figure collided with her, sending them both tumbling straight back out of the cave.
Arora resumed her floating pose as soon as she could, though its effect was now somewhat marred by a disorientated wobbling. She began to move back towards the hole Bolt had smashed.
"Show yourself!" she shouted, right hand rippling as a pulsing orb of flame formed in its palm.

The monster walked out of the cave his mouth oozing green slime it's body stretching and growing 4 times it size (about 60 feet tall) it yelled at the top of it's lungs

Arora cupped the flame orb in both hands, allowing it to swirl and grow, charging up like a rolling ocean wave. With a grunt of exertion she suppressed the blast, holding out for a moment longer until finally it overcame her. The flame orb leaped from her grasp like the projectile of a ninja, lancing up as a comet would and into the repulsive creature's slime-filled husk.

The thing screamed in pain. the monster then produced a big bang of light that blinded everybody, then It shank down and went back into the cave as quickly as it came out.

Bolt laid on the ground with stars over his head "Mommy give me five more minutes"

Arora fell back down to earth, exhausted. Barely able to stand she had to rest her palms on her knees as her chest rose and fell, breathing deep, recovering strength.
"Wait... Wait here..." she panted at Bolt, staggering back towards the cave. "I'll find your friends..."
Stepping inside she rekindled flame in her hand, holding it up to illuminate the interior.
"Klaw?!" Arora called. "Is anyone in here?!"

They was nothing but slime left behind by the monster not a single soul was there

"Oh dear..." she breathed.
The goddess bent down, scooping up a smidgen of slime on her forefingers for closer examination.

As she was looking at the slime it tried to consume her hand

Recoiling in disgust Arora ignited her hand, burning off the invasive substance. She cast her gaze across the rest of the tunnel, her anger growing with each square section of slimed stone she beheld.
"Reprehensible gunk... Away with you!"
Both hands exploded into flames, spraying forth from her body in the manner of a flamethrower. She swept the expulsion in a wide arc, attempting to incinerate as much of the stuff as she could before leaving to return to Bolt, eyes ablaze.

Bolt got up from the ground, looked at Arora and ask her "WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT! THAT DIDN'T LOOK LIKE A ROBOT!"

She did not answer. When next she spoke it was with quietened words heavy with regret,
"Bolt... There's nothing left in the cave. I could not find Klaw or any of his companions."

Bolt stood there for a few seconds then walk to the thaloc "We will talk about this later just get this guy home for me OK"

Arora nodded silently, walking to the Thaloc and taking it by the arm.
"Come, I shall escort you home." she told him.

"We will talk about this later" Bolt said as he started to walked back

Taumel - 11ap, 1mp - The Lucent Reef

Taumel was pleased that one of the other's attempts to create another unnecessarily powerful item had failed, especially when it had been a weapon. However, she doubted it would stop any of them from trying again as soon as they got the chance. She had her amulet, but if they were making weapons she should prepare to defend herself.

She would make a tool of pure destruction, but to be able to wield it one had to prove themselves worthy to the weapon itself. Once it had picked its wielder no one else could wield it, until the owner died or surrendered the weapon.

Anyone who was unworthy would find a massive weapon too heavy to even lift. Anything that came in its way would be cut through or crushed. One of the sides would be an axe, the other a hammer. It would be massive, crude and frightening.

<spoiler=Action>Difficulty: 13 Regional Action Cost: 5 AP
-Forge a +1 Magic Item
[+1] Destruction. Create a weapon able to destroy anything, and give it the ability to pick its wielder based on their minds.

+4 Psionics. The weapon picks it owner based on the qualities of their personality and mind.
+2 Knowledge. The wielder gets knowledge of how to use it properly.
+2 Evolution. It evolves to fit its owner.
+2 Secrets. Keep it a secret.

Arora - 9 AP, 2 MP - Isla Maranga'nawe, 212

Sraker's plans had been well and truly initiated by the time Arora was back from Genesis the next day.
She'd arrived to find the barren slope of the volcano, the one opposite to Crystal Landing that looked out over the open sea, absolutely crawling with insectoid behemoths. Mutar of various expertise from all across the land occupied themselves with the study and adjustment of these first generation rockroaches. Some took their measurements for harness design purposes. Others tempted them with plant and meat products, attempting to glean insight into their diet before they got too hungry. A few, headed by Sraker, even thought to attempt taming the volcanic beasts.
A couple of the latter were already recuperating from extensive burns in a hastily erected nursing tent.

Presently, however, Arora had turned her attention away from the first generation. It was what currently swam in the volcano with their queen which interested her, and as luck would have it one of the mortal engineers agreed with her.
A wealthy looking Mutari man with proud dromedarian features, this Ishmael Kobald. His eyes, drooped with a wholesome wreathing of lashes, studied the goddess as she studied the schematics he had drawn up.
"You're sure this can work?" she asked, softening the doubt she cast with a reassuring upward glance from the parchment. "Not the design itself, I have no concerns there, but the whole concept is rather... Outlandish in the first place, wouldn't you say?"
"My lady goddess..." Ishmael began, his eloquent speech betraying no hurt or, thankfully, uncertainty. "Not only have I spoken at length with the Lord Protector about his wondrous larvae creations, but I myself have devoted hours to collecting first hand observations. As long as I could withstand the heat I have watched these creatures. I am confident that our deepfreight project can work, especially with you adding the final touches."
Arora was satisfied with this. The man had clearly done his homework.
And even so, with a bit of devine intervention almost anything could be made to work.

9 DC: create 10 heroic items known as deepfreighters using +4 love (doing it for the betterment of her people and Bolt's), +2 wisdom (despite the strangeness, the intent of the action has sensible reasons), +2 courage (a pioneering feat of travel requires bravery to attempt), and +2 earth (the earthen nature of the construction and intention). Overall +10.
These items will be, in essence, large transport pods. Each is the size of a Viking longship and made from a silvery smooth, elliptical metal casing. They have two hatches at the centre of mass, one on either side.
The properties of the deepfreighters would be thus:
- almost indestructible exterior that defies the effect of any external extreme conditions on the interior cavity. This includes the seal of the two hatches.
- a constant Chi field flowing within such that when external conditions become too hostile, anything shut inside the pods enters a state of suspended animation.

These pods will be attached to the rockroach larvae in functionally similar way to how carriages are attached to a horse. They will then be able to pull the pods through the centre of the earth, creating a small system of subterranean transport routes for travel and trade.

Assist Bolt's item creation with +2 wisdom (due to awareness feature being added).

Give it the same effects as described in last round's assist of the same item.
