Douglas Adams:
The Universe is just one way of looking at the Whole Sort Of General Mish-Mash. The Whole Sort Of General Mish-Mash doesn't actually exist; it is just the sum total of all the ways there would be of looking at it if it did exist.

Terry Pratchett:
Q. Why anything?
A. Because everything.

Bill Hicks:
We are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There is no such thing as death, life is only a dream and we're the imagination of ourselves. Here's Tom with the weather.

Me:
God is in a state of quantum superposition. He both exists and does not exist, simultaneously.

I need to know if there is still hope in this world, if there are still people out there questioning truth, i want you to put up your favorite Philosophical idea, that you thought up yourself, here is mine to get started

"Love, or what we call Love, is not something that just one word can encompass, it is what we live, it is ourselves, our neighbors and the very air we breath, Love is more than just what we feel when we like a girl or a boy, it is everything." -Eric Lambert (2010)
You took mine. Seriously, that line is perfect.

"The Truth shall set ye free, but first it shall make ye miserable"

have heard this one credited to several people, and

"There is but one truly philosophic problem, and that is suicide; deciding whether or not life is worth living amounts to answering the entire question of philosophy" Albert Camus.

On our final days we will think to our selves what we have done in our lifetime when we realize that it is nothing but a drop in the sea of eternity-Well I don't know if it's philosophy but I wrote that.

ah, true but, that one question creates other questions, one must first break down every aspect of life before it is sensible to end it

i'd say so, but according to people my view on philosophy is flawed and my idea of it is poetry, but it's fairly good, thats why i say, you have to live a little, now i forget who said this one, but it's not mine

"one day, we are all going to die, and when my time comes, i intend to deserve it"

i know you weren't but i'm just saying a wide question such as is life worth it, is truly just many other little questions in disguise, kinda like a bunch of midgets dressed like a big person to find out what sex is like with big people

EDIT: okay, so it's nothing like that, i've just wanted to quote family guy from that episode for so long, no such situations arise

"Man is a rope, tied between beast and Over-man". Best quote regarding human potential I've heard.

When life gives you two choices to live or to die, are you then trully alive?
see, i don't really agree with that, i see it more as, when life gives you a choice to live or live, THEN are you truly alive?

Even if you didn't have any point other than the one you stated... Friedrich Nietzsche used that phrase to point out that "Man" as we know ourselves now is in transition from "beast"( imagine lesser primates) to "Over-men" which are like humans, only... less beast-like. Less "warped" by our crass demands of flesh and bone.

Truth is a blade that must be wielded with no hilt. It kills gods, men and civilizations, the blood of which fertilizes the future with renewed potential.
