Pretty much every celebrity, musician and definitely every reality TV star. I really hate Hollywood right now.
Eh? It's not like she's undergone some sudden conversion or cashed in on a trend, she's been into nerd/ geek culture (including gaming) for decades and has said as much more than a few times over the years (hell The Guild was based on her own 2 year long WoW obsession and that's a pretty old show now), she's just gotten more famous for it recently.Silentpony said:Felicia Day. For fucks sake, we get it, now that being a gamer girl is in vogue you've totes like for realz have always, no backsies, been into games and wow are those glasses, you're just soo nerdy, here have some money!
C?mon, man, Natalie Portman?!? She?s got to be the least offensive actress in all of cinema! She?s literally done nothing to anyone (unless you?re a Star Wars nut and fault her for having a part in anything produced after the original trilogy.) Plus, she?s adorable and intellectually brilliant. You?ve got to at least give her credit for her role in ?The Professional;? I wanna say she was maybe 13 or 14 at the time, but she did an incredible job despite her age.Bob_McMillan said:Scarlet Johansson and Natalie Portman. All the roles I have ever seen them in are horrible, or at least nowhere near as good as their fellow actors. I don't hate them, but at the same time I think people clamoring for a Black Widow movie are crazy.
The first role I ever saw her in was Padme, yes. I don't blame her for that, but at the same time I will never be able to disassociate her with that performance. Her incredibly annoying performance in the Thor movies did not help.Xprimentyl said:C?mon, man, Natalie Portman?!? She?s got to be the least offensive actress in all of cinema! To be fair it was the Guild that made me hate her. Even back then I thought she was exploiting and milking the 'Lulz, gamer girls! Nerds are so lonely!' for all its worthBattenberg said:Eh? But...but everyone loves Raymond...Breakdown said:Raymond Barone, the jerk.
I would also add Seth Mcfarlane for somewhat similar reasons. Seth Green gets a free pass because he is relatively self-aware/deprecating and voiced one of my favourite Mass Effect characters. Above, he made me laugh where the others have not. I get the strange feeling that the former take themselves too seriously, or it might be something else that I am picking up but unable to put down.Programmed_For_Damage said:Seth "freakin" Rogan. I think he's boring and one note. I thought Sausage Party was pretentious and juvenile. His earlier films were fresh and interesting, but I think he needs to come to grips with the fact he's far removed from a teenager these days.
