do they really think that the olympics committee can do anything in reguards to the subject? or are they hoping that they will incite a ban on the vancouver games?

I honestly didn't think Canada would be the kind of country to have a freaking annual Seal Hunt. I'm actually pretty disappointed about that.
As a Canadian I can safely say "those seals had it coming!"

PETA just needs to crawl in a pit, everything they do just ends up making themselves look bad...
As a fellow Canadian, I can second that. They just eye you when you walk by. It's plain strange.

TO THE CLUBS!

Also, the suggestion that the meat may be delicious has now intrigued me.

Alright the seal hunt is fine. There are way worse things these people could be worrying about

Why? There's nothing wrong with hunting seals. I kind of wish that they'd sell the seal meat. I'd like to try some.

OT: Too bad the game sucked. Now that the development of bad games has been added to PETA's list of activities, it now has no redeeming qualities (at least in my opinion).
Yeah but I like seals, all animals actually, especially the cute ones so it doesn't really sit right with me to hunt them. I know there's worse things to worry about but that doesn't mean I can't be pretty disappointed about this too.

Besides I guess I had Canada painted out as some paradise, which is pretty stupid actually, where nothing goes wrong ever, I guess it has its faults too.

But they're soooo cuuuuuute! You can't kill cute animals! PETA says so!
Well then keep them as pets. I don't care what people do; just try to keep a good number of them away from our wild fish supply in the North Atlantic. :p

Wat. I know PETA are idiots, but they have to get the idea of a fun game. Make a Flash game where you're an animal killing humans, for pete's sake.

Atleast their last game was funny enough to warrant playing!

Also PETA, the world hates you, okay? Will you please understand that and go away?

Inuits and Canadians have hunted seals for generations. It's a main source of food in the far north.
And PETA is trying to stop their centuries-old tradition because they don't approve?
Screw them. I vote we hunt down those extremists and make them eat seal meat.

Right, now that I just offended a good portion of you - yeah, that was a pretty crap game. It's a bit like SkiFree, only you can't fail. And there's an actual end.

I'm going to fail at that game on purpose.

Then go play some more seal hunt.

PETA is just an organisation made to make vegetarians look bad. There's no other explanation.

Don't worry veggies, I know most of you aren't hypocritical, unrealistic and stupid 13 year olds.

"people don't like pictures of big, unshaven Newfies clubbing adorable little baby harp seals to death"

I can not believe he said that. I'm from Newfoundland and as far as I know it there aren't any seal even on this island and while I disagree with any kind of hunting for sport it is something that goes on all over the world and to say that about a single province is at the least incredibly ignorant. I know that the remark was just thrown in, probably with little thought, I still feel that it he's going to mention the island by name than he has to know something about it( regardless as to weather it's true or not).

HAH HAH HAH!

I used that very picture on one of my school projects about the false righteousness psychologically borne of personal offence!
