Most likely the game I've been creating in my head for the last 5 years. Think instead of open world, open universe. That's about all I'm willing to say.

Brutal Legend with a more hack-n-slash style and longer story. More rpg elements would be nice.

Morrowind, with multiplayer, way more NPCs, Daggerfall's combat system (except you can move while you attack), all of Tamriel to explore, all of Atmora to explore, and plenty of other worlds (Oblivion, the Astral Plains, the Shivering Isles, etc), minigames, wars between factions etc., a constant supply of new enemy types, and time travel.

Yeah, that'll do for me.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and no 'main quest', but a metric fuckton of ones about the same length as Morrowind's.

And better graphics.

Something similar to Freelancer. Same mechanics, same story style, same in-depth environments. Someone clone my favorite game :D

A game that's mostly adventure but can have fighting too, it's set in a vast land, and is mostly based on the atmosphere it creates, which would be a free one. It could be 2D if it wants as long as it has that.

A third person game set in a frozen, snow covered post-apocalyptic wasteland with freedom and a heavy emphasis on survival tactics, the plot slowly bleeds through in things you find (Like old newspaper articles and such) and the ultimate goal is to make it to some sort of fabled land where the winter never hit. Winter survival on Garry's mod is pretty close but you spend 99% of your time standing next to a fire and you're regularly killed and eaten by cannibals.

An open-world cover-based F/TPS/RPG and RTS game set in space where you start off as a nobody on a space station - just one of thousands of other space stations, planets, moons, and ships you can fully explore - from an interchangeable first-person to third-person perspective. You can pursue the career of an interstellar commodities dealer by buying your own ships and flying them to different buyers around the galaxy like in X3, embark on a life of piracy by stealing/raiding other ships (while avoiding the spess pohlees military and other pirate gangs), sign up for the planetary garrison/air force/space military as a pilot or a marine, or even join a political faction and rise in rank to become the governor of a space station or the ruler of a massive empire. Of course, you'd get to customise your character and specialise in skills as you level up.

That would be cool. *mind explodes*

A global MMOFPS/RTS/Global RTS with RPG elements about warfare.

That would be the best thing ever. Like, absolutely the best.

Oh. And fix the whole "you can take missions from the other factions!"

It sucks. You can never count on your allies being allies for more than half an hour, because everyone will tell you to attack your ally. Which you won't, because you just spent half an hour paying them off and whatnot to make them your ally. So everyone gets pissy at you and attacks you.

Which is fine, until they start telling you to attack someone you're actually attacking. And your ally tells you to attack the person you're not. So your ally becomes your enemy, your enemies become your allies, and that one poor guy you're beating the snot out of dies. Leaving you with one enemy (usually your next door neighbor, I've found) and a bunch of allies.
I've found that it's easier to keep your allies when you pit them against one another and pay for their war expenses. Works real well as the TEC.

A Crysis-style open-ended shooter revolving around a dramatized version of the 4Chan anti-scientology rallies as well as other acts of mischief.

Or maybe just Deus Ex, 'cause that was pretty damn sweet already.

Perfect game? How about a hybrid between grand strategy, RPG, and tactics?

Oh, wait, there are several out there now that accomplish a similar goal.

With racing mini-party games! And a microgame within it for stearing!

And a Fighting-Puzzle every now and then in a Sandbox enviroment.

Final Fantasy X, if they just made a few of the characters more tolerable. Tidus and Rikku are the epitome of annoying pieces of shit

A game where all you do is explore. No story, no other human characters, just you, wilderness, and whatever happens to be on the island. Plenty of hidden collectibles that give rewards for finding them, like giving you tools so you can reach more places on the island. That would be awesome. No feelings of being rushed, just pure, blissful exploration.
You should try Minecraft. You can find it at www.minecraft.net
