Do note that this does not involve rounding of any sort. Three prime arithmetic operations and five legendary fundamental constants, no tricks.

Firstly....it's thermO dynamics, and secondly, water is NOT the only substance that does this. there are others, such as cubic zirconium tungstate (ZrW2O8) that expands when cooled over a wide temperature..
if you must claim nerd science....at least go the extra mile.

I found this when I was looking up the whole "water is the only thing that expands when frozen" thing.

Water is not the only substance that expands when frozen.

The following elements expand when frozen: Gallium, Germanium and Plutonium.

There is also a wide range of molecules that expand when frozen. What's really less well known about water is it expands right before it freezes (4C - 0C) which significantly inhibits lakes from freezing in the winter by creating a large boundary layer.

As any science person will tell you, sig figs matter. If we take pi as being extended the great number of places that most calculators have, it is still limited by the other number. 1337% would be 13.37, four sig figs. So when multiplying we can only have 4 sig figs, thus with understanding of scientific mathematics. pi*1337%=42.00

Uhm...wouldn't there be a certain depth from which point up the ice will melt in the sun? Not all water would freeze up. Nonetheless it's peculiar :O
