A rear-loading grenade launcher

I like how you think, boyo. The ejection port's a nice touch, but the M16 handguard looks a little off and there's no aperture (rear iron sight) for the leaf sight.
Yeah, but do you really need a rear sight for a grenade launcher?
Yep. It's how all iron sights work, leaf sights included. You line up the appropriate point on the aperture (rear sight) with the post (front sight) and that provides a point of reference for where your shot's going to go.
The thumper is a good example of this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M79_grenade_launcher

EDIT: Hurr, I buggered up the order of sights. You need a post for your GL, not an aperture. The leaf sight is an aperture itself.
Oh, I just googled leaf sight, wasn't aware it was that kind of sight. Makes sense now.
Is there any way to upload your saved guns and edit them?

We use Pastie. It lets you share plain text easily and anonymously. You are aware of the import/export function?

I direct you to the instructions below.

If you've already closed the page, then the gun's gone forever.
What you can do to back them up from now on, however, is click file (on the flash object, not the browser window), export, and then copy-paste the XML you find into a text document. To load the gun, just go file, import, and then paste the XML back into the window. Click 'Import' at the bottom of the window and your gun comes back.
There was going to be a simplified graphical saving tool that saved it in the flash object, but updates have stopped and import/export are all we have at the moment.

Ugh. How could Pimp My Gun not have anything that Steyr makes? Lord knows I would like to modify a nice AUG A3.

You've got 2 options there - Use the original (which had the A1-3) or make your own. Consider it a challenge.

Ah, you've tried to link directly to the flash object - it does not work.
Look at the OP for directions on how to share the images.

Right here are a couple more for you guys

First the FN TNT sub machine gun

Next there is the overlord assault rifle

Here's one I posted a few days ago but didn't get any feedback, It's a new concept for my designs so I'd kinda like some input guys - The Spokoine Noche tranquilliser gun (non-lethal design inspired by Sooperman's non-lethal post)

NB the bolt looks odd in the pistol but it is not intended as a bolt, it is a retracting barrel. As you break the gun to reload the barrel retracts and upon closing the gun the barrel extends back collecting the new round on its way.

Unfortunately, that's not a submachine gun. An SMG is a gun that uses a pistol calibre in an assault rifle-style layout. That's simply a carbine (compact AR) you have there. It's good though - no technical flaws and the shapes flow well. Good stuff.

A retracting barrel... That's more intricate than my designs, but glad I could inspire someone :) I like the part choices and the colors work pretty well, too. Awesome.

A rear-loading grenade launcher

An updated version of the above gun.

Fixed the sights and swapped the M16 handguard for a rail mounted grenade launcher.

Now that looks good. The vestigial ejection port isn't even a problem, as the lines flow so well. Good work on the robot as well. Keep it up.

Yeah thats true, should have spotted that myself it was 9am and i hadnt slept so just thought small gun = SMG. You guys should never really take anything i say at that sort of time in the morning seriously!!
