He's... ok I guess. I prefer a calm and witty LP'er to a screamy one. Admittedly he has his moments but I can't watch his videos for hours unlike some other LP'ers I know of.
I find his reactions hilarious but most of his vids are just way too long with only one of two scares in them. also his thumbnails and ALWAYS MAKING HIS TITLES IN ALL CAPS are quite annoying. but at that he is quite a funny guy and i support hum with whatever he does next.

I've watched most of PewDiePie's videos only because I'm sadistic, I guess.

I don't know seeing some get freaked out for any little jump scare or audio trick makes me more brave and not as fearful to try-out some of these games.
So are you smitten by his fame or his work, I'm not really sure...
To me he is dime a dozen let's player, with the added bonus of occasional ear bleeds.
For some reason he speaks really quietly when just playing and when you got the volume up so you can hear him at all he will scream his lungs off... and that would be the point where I stop watching.

I've been a rabid fan of NintendoCapriSun in the past, though it's been months since I last saw a video of his. He also collabs with TheRunawayGuys, who I find are fun the first time but repetetive after that. For a really good time, I'd advise you to see Chuggaconroy's LP of Pokemon Silver. because Shiny Koffing.
There aren't many things I dislike, but Pewdiepie is one of them. I find him about as annoying as feeders in League of Legends. You can't get rid of them.
I prefer Game grumps, or the different members of The Yogscast for a a good laugh. Totalbiscuit is there as the serious and honest reviewer.

Once again, I dislike the way he does things. I dont find him entertaining or insightful, hes just annoying in every way and you can tell hes faking a lot of the, for lack of a better word, enthusiasm as he plays his games. Perhaps the worst part (and this is often the worst part) is the community that backs him. Any kind of constructive criticism is met with fierce personal attacks from his community (although I dont think he has ever made personal attacks himself)
His channel seems to be made purely for the lowest common denomenator in society. Its very much "for the masses" instead of for making gaming and the culture around it better and I believe that is exactly what we should not be encouraging
Really the only good thing I can say about him is he has used his popularity to do some charity work which I can only commend him for.

I head about this guy form Totalbiscuit. Mosley he just said he fucking hated him. After watching his videos I can see why, those guys are like polar opposites. Anyway I have never liked Let's plays, I think the only one I watched all the way through was a developer commentary by uselesspodcasts. Or some of yattaze's stuff, but those don't take that long. So yeah I don't like him.
I like watching his montages when I've got nothing else to do, but otherwise he's painful to watch. His fan base is the worst though - jumping onto other respectable people's Let's Plays to scream "OMG your COPYING PEWDIE only hes ALLOWD 2 play THZ!?!!1111" It's just pathetic - like he's the only person in the world allowed to play things like Amnesia? And most of his reactions are irritatingly fake.
I used to like Tobuscus, but he's ended up the same way. Playing stupidly so people will laugh, to the point that I'm almost shouting at the screen in anger.

Tobuscus, Two Best Friends Play, and Game Grumps. Those are my favourites.
I'll throw TheSpoonyOne in there too, if only for his Final Fantasy VIII, SWAT 4 and Phantasmagoria 2 playthroughs.

I like many LP-ers.
Sure I some what like PewDiePie but only to a certain level. I find him more of a horror LP-er then anything and just watch for the horror and weird shit.
For everything else I have other LP-er such as ImmortalHD and Chilled Chaos which I find really awesome.

Same with Game Grumps. The game is explaining to them how to play and they ignore it. Then 5 seconds later "WTF THIS GAME IS DUMB WHERE DO I GO?!". Yeah, they don't pay attention because they're making jokes but...it's annoying when they spend 10 episodes wondering where to go. Comedy is fine but progression is just as important. Otherwise, I'd just watch some stand-up comedy.RagTagBand said:
