Our cats are all so strange. I have a CRT tv in my room, and my cat likes to sleep on top of it. She won't go anywhere else to sleep. Another one likes to sit in the gap between the two arm chairs and if anyone looks down there, he'll jump up and try to scratch your face off.

When my cat was still a ultra cute kitten, he enjoyed running around our summer cottage and the garden. One day i was walking around the greenhouse and passed a tub we use to gather rain. Then my kitten suddenly jumped out from nowhere and tried to land on the edge of the tub. Since he was young, his cat-skills weren't that good and he fell in. He freaked out and tried to get out, and after 3-4 tries he escaped. He looked so sad there, shaking and wet, that i picked him up and ran to the house where i placed him into a towel. Only his head was not covered, there he stayed for a long time, and finally climbed out and went off to another adventure.

Now that he's grown up ,he sometimes runs into tables and corners and other stuff, making a loud bang , and then running away again. I guess running really fast in thigh places isn't that good of an idea, even for a cat.

My Cats have all done this, its actually an all cat thing, we call them 'daft half hours' for some reason I don't even know.

Anyway one of my cats literally throws herself at windows until she's let in and will growl at anything she doesn't find amusing.

My other cat, the son of the first, meows like a sheep and will sit on his mother to get her attention and will jump on me, even if I'm standing up, to get me to feed him.

They both sit and watch TV and play with foil balls. They're awesome.
Haha, really? That's slightly reassuring then.

EDIT: I forgot to add that my cat will try to drink out of anything - she drinks out of the watering can in the garden; she's drunk out of the toilet before; she licks the drops that drip out of the tap and she's tried to drink out of the bath.

Whilst I was in it.

My mum had some empty boxes in the front room which were just about big enough to fit 3 novels in, if you stood them on their spines. My cat decided this box would be better used for him to sit in.

No, there was no reason. He just sat there like for hours, with a look like "Mmm, my box :3"

No worries, it's normal from what I read. It's how they waste the energy they'd otherwise use on hunting in the wild.

Heh, my old cat used to do the same. She'd just sit inside this empty chocolate box for hours. I tried to move her on the bed, but she just went right back there. Guess cardboard is comfier than a bed....

My cat did the same thing to me whilst I was in the bath and when I use the tap. Hell, they climb into the sink and sleep there, and in the bath.

Its when they start staring at walls is when you gotta worry, Mine do this far too often to be normal.

I had a cat that, when he wanted cat treats (it's like crack to them) he'd go around throwing/shoving things off of shelves and counters then stare at whoever was in the room until he was given his crack.
One cat that I have now has, on more than one occasion jumped head first into a wall( and once into my knee)

My little chiuaua has this strange habit of walking out in the middle of the living room. Roll on to her back, and squirm around while snorting and huffing.

When I was asleep my old cat used to jump on my bed, and claw feet to wake me up. I'd shout at him, and he'd start purring like a kitten, knowing that he'd won my attention.

My dog, doesn't really act stupid nor does it do anything strange.

what's strange is my dog's eating habits.

It loves, potato peels, pasta, grapes, bread, pizza and cheese. I've had 4 other dogs, before my current one and none of them eat like this.

My lizard and frog have never done anything out of the ordinary.

But my cat can't hear anymore, meows to herself and twitches out on the couch almost everyday lol

EDIT: she also begs from the table alot, and every time we even get a glass of water, she thinks its chicken and goes crazy.
