Ailish

She noticed the garden's conception in the back of her mind; she had felt a joy subdued by the fact that its creation was in purgatory. But the garden did resemble to Ailish another way to open a way back to the heavens. At first the only road was to commit an act so unthinkable that it would break purgatory's grasp; its power was dependent on keeping the hearts and minds stagnant, but with the forest came the idea of deceiving the prison's grip.

There were stories - sometimes happening before their eyes - about people who found themselves lost, and then taken to an entire new world. The forest would provide the groundwork, but there was still much work to be done.

"I'm called Roe, I'm new."

The features on Ailish's face softened to a small frown, and her mind snapped back to the present with the little soul.

"What's your name miss? Do you need any help?"

Her eyes filled with hope. Could it be?

"I am Ailish. It's nice to meet you Roe, and I think you?re more powerful than you believe." She had smiled at him. "The world is beautiful Roe, but the heavens remain closed to us. Could you help me in reopening it?"
I don't know how many action points I should take off. Apologies.

Nivix - 23, 2

As Maskelyne finished his performance and shared his name, Nivix couldn't help but feel a certain sense of... something that wasn't quite awe, but was certainly stronger than simply being impressed. The pose that the cape-clad creator struck, the perfect cadence of his words, the shadows cast upon him by the titanic flock of doves as they momentarily eclipsed his star. All of these impressions and sounds combined into a single sensation, an undefinable emotion that flooded Nivix's veins.

"But tell me, Nivix my brilliant audience, if I may not take inspiration from your child Niv, where must it be found? Your creations excites me. My creation bewilders and enchants. I wonder what we may accomplish in tandem, your genius and mine united for a common goal. Perhaps from thence inspiration may flow? After all, it would be neither mine nor yours, but ours. And we might share it with creation."

Nivix remained silent as he pondered Maskelyne's words. It was true that, alone, they had both given birth to fantastic creations. His own Niv, which had brought light and heat to the void, and the incredible stream of doves that flew here and there, their endless ranks ever shifting and changing, never remaining still for even an instant.

And if they had formed both of these awe-inspiring things separately, then what could happen if they combined their talents?

"Won't you take my hand brother? I cannot steal your cooperation. nor your friendship. It must be volunteered."

It took Nivix slightly less than a millisecond to make his decision.

A slap echoed throughout the sea of oblivion as Nivix eagerly took Maskelyne's proffered hand in his own. A massive grin nearly splitting his face in twain, the immortal gave his response the only way he knew how: with far too much force and volume.

"And volunteered it will be!" came Nivix's reply, echoing throughout the vastness of the nullity. "Yes, let us fill this emptiness with something grand! Let us replace this dreadful, tiresome emptiness with blessed substance and light, and fill it with excitement!"

Releasing his companion's hand, Nivix twirled around in midair, flames burning in his eyes as he scanned the boundless confines of his canvas. "Yes, brother! Your words have only amplified my enthusiasm; help me to realize just what we are capable of!

"But then again," he said as he suddenly stopped spinning, his tone calm and thoughtful. "Maybe we should first examine what our other companions have created." Pointing a finger at the halls that had been birthed by their fellow immortals, Nivix beckoned to Maskelyne with his other hand. "Who knows, perhaps they too might be able to help us in our quest."

Eldarwen wasn't sure that joy was the right word, as she had a vague sense of that feeling from long ago. It felt stronger, made her less annoyed with the others.

"Perhaps you could do what you did here to the planet? I feel we can do much more than just this and..."

She froze up when he suggested that she should create forests on the planet. There must be something else she could do for now, forests were part of her, of who she was. Her own roots found a resting place in this tranquil forest and she could feel every tree, grass and flower if she wanted to. She hoped this garden would remain the same.

Eldarwen could see impressive structures being raised in the garden, all created by other gods and maybe that would stop them from destroying it. Mortals shouldn't come here, as had been suggested, life on the planet would mean they didn't need to.

"I think I have a greater purpose for us than a home...we are to make more creatures that are like us...but not the same. We need to try. Perhaps while our friend makes plants, we can work on creatures to inhabit the planet! Then I can finish the masterpiece...the masterpiece of...sentience."

Already she could feel how tainted her creations would become if she was to play along with them, while they created life. No wait, it was much more of a tangible feeling. Someone was wilting her plants, when she noticed the god doing it, she glared at him and made new flowers and grass rise in their place. He began playing in the mud like a child instead. It surprised her and she left him alone, for now, likely influenced by the love in the air. Oh, that must be the word for what she felt. Why did it feel so unfamiliar then?

Eldarwen would create her own race, just like the rest of them. She wouldn't be the one to start the creation of life with her forests.

"I am not about to sow the first seeds for your abominations, only to watch them destroy my children. While plants and forests are an important part of life, it is not the only ingredient that you will need to create life on that oversized rock. However, I will aid whoever wants to be the one to create the rest."

She did want to give birth to her own race, unlike last time, when they had created her. They would be birthed from the trees themselves, to walk forth and... She wasn't sure yet.

M'endaxius - 27/30 AP, 2/2 MP

It looked like M'endar had found a friend, or rather he had found M'endar. It looked to be another hooded dark figure, but instead of M'endar's ever shifting face, it was all smiles. The man must have been planning something or was genuinely pleased to see another new god. M'endar was happy as well, it could see that the cliques and clubs had already formed and that none of them included M'endar. But the Aask needed to be created and he was still in the process of creating them. The tree woman scowled at it and its effect on the garden and producing some more flowers to replace the rotten ones. But all of that was ignored by M'endar as he concentrated on forming new life.

"Greetings M'endar. I would like to offer you a tour inside the library of the gods. If you are interested that is."

"Yesss." M'endar replied, finished with shaping its the new life.

It wasn't certain of what the other shadowy figure wanted, but it was nice to be wanted all the same. The Library of The Gods looked impressive, it towered over the forest would be the vault of all knowledge for the gods. But beside it was a den of villainy, the Hell Court. M'endar wondered which god had created that. In fact, why create something here at all? The only home for M'endar was chaos and darkness, but none would be found here. Perhaps M'endar would create one for itself. But not here, no. Somewhere more private, that was what M'endar needed. Away from the eyes of others, so it could watch and wait. A place that would deceive others, a place with M'endar at the centre of it all...

Tsuranote 23 AP - 2 MP

The Gracious Lord watched as his fellow Gods created things around him, pondering what he could add to creation himself. Perhaps he could create his own place, like the Goddess Eldarwen with her beautiful Garden or Methanos and his Library? A place of his own like that... It would have to be a place of Strength! ... Or of Joy! Yes! Who out there would not appriciate a creation of joy?

It would be a Grand Hall, filled with entertainment of all kinds! A place for everyone to enjoy themselves, a place of laughter! No one would shy away from it, and no one would be able to resist the joy of the Hall. It would be joy itself! He would put all of his heart into it's creation, for what creation of joy could be created without the creator having joy in making it so?

Tsuranote clapped his hands together, creating a loud bang as he did. "Friends! Allow me to create a wonderful present for all of you, a place of enjoyment for everyone!" The Flame-God shouted aloud, announcing what he was about to all. With that he began to focus on creating the Hall, flowing all the joy he could muster into it.

Seith, 23, 2

Seith was sitting in the garden, gathering followers for the next major project. This would be very important, as while a house was nice and all, making more creatures seemed to be why they were here. Which was why he was disappointed that Pentar had left him alone, leaving him to talk to the plant creature and Vantric.

"Seith, I couldn't help but overhear your new project. I would help you with it."

"So be it, I would hope we would all participate in this. What is it you wish to make?"

Seith then turned to the plant creature, already relenting over something that isn't a plant being in the planet. She seemed to refuse to make more of them. This perplexed Seith and he hoped to bring her to his side.

"I am not about to sow the first seeds for your abominations, only to watch them destroy my children. While plants and forests are an important part of life, it is not the only ingredient that you will need to create life on that oversized rock. However, I will aid whoever wants to be the one to create the rest."

"Your purpose seems to have something to do with vegetation and forests, yet you wish to be a bystander in your own domain? Strange. I am aware you are worried that our creations would damage your forests somehow, but keep in mind that a constant state of sameness would only cause stagnation and it is through change that the world will continue to be interesting. I know it is a leap for you, but please stop and reconsider your standpoint, lest you end up regretting a lack of involvement in the planet later. You could be of great help in that area after all, nobody else would want to manage it."

Seith had been so pre-occupied however, that he had not noticed the disturbance in the garden...at least not for a while. His brother had arrived and was already causing havoc on a small scale. Seith remembered being a part of that chaos...how his brother came out first...how he was filled with the destruction and hatred of the chaos. This was made all the worse by the fact that he was now sending something to the new planet, upon further inspection, Seith found that it was a black blob, not unlike what they were born of and it was filled with malice. This was unacceptable.

Seith decided to let his brother send them, but after M'endar had left with the other gods, Seith changed their inner structure. He attempted to overwhelm the corruption with enlightenment and change them to be more pure. He attempted to make them slightly larger but most of all, he tried to make them intelligent beyond that of what the other races would receive, he would remove their taint and make them a blessing to the other races that would soon populate the planet, instead of a curse.

Seith is attempting to purify and grant sentience to the black blobs that M'endar sent to the planet. (Interfere with his roll)

Vantric: 23,2

"So be it, I would hope we would all participate in this. What is it you wish to make?"

Vantric gave the matter some thought. Sentient life, certainly not a matter to be taken lightly. They would be a people fashioned after his own virtues: cunning, ambitious, industrious. There would be a raw drive to succeed burned into them, and they would have the ability to do so.

Vantric noticed that one of the others he hadn't noticed before, it seemed to be another hooded figure, different from the first. It wandered onto the garden, away from where the three of them were currently standing. The other then proceeded to curiously touch the new plants and instantly caused them to wither and decay. It bent down and scooped up some mud, seemingly intent on doing...something. The creature's actions were incomprehensible to Vantric, though he supposed part of that was owed to its recent introduction to existence.

This seemed to annoy Eldarwen almost as much as Seith's suggestion that they create sentient life.

"I am not about to sow the first seeds for your abominations, only to watch them destroy my children. While plants and forests are an important part of life, it is not the only ingredient that you will need to create life on that oversized rock. However, I will aid whoever wants to be the one to create the rest."

Curious. Vantric couldn't understand why the woman cared so much for plants, they were just lower-level life forms. Then again, he couldn't understand many of his new companions, likely they had their reasons for acting such as they had, though the reasoning escaped him. He took a look around to see what the others were up to. It seemed that Zareth was busy in his new creation, a small and fairly unimpressive structure. Nivix and the other new one, he believed he heard the name Maskelyne mentioned, seemed to be deep in conversation and getting along well. Pentar seemed to be doing the most interesting thing of all of them, Vantric was somewhat taken aback by the large black structure the other god built. It certainly didn't look like a place of justice or order or whatever else Pentar was prattling on about. Another development worth looking into, Vantric thought.

When he looked back, Seith seemed preoccupied with something else, and Vantric decided to let him be. They'd meet back up later to discuss the creation of life. For now, Pentar's Court seemed to be something that demanded his immediate attention.

Vantric entered into the Court and was surprised to see that there were others in there. They were shorter than the gods, red-skinned and with horns. The horned creatures, Vantric knew, were not part of the original design. Where had they come from, what was there purpose? He wanted answers to all these questions, and it wasn't long before he found the man who could provide them. Pentar had altered his avatar to communicate with the beings who now populated his Court, he was now shorter and had grown a pair of horns himself. He was busy talking with one of his new underlings. Vantric decided to interrupt, he made his own form visible and appeared behind Penar. "Interesting Hall of Justice you've created, Pentar. I very much like the decor."

"I am Ailish. It's nice to meet you Roe, and I think you're more powerful than you believe."

Ailish smiled at Roe and he flashed his glow brighter in return, before then having a better idea. He'd seen that most of the other gods had humanoid forms and decided it'd be best he took on something similar, at-least until he could settle on a final form. He transformed his point-like shape into a small bipedal figure composed entirely of dancing flames, the ghost of a grin just about visible somewhere inside his fiery head. He hopped up and down a couple times with his new legs, it felt good. Presently Ailish caught his attention again.

"The world is beautiful Roe, but the heavens remain closed to us. Could you help me in reopening it?"

Roe nodded eagerly, ready to help the lore god.

"Tell me what to do!" he said excitedly and started hopping around again, he had a feeling this was going to be fun.

Ailish 2, 30

"Tell me what to do!"
A smile came upon Ailish's face again.

"Let's begin by creating a special gate in the garden, one that opens when you are lost." She calmly instructed to Roe, a hand gesturing to a small patch of green.

"In the meantime Roe, I must seek the garden?s creator for her blessing. If she can help, the heavens will be all the more open to us. I shall see you again soon." With that Ailish wandered in the garden until she came upon the green woman once more. In this garden - a place that would render up unto down - great energies could be tapped, and purgatory's grasp could loosen. The goddess' inability to find her in this land assured her that it could work; if one could find where you were here, then it would be just as easy to find yourself in another land. Eventually Ailish found the creator, and came to her as a beggar.

"I plead you for your blessing. Your garden is beautiful, but your creation could be my only hope to reopen the heavens to us. But it must grow further. Could we open the gate here please? I would feel honored if you would."

Pentar 22AP 2MP

"Interesting Hall of Justice you've created, Pentar. I very much like the decor."
Pentar whirled around to face the other God. "Vantric!" Pentar exclaimed. "What are you doing here?" He cursed himself for not bolting the door shut. Now Vantric was wise to the true nature of his creation. "And the snark is not appreciated. True, the hall did not come out exactly as I intended, but my effort was not completely fruitless." He beckoned towards the creatures, who were starring at the Gods in confusion. "I've created these beings. Look into their minds and you will see that they are fully self aware, like you and I, though on a much more primitive level." Pentar hoped he could play this off as a success; after all, an achievement made on accident is still an achievement.

Melanthios 23AP, 2MP

"It would be my honour." Melanthios smiled when he heard Zareth say that. He was sure that he was near the library waiting for them. "Yesss." M'endar said. Melanthios was happy to hear that. "Good then please follow me." Melanthios began flying towards the library. He didn't see Zareth anywhere, he wondered why he wasn't there. Maybe he had decided that he didn't want to come after all?

Melanthios opened the door of the library, revealing the room inside, he turned around to M'endar. "Welcome in the library of the gods." He said gesturing around. He closed the door behind M'endar and locked it, he didn't want anyone interfering. "There are 10.000 different sections in the library, all of them filled with books. Most of the books are empty, only section 1 has written books yet. The other books are all empty." Melanthios looked around, he then gestured to M'endar to follow him, he began walking towards a nearby resting place. He had built numerous of these places for people to read together or to take a break from learning.

He spotted Zareth sitting around the fireplace, this brought a smile to his face. "So there you are, I wondered where you had gone off too." Melanthios looked at both gods and then continued. "M'endar this is Zareth, Zareth this is M'endar." Melanthios had never introduced people to each other before. It felt strange, but it gave him a good feeling.

With that, where the other hooded figure went, M'endar followed. Flying through the air towards the towering structure that was the Library of the Gods. It mostly nodded to what the figure said. It was curious, for the supposed vault of knowledge of the Gods, it was filled with empty books. But that was not what they were here for. They walked to a little place with chairs and desks where another god was sitting, the flickering of the flames was reflecting all around, giving light to the darkness. Speaking of which, it felt the mud in its hand squirm, but there was something wrong about it. M'endar just clenched its teeth and turn to its own thoughts, almost missing the introduction the cloaked figure was giving. It latched onto one name, Zareth, but the name of the person who introduced them was still unknown. This irked M'endar, but the situation would be resolved with a simple question.

"And who, Knower-Of-Names, are you?" M'endar replied after briefy giving a short bow to the other one.

Seith 23,2

Seith had planted his seed in the blobulous creatures and as they landed, they would be altered, changed from their original purpose into a new, better purpose. One that could spread knowledge instead of plague, and they would know it was Seith, not his brother that gave them this express purpose. Changing their anatomy was unnecessary and unneeded, so Seith did not. They would still clean the world, but the manners in which they did would improve. They would be experts at doing it efficiently, wisely and with a passion.

Seith was happy with the life being sent. Something else was rotten in the state of Denmark however, Pentar and Vantric were arguing. Seith had seen that Vantric wanted to talk, but instead left to bother Pentar, Seith was afraid they would kill each other. He rushed into the hall and upon seeing the two slammed the door shut behind him.

He stared for a while, looking at the red skinned beasts for a moment. He had a poor impression of them, he felt them to have the same evil as his brother, but perhaps sent in a different manner, one less chaotic and more...lawful. Seith was as interested as he was disgusted and finally broke the silence. He spoke in a booming and scathing voice.

"Pentar...do you realize what you have created here? These beings though lawful, are of an evil nature! Damn it, they will seek to spread tyranny, not justice! Is this what you had intended? If it is I need to discuss something with you, if not then perhaps I can aid you in removing these...creatures."

Eldarwen - 18 AP, 1 MP

Ailish, who had helped her with the garden, came begging her for help with creating a gate to the heavens. She believed that being indebted to any of these gods was bad, at least until she found out who would be allies and enemies, so she spun her staff around and two trees formed a circle. She put a spell on it, one to stop whatever stepped through the portal from causing any harm to her garden.

"Ask and you shall receive."

Seith was wrong and she did not like him. Eldarwen left without another word aimed at him and began moving through the garden. Another god exclaimed that he would create a place of entertainment, and she moved a few trees for him to work with, not in a way that harmed the trees, but rather so his place would become overgrown and have a true sense of beauty and happiness.

The oversized rock which they called a planet caught her attention. It was possible for her to create forests on it, but why should she? It was one planet in a void with one star. How could that be considered worth wasting her precious plants on? No, it was not. They needed more planets.

The garden seemed to go on forever, and just outside of it was emptiness. It was then that it struck her, a brilliant idea, one who would solve her problems. The mortals the other gods created in their vain attempts to bring life to the planet would never be able to consume all of it. The lone star would stop burning and kill them all before it happened. She would remain, with the garden, and have the chance to do it all again. The other gods had created one planet, and now they wanted her to create a forest for their creations. Apparently, the one they were already standing in, was not enough to satisfy their greed. She did not care if she spent the rest of eternity in this garden, without ever using her powers again. The monotony of such an existence was preferable to the evolution of abominations who would destroy her children.

"Do you want forests!?" She screamed at the void with her arms stretched out, but was certain it could be heard throughout the entire garden as well. "I will give you forests!"

Eldarwen took a firm grip around her staff with both hands, before ramming it into the ground. The Tranquiline Gardens shook, violently, as if threatening to break from the impact her staff had on it and undo all the gods' hard work. The eyes of the treemother burned brightly, what had just been a faint blue spark a moment ago, was now a raging inferno as she poured all of the magic she could bring forth into her staff.

The shaking of the garden grew into an earthquake, as pieces of the garden plane broke lose and floated up into the air. The glow in her eyes had begun to engulf her body, as if she was trying to outshine the star itself. The blue fire surrounding the Queen of Nature, spread towards the pieces of her beloved garden, creating strings of magic between the source and them. They began growing rapidly.

Eldarwen raised her staff above her head. "Thus the queen maimed her firstborn, to set budding more." When she spoke sparks were thrown at the void from her mouth, as if she was spitting magic. The shaking had stopped, but above the garden several large platforms were suspended.

The original pieces had been torn away from her first creation, but these would become more than that. They would become her victory over mortals. Why should she have to fear creatures that had not entered this existence yet? They would fear her, not the other way around. Perhaps they would think that cutting trees down would be tolerated, and certainly the other gods would prevent her from exterminating any race that as much as tried, but this would be more than they could handle. Especially with the treemother around.

She only needed to throw them into the void, and watch life evolve. Her own race would benefit greatly from this, no doubt about it. The kami would be proud of her, for all of her life as their princess she had never been given the opportunity to do as much for nature, as she now did in one blow.

"Eld." The staff was swung, sending one of the platforms away from its origin, and she watched as the second born traveled through the void and grew until it became planet sized. "Arwen." The next platform moved in the opposite direction, but growing all the same into a planet. "Shizen." The third left the nest and flew away from home, to fulfill its purpose.

Those would be the three first planets, and the only ones she would name, for surely the discoverer of the remaining ones, could name them for her. It was a joy she would grant them, as she lacked the creativity to think of names for them all.

There were still many platforms hanging above the garden. None of the structures of the gods had taken any damage, but she had not intended them to either.

"Season of darkness and fruitlessness, be gone, henceforth I will be the gardener of this universe. The guardian of the fauna, when the beasts whistles for aid in their moment of destruction, I shall be there. The champion of the spirits in my own realm, come corruption, come fire, come evolution, I will not falter."

So it was said and so it would be, until the cycle had to begin anew. With a final push, she sent them all flying into the void. The planets of this universe would all have an abundance of forests and plants. They needed sunlight to grow, but once they started to grow there would be no stopping them. Technology be damned.

Eldarwen fell forward, and landed in the lovable grass. The holes left after the creation of celestial bodies, were filled with dirt and mud, but at least she could fill them with new life.

Seith 23, 2

Seith was able to multi-task quite well and this aided him in not only approaching a conversation with Pentar and Vantric, but at the same time appreciating what Eldarwren was doing. She had considered his advice and then taken it to its logical extreme. There would be forests everywhere. Seith knew he could help and add a tiny bit of structure to ensure this endeavor would succeed.

Seith could see the trees, some taller than others and while yet unnamed, they would work fine for this miracle. The sun began shining directly at them, not burning but giving them feelings, giving them hopes dreams and sentience that only Seith could bring. Their roots undid themselves and became bi-pedal ways of movement. The trees could command other plants to act in ways but were not tyrants, they were benevolent and wished to help foster care for the forest. They also knew who had given them form, and who had given them sentience. They appreciated both gods and would give both prayers. They were the ents.

Their forms were that of normal trees, but they had eyes with which to see, though not quite normal eyes, their eyes were a bright blue and luminescent. Their magics cast a glow that which was similar to Seith's own glow. The ents were a perfect hybrid between the two gods and Seith hoped they would help foster an alliance in the future, a friendship showing the plant goddess that perhaps the others could be trusted, that they wished to help and that common ground could be made.

He sent her his voice. "I am glad you chose to help. I have aided your creation as this isn't able to be done alone. Consider them a gift to help ease your discomfort with mortal life."

Add +12 to the forest planets, through this the tallest trees have been made into Ents.

Zareth 30, 2

"A pleasure to meet you." Zareth nodded at M'endar. He was about to join their conversation when he was shaken from his peace by a wave of power and fury washing over him.

"Thus the queen maimed her firstborn, to set budding more."

With that he rushed from the library like a grey wind. The sight that met him was so awe inspiring it would have struch a mortal heart dead. Eldarwen Had summoned forth all of her divine power, rending her garden apart and from its fragments was forming worlds. Blue flame was engulfing her slender form as their freshly made court shook so violently it felt as if it were about to split asunder and swallow the nature queen in its death throws. This is too much.

Zareths form took on its pale light and he threw out his own will. in its rawest form, against the tide of creation, hoping to stabilize the energy before it destroyed everything around it. His efforts seemed to have the desired effect, but not in the way he had anticipated. As his energy met Eldarwen,s instead of merging with it as he had expected it seemed to clash with hers. dousing the fire of life like the sea battling an inferno.

You have doomed them. A voice that was not his rang out in his mind. You begin to understand now, don't you? You are not like the rest... you can never bring the light that they can. Such is your purpose.

And the echo faded, as if it never was. Still he couldn't ignore what he had heard... that voice. It was the one from his birth, the one that had filled him with knowledge.

The experience left him cold from head to toe but he managed to regain his senses. Seeing Eldwaren fall into the grass he rushed to her side, ignoring the newly formed planets floating overhead.

Kneeling down beside her, his ethereal form shimmered with worry. Zareth reached out, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Are you all right?"

Vantric: 23,2

Vantric knew it was childish, but he couldn't help but smile at Pentar as he spun around with a shocked look on his face. The other god was clearly upset at how his touted "Hall of Justice" had turned out, though he was far too proud to admit its failure. The dim lighting did little to hide the fact that the vaulting arches and spiked columns gave the place a feel far more sinister than its creator's intention.

"True, the hall did not come out exactly as I intended, but my effort was not completely fruitless." Vantric raised an eyebrow. It clearly looked fruitless to him. Given the nature of the building and the terrible monsters that now inhabited it justice seemed to be the last thing anyone would get here. However, Pentar gestured to the creatures next, "I've created these beings. Look into their minds and you will see that they are fully self aware, like you and I, though on a much more primitive level."

Vantric decided to test Pentar's claim, and touched the mind of the nearest creature. It seems Pentar wasn't lying, Vantric thought as he sensed the awareness in the primitive creatures. He smiled at the sensation. This was a very interesting development, useful as well, if harnessed properly. Dark thoughts flowed into Vantric's mind from the lesser creature. It was consumed with dark desires and evil things, though its mind was much more organized and focused than he would have initially guessed. Likely a side effect of being crafted by the insufferable order-monger, he concluded. "It seems you are correct." He said, turning back to Pentar, "These creatures of yours are self aware. Fascinating. You have done something remarkable, though they could use some work..."

Vantric thought back to his own creations, the beings that he would craft to populate existence. These monsters of Pentar's were interesting specimens, but they were not what he had envisioned his own creations to be. While Vantric let his mind wander, Seith entered and interrupted everything by slamming the door shut.

"Pentar...do you realize what you have created here? These beings though lawful, are of an evil nature! Damn it, they will seek to spread tyranny, not justice! Is this what you had intended? If it is I need to discuss something with you, if not then perhaps I can aid you in removing these...creatures." Seith shouted.

Vantric couldn't help but roll his eyes at this. "I object to that out of hand. You wish to destroy these creatures simply because they don't fit into your idea of being. Pentar, if you wish nothing to do with these creatures let me take them. I would put them to use in my service and look after them. Likely it's more than you would have done with them anyway."

Roe 26, 1

"Let's begin by creating a special gate in the garden, one that opens when you are lost." Ailish serenely told Roe, her hand gesturing to a small patch of green. He nodded eagerly and began focusing his mind on helping her create the gate.

"In the meantime Roe, I must seek the garden's creator for her blessing. If she can help, the heavens will be all the more open to us. I shall see you again soon."

"Okay, I'll wait here!" Roe replied as Ailish departed and then he started to explore the newly formed garden around him, dashing through the undergrowth whilst picking flowers and fruit as he ran, briefly admiring their pretty colours before throwing them onto the ground in a heap. The young god found a stick and using it as a makeshift weapon, began having an imaginary sword fight with the nearest tree. Once he'd broken off quite a few branches and worn himself out in the process he ripped out some fistfuls of grass out from the earth to make a comfy cushion to lie on, then sat back admiring the sky. He felt a little lonely without anyone-else around and hoped that Ailish would be back soon.

He saw his own planet Roe passing by, now only reflecting Niv's radiant light having had the chance to cool, a small red disk alone in an otherwise inky black sky. Suddenly the skies lit up in an orgy of creation and from the darkness emerged a number of new planets, each endowed with a generous bounty of trees and vegetation. Roe watched with wonder and decided to help make those worlds as interesting as the games he'd just played in Eldwaren's garden. He concentrated on the planets and projected onto them something which he could feel in every inch of his being, yet found so difficult to describe. If only there was a...

Chaos

The word came to him from seemingly nowhere, yet it seemed to fit so well... short, easy to say, rather like his own name. "Roe of Chaos they'll call me..." he muttered to himself as he continued to focus his mind upon the planets, assisting their creator and at the same time leaving his own unique mark of chaos upon their futures.

Nivix - 19, 1

Even with such a distance between them, Nivix still heard Eldarwen's cry. "Do you want forests!? I will give you forests!"

Startled, the god pivoted around, staring in shock and amazement at the hall his fellows had created not moments earlier. Countless chunks of earth and dirt, all with various plants and trees dotting their surface, rose from the structure, hovering in midair as their mistress commanded and named them.

Nivix could only watch in amazement as Eldarwen sent her creations hurtling out into the void, proclaiming her intent to guard and nurture them against whatever else may come. It was nothing short of inspiring, watching her hurtle her children out into the unending vastness.

It was also nothing short of infuriating.

Grinding his teeth, Nivix glared at the nature goddess across the vast emptiness, rage flashing in his eyes. How DARE she attempt to outshine his own child, his precious star?! Did she honestly think that some worthless hunks of rock and dirt would ever flare brighter than Niv, or did she think that they would be better simply because there were more of them?! Foolishness! Arrogance! Despicable!

"Unforgivable..." he growled under his breath, a thin cloud of steam rising from his trembling frame.

"Unforgivable unforgivable unforgivable UNFORGIVABLE! Brother!" Nivix roared, directing his attention to Maskelyne. "Stand back! There will be time for partnership later, but for now..." Trailing off, the deity turned back to the hall, his face now unreadable. "For now, I must do this myself."

Extending his arms, Nivix focused once more, willing into existence two balls of flame, one in each palm. Though not nearly as large as Niv, the orbs still radiated heat and light; all it would take was a bit of his divine power, and they would soon swell to the titanic size their brother possessed.

Not enough.

Another pair of sphere flared into existence, these stationed just below Nivix's feet.

Not enough.

Soon, a dozen flames circled around the god. Then a hundred. Then a thousand. Then countless points, all of them shining with an unworldly light and warmth.

So, Eldarwen sought to outdo him? Heh, she would be hard pressed to do better than this.

"GO FORTH," Nivix shouted to all the cosmos, spreading his arms wide. "GO FORTH AND BRING LIGHT TO THIS DARKNESS! SHOWER ALL OF REALITY WITH YOUR BRILLIANCE AND WARMTH! LET NOT EVEN A SCRAP OF BLACKNESS REMAIN!"

At their creator's bidding, the countless lights sprung forth, hurtling forth into the infinite void. They traveled at incredible speeds as they zipped around the planets Eldarwen had sent forth, zig-zagging their way to the very edges of reality.

"NOW," Nivix roared one last time, "SHINE!"

Melanthios 23AP, 2MP

"And who, Knower-Of-Names, are you?" M'endar asked him. "My name is Melanthios, I am sorry for not introducing myself sooner. It must have slipped my mind.""A pleasure to meet you." Zareth nodded at M'endar. Suddenly he ran toward the door of the library leaving the other 2 gods behind. Melanthios looked at M'endar. "I am sure he will return soon for now please sit." Melanthios pointed at a chair as he sat down himself. He noticed a table he hadn't made himself, there were 3 books lying on top of it. He didn't remember making those.

Melanthios grabbed one of the books, it had his name on it. The books were well made and their colors suited the god for which they were made. Melanthios handed M'endar his copy. He opened his own book, to find out that it was empty. He spotted a note lying on the table. He grabbed it and read it. "It appears these books are a gift of Zareth. Well I am sure he will be back soon, for now let's get down to business." Melanthios suddenly looked very serious, he looked M'endar straight in his eyes.

"I brought you here today for 2 things. 1 to become your friend, and 2 to forge an alliance." Melanthios leaned back a bit in his chair. "As you already saw alliances are being formed all around us, these alliances form a threat to us all. What if they decide that we are their enemies? How will we defend our selves when we are outnumbered? The answer is simple we can't. We would be destroyed or imprisoned. That is why we have to join forces." Melanthios spoke with passion, the candles around him slowly began to burn brighter.

"And you and I are similar M'endar. We are not the same being, But we are a lot more a like then the other gods. You have felt this too haven't you? And to show you how serious I am about this alliance, I will show you my true form." Melanthios grabbed his robe and took it off, revealing his true appearance.

His dark appearance was revealed, M'endar could feel the dark magic which formed Melanthios. "I am Melanthios the god of magic and wisdom. And I offer you an alliance, if we work together we could achieve anything we want. With the 3 of us nobody will be able to stop us. So what do you say M'endar? Do you want to work with me? Do you want to rule this universe together, as friends? No as Brothers?" Melanthios stretched out his hand hoping that M'endar would take it. the candles were burning brighter then ever before.
