I personally cannot watch Pewdiepie vids for any longer than an hour because then all I get is annoyed with his forced reactions and annoying gibberish (I saw his amnesia lp wondering why he spent 30 minutes talking to a chair) I also hate how much time he takes playing stuff based on him.

I think he tries too hard, I never feel scared because he's too busy pretending to be scared of build up and then screaming like a little girl. Gets aggrevating when you can't enjoy the game and the comentray. I prefer "Mr" Helloween 4545.

Ah he's like an annoying version of Tobuscus... He's ok in small does but I much prefer Cry myself,(Cry and Pewdie basically share a fanbase XP) his edits and little tweaks make all his LP's fucking sweet.

No Tobuscus is more endearingly energetic and Pewdie is just insufferably loud for no good reason. I actually like all of Toby's random voice swaps and all that. I want to stab Pewdie's little spanish-esque voice he uses 88% of the time through its fucking face.

And I don't like the constant face-cam for some reason...

you is right... i dont know, he has some kind of friendly quality to him, even if he is loud. besides, how can you dislike someone who makes a face like this?

I remember checking him out when he was running for king of the web and I found his commentary ang general humor to be really annoying. I didnt find him funny, I didnt find him insightful, I didnt find him interesting, and I didnt find his videos fun. That said, thats just me. If other people like the guy then keep watching his stuff and enjoy it. Its just not for me

No. My friend watches him occasionally even though she spends most of the time shouting at the screen, "BEHIND you! For fuck sake-- DIDN'T YOU READ THE CLUE???!" and so on. She made me watch a couple of his episodes and I find him highly annoying, too much so to put up with him for the glimmers of funny bits.

I don't really get why people watch LPs. I can understand watching 1 or 2, maybe to get a feel for a game or for a laugh. But as a daily occurance? Is life so empty? I don't even have time to play all my own games as it is, I can't imagine wasting a few hours just watching someone else game.

His scary game LPs are only funny because of the faces he make.

I don't know of they count but BlueXephos is what I follow. Simon does some hilarious voices and Lewis is just a generally likable guy. They're two of the very few youtubers who are famous and aren't a dick about it.

Only LP's I've seen consistently are from a bloke going by the name Kikoskia. Mostly older games (ie DOS/PS1 old) but pretty entertaining. The one that got me hooked on him was his XCOM Superhuman difficulty Arctic challenge.

I personally just think he is not very good. For one, he should stop screaming so loudly into that mic because my poor ears cannot take it. I don't watch LPs to be ear-raped by someone screaming "BARRELS." all the damn time. I prefer screenshot LPs anyway . Two, I just don't like his usage of 'bro'. Bro-dom has to be earned. Grrr. Sorry guys, so much anger I needed to vent in this post.

Personally I like him when he's LPing games other than Amnesia custom stories. Reason being is because he always throws the same jokes in the Amnesia LPs, for example Stephano, knocking off the heads of all of the statues, piggy, BARRELS!!!, etc. The jokes get really old after awhile.
That said, there is something funny about how childlike he is and how he copes with the horror in scary games (when he's not doing the same joke over and over again), I do admit though that they are a little bit childish, but he is endearing to me, especially when he gets his pants scared off. His reactions are hilarious and his tortured face makes me smile so much.
So, I watch him when he does a new game that I haven't played before because they are entertaining as hell to watch. I know that he gets on people's nerves a bunch though, and I can agree with that. He's a simple, happy dude who loves to play these scary games, and he has that spirit that I usually don't find in other LPers.
