Right seriously i cant believe how daft my cat is...she thinks she can run through doors.

i was walking up the stairs...door was shut, from my mums room i hear..."Daisy...come on"

all i here is the jingle of her collar and a loud thud. i turned round went down stairs, opened the door, she wasn't there, i looked in the living room and the kitchen (this is her game of hide and seek believe it or not), i go back through the door and close it, i walk up the stairs again...*thud* i run back downstairs, open the door and see her sitting in front of the door... and she calmly walks in as if to say...took your time"

so just out of curiosity... do your pets do anything stupid?

Everything my pets do are stupid.

There's this weird thing that all my cats and dogs do.

When you scratch them at the base of their tail, their heads will turn up, their eyes go wide and they'll just start licking the air for some reason.

I can't find any medical reason for this.

My cat will knock on the door until she's let in.

And she has moments where she just goes ape-shit and running around like she's schizophrenic.

You can also roll her over on to her back and she stretches out fully like she's a bit of roadkill.

My dog Bear used to sit up on the couch next to the window and just look at my domain, keeping it guarded for me...

My pet rat Hershey (now dead), I used to be able to let her run all over the house, and when I whistled she always came back to me...

My room-mate's snake Osiris sometimes waits until the water dish gets low, then crawls in to chill out there, pushing the rest of the water out. For a while a few years ago she wouldn't eat unless you played a little tug-of-war with her over the mouse.

My cat treats us like idiots.

Its averaging about 0c recently outside, So we're letting our cats inside whilst its so cold. My cat knocks on the front door, We open it and she sits at the front door going "should I, Shouldnt I..."

So we shut the door. Then she knocks again.

So far in over 4 weeks she's only come in three times, And twice of them she was dragged in by a hand.

My dog rolls on the floor going "Rarrgh arrghh pfft", but I do that most mornings so I couldn't say it's that stupid.

My dog has one ear up and one down if you can call that strange.

When a door is slightly shut and she can see it can be pushed open she charges it(she is only a small dog)

This one probably isn't strange but it is funny, when my dad shouts at my brother because he is being a dick or is shouting at the football my dog just walks into her cage(she has a bed but she prefers the cage, my mum said it's because she feels safe in there)

My cat is fucking crazy. She plays a game called lets see how far I can dig my claws into Ross before he moves me or lets run up and down the stairs like an headless chicken until they wake up and let me outside.

Sometimes she just sits in the bath for 5mins then she starts to chase her reflection/tail/water drops in the bath going round in circles.

All the outdoor cats keep trying to scare eachother. I was sitting outside looking at velco who was sitting on the wood pill when cleo sneaks around the wood pile comes up from behind velco and then jumps up on top of her and they both yelp, and then run in opposite directions.

My dog does the same thing and when someone is going somewhere outside without her, she would hid under the table and act scared.
Very peculier... : /

Aw, when we leave we fill this rubber thing with peanut butter and put her in her cage where she sleeps until we come back.

My kitty has learned how to close my laptop monitor, in order for him to gain my undivided attention.

My dad rescued a stray cat that had been declawed by whoever owned him first. He was a great cat but he had a couple of weird things that he did - the main one was 'sharpening' his 'claws'. He'd try to scratch up the couch even though he had no pointies left. So basically he'd just be rubbing his paws on the leg of the couch, getting nowhere fast. He also refused to drink water unless it was actively pouring out of the sink spigot. He wouldn't drink water out of a bowl.
