Well, the vancouver olympics are going to be an epic fail...
As a resident of the vancouver area, all I can say is don't come expecting anything remotely "cold". Its like 10 C or higher and its raining.

Not that long ago, a Finnish clothing firm, Seppälä, arranged an internet competition for designing a t-shirt. Guess who showed up and got thousands of votes before somebody noticed? The local yellow paper had the most amazing trollfest on their discussion forum. "I will never buy anything from Seppälä ever again, those dirty pedos" etc. etc ad nauseam.
