I made a single barrel shotgun for fun today. It is unique in the sense that instead of folding the barrel, a flap pops up to allow an insertion of a new shell. The little box under the flap is pushed back to eject the old shell. How do you think it looks? The code is saved, so adjustments can be made. I think it is chambered for 8 gauge, by looks of the shell size. I may also convert it to a 40mm grenade launcher.

Superb blending and shapes, but I'm concerned about that little flap. It looks really flimsy, and it's expose the firing chamber to the shooter's face if it comes off.

That's something I was wondering about too. I'll see if I can find a heavier material to use for that, or something that fits better.

There, I've upgraded my shotgun. The loading flap was made stronger and I added a shell rack on the side. Does that look better?

EDIT: I may have put those shells in the rack backwards. Oh well.

There you go. The flap looks more stable and the shell rack is an improvement. I was curious, though; you said that in order to eject a shell, you pull the little lever above the trigger, right? Personally I can see that getting really inconvenient as you would take your firing hand off of the trigger to pump the shotgun. In stead of pump-action, it would be bolt-action.

Did I read that wrong?

No, you didn't read it wrong. I think I would put the "bolt" on the other side along with the shell rack for a right handed version. I'm pretty sure that makes this bolt action though, as you lift the plate up and push the "bolt" back and up.

I decided to extend my Rattler Series today. I made a PDW aimed at Spec Ops. I call it the Rattler PDW-Spec Op. It fires the .40 S&W round and has drop free magazines, but I included a finger hole to pull them out if they get stuck. It has an MP5 style charging handle and has a firing rate of 850-900 RPM. I included an Aimpoint for ease of target acquisition at close range. I also made a stripe camoed version, and a normal version. Which do you guys prefer?

Oh, and crits are totally accepted and more than welcome.

Crossbow

I'm really happy about how the stock and grip came out, but not so much on the bow part. Couldn't really figure out a better way to make a bow look like a bow from the side like that.

Wow, it's good to see you here again. You've create some fine-looking guns - your MG is solid and couldn't look better. My only nitpick is the size of the ammo box, as it seems too small for an MG role.
Your crossbow is something wonderfully different. I like the concept, and the stock has been blended beautifully except for a small slip-up above the trigger. That aside, the mechanism's great and the scope is nice and spindly - just what you want on a crossbow.
