Otherwise, I'm not really sure why this is news. Everyone loves Minecraft, and I wouldn't have expected Peter Molyneux to be an exception.

Also, you can plant and acorn in Minecraft and watch it grow, but not in certain other games Peter might be familiar with; no wonder he loves it.

Peter. If you'd wake up for 10 seconds you could make something equally as brilliant. Get away from Microsoft, form your own small company on PC and start making great, innovative games like you used to. I guarantee the community will be behind you from the ofset.

He already did. he just needs to figure out a way to get it out of development hell.


You play as a tribe of cavemen and fight dinosaurs. I can think of no conceivable way this game could suck.

to those people that say minecraft is an infiminer clone look it up first minecraft just took the ability to place blocks and the blocky style. the random worlds the 64 ceiling, -64 ground
and the u.i. are all notch's. i could give 100 different reasons why minecraft is not a clone of infiminer. please people at least Google stuff before you make accusations.

Um, guys? Right now, the News Room has two different posts that are JUST things Peter Moleneux has said today. They aren't about a new game he's making, or anything resembling a formal announcement. They're just...random things he's said.

This has to stop. I'm sure he's a nice guy, but not everything he says is newsworthy.

I might just be gullible, but even after Peter's promises for Fable 2 I still believed and hoped his promises for Fable III were real. He's just that kind of guy. And he's practically the face of the British gaming industry through what he says.
