Ugh memories of PETA coming back.

I was at a restraunt ordered steak my mom was there some guy came up to me wearing a PETA shirt and said HEY DON'T eat THAT. They killed cows just so you could eat that you know? he picked up my moms leg and said how would you feel if we just cut off HER LEG so someone over there could eat it huh PUNK?! Did he get a new member? no but a well deserved kick in the balls for messing my food up.

oh yeah they care about pixels BUT not the real animals? you know AT the circus?

I also think they're protesting it because that circus is making money off it to but thats just my guess

Animal Cruelty is evil, so pretend animal cruelty is just as evil. PETA is insane and they do not want to press the issue. I do not own a Wii, but I want to buy this game just to give the middle finger to PETA.

FUCK PETA!! They always have to moan at something. PETA if you love animals so much go live on a farm. They protested about the dog killing in COD4 and WAW, they moaned at the killing of innocent pixelated zebras in far cry 2. They have to keep on bitching about something so people don't completely forget about them, not that anyone actually gives a shit about them.

Congrats PETA, you all are officially a buncha asses. Attacking an organization for abuse is one thing, but attacking a developer for making a game on it? That's just retarded.

actually I think that was a high school student in a enviormentalist club that started moaning about dog killing. Didn't know about killing zebras in Far Cry 2, sounds awesome.

On a side note, this makes the news but no one cares that you can kill the pope in Medieval 2 total war.

Those my be valid complaints, but I still argue that PETA takes things further than Greenpeace.... Last time I checked, Greenpeace doesn't firebomb animal medical testing labs, or at least pay the legal fees for those who do...
Greenpeace does wage a terrorist war against the Japanese and Norwegian navies. It is documented on the show Whale wars.

From a first impression standpoint, of those I see that support PETA, its basic demographic is rich cloudheads who probably dont do a lick of research into what PETA actually does in their program, they just read the header on the letter. This new push proves that even more. I'll wait for the next related newsbite about the new organization coming out, People for the Ethical Treatment of Pixels(PETPix). Or, The Zombie Protection Society(ZomProSoc).

I don't know why I think this way but something tells me Jack Thompson is in on this.
So woohoo more reason to ridicule critics of games.

While circuses really do kind of make me sick, and I pretty much agree with PETA protesting circuses at all, I hate PETA, with a fiery passion, just because they, like so many others, turn activism into outright dickery, and only make less people want to join their cause.

I mean, Mr. King probably never threw cans at white people, or slandered them, or any of that. He was a true activist. PETA are like those people who make things change by annoying everyone so much that they give in to shut them up, not because they actually believe in the cause.

With organizations such as Greenpeace and PETA why would anyone want to stand up to environmental and animal abuse?
Greenpeace is far more reputable and credible than PETA...

I gave up on them with pet slavery. Ok I have pets. I feed them, Protect them, Clean up after them, and expect nothing in return. Yeah there slaves alright.

Plus the fact that the co chair women uses Insoline. I protect tested on and taken from pigs.
Here reason. "I need my life to protect animales." If you arn't willing to die for you cause shut the hell up.
Yeah, I saw that episode of Penn & Teller: Bullshit! as well... very informative. I would never have guessed that PETA euthanizes animals or lends material support to domestic terrorists...
Greenpeace does the EXACT same thing as PETA, and as far as Im concerned the Sierra Club can hop on the same boat to hell. they both run around on my hunting land during hunting season then complain when they get some "perforations" in the fender on their vehicles.

Ive had to personally deal with both of them and I don't think I can say what i want to say about them for fear some child logs on, sees the words and then has their faces melt "last crusade" style
Those my be valid complaints, but I still argue that PETA takes things further than Greenpeace.... Last time I checked, Greenpeace doesn't firebomb animal medical testing labs, or at least pay the legal fees for those who do...
right but they also have a deeper reach because they are a world wide organization, you can shift that money just like PETA, it's all in the filing
Greenpeace has stopped trespassing though, PETA still must have some money to burn and lately Ive made a few trips out to my property and found a vehicle with no one it it yet Ive had graffiti, I just flatten all the wheels with my pocket knife and wait for the cops, they never fess up but hopefully they will give in.

I take solace in the fact that I own guns and they don't

And I thought that the news about the Soulja Boi game was depressing enough. When will PETA learn? The more you whine and ***** about animals, and especially when you complain about the most miniscule transgression against an animal, it weakens your "position".

I was under the impression that Greenpeace strayed so far from its conception that the founders actually left. But then I don't keep up with eco-groups so w/e.

Anyone else remember when Bruce Willis' character in Armageddon was driving golf balls off an oil platform into a boat full of angry eco-nauts/nuts? Screaming in the middle of an ocean gets shit done.

PETA don't seem to care about all of the humans in the world, which is my problem with them. Yeah, the animals are in trouble. Most people don't like animal killing. (I'm a vegetarian myself, actually.) But protesting a video game which contains animals is like protesting a cartoon pirate movie for kids because pirates used guns. The cartoon pirates probably won't make a big deal out of guns, just like the circus video game probably won't make you whip animals to make them act.

I've been told to look on PETA's side of the argument a few times, so I'll do that now. Compassion and everything.

In Toontown online, you can buy a doodle, which is a dog-thing. It follows you around on your private estate. But here's the problem: in the time I played Toontown, I've seen players summon their doodles into the huge ponds outside of their houses. The poor doodles never come up for air! They'll drown! Go to hell, Toontown! Disney is an animal killer! Stupid Disney! (I actually do think Disney is a little stupid, but not for that.)
