Hello all! Haven't posted in a while, I just whipped up a few improvements to my bullpup series.
I've improved the receiver/stock, added a clearer mag release, enhanced the handguard so the weapon flows much better and many more things. It remains ambidextrous and case ejection is done diagonally to compensate for different calibres without changing the upper receiver.
Criticism welcomed.
Those look awesome. I love the new magazine release and the look of the butt/receiver.

Looks great! Very detailed and quite well done.

I decided to make some guns too, here goes.

The XLB1, or Experimental Light Bolter 1, was the first in a series of Bolter weapons, designed to work with the US Military's new Genetically Enhanced Super Soldier Project (Or GESSP), mainly developed to combat hostile alien life. The XLB1 is a lighter, recon sidearm variant of it's bigger brothers, the XHB and XCB (Heavy and Combat), and features a top ejection system not possible with the heavier variants. It fires the 2.5 Action Express cartridge for maximum trauma and internal devastation, easily doing away with fleshy organic targets, but it's not much of a match for armor.

This customized variant is fitted with a laser sighting device, reflex sight, and extended 9 round magazine.

Oh, and it's inspired by Warhammer, if you hadn't guessed.

This one started out as an automatic grenade launcher, but quickly changed into an SMG.

It's a caseless PDW made in the apocalypse by brilliant Russian gunsmiths, utilizing only the finest parts available, meaning it's all synthetic and metal, no wood. It fires modified caseless 9mm from a 15 round magazine, and has a collapsible stock.

Crits appreciated! :D

Some new content to breathe more life into this undead thread.

A 10mm smg that was meant to be an improvement on an earlier one I made, as well as a
side arm
A couple carbines, one .357, one 5.7
A bullpup and standard smg, nothing special. I don't think they're that great myself.

And last but not least, my attempt at a Lambert Carbine from BattleField: 2142. My personal favorite out of this set.

This is something I made... and have no real clue what to make of it...

I got the idea from seeing a Bolter picture, and thought of making a hand-held shotgun type deal. Has a 10 shell drum, and has a unieqe design to eject the spent shells. Not quite sure how it would work, but if pressed to, I could think of some explanation. The rear sight was inspired by the PMC from Bulletstorm.

*Edit*

Decided to do some additional work on my Anti-material rifle I post just a while ago.

Besideds the color, I changed the barrel itself. I added a support strut underneath the barrel, to help improve long range accuracy. The strut also has an attached RIS mounting for a Bi-pod setup to assist aiming. Also added a semi-open bolt

Crits are wlcomed.

So, as me and a friends have put it, we're both going to Comic-Con in 2012, and we've gone with a MW2 theme, I'll be Ghost, one will be Sgt. Foley, and the third with be Roach. We plan on ordering two Identical M4 Air Soft Load-outs and on M14 Air Soft. Here is my M4A1. :3

There's something wrong with your image URL, and I can't get anything from following it in the address bar - remember to use the Direct Link URL, and not the URL of the gallery page.

So another zany idea I had a while back is making smaller guns belt-fed. The idea was that instead of huge belts feeding huge cartridges, I could use wire-frame belts to feed handgun cartridges.

To the left is an enlarged view of a belt, and at the bottom is a side view. The housings are connected with hooks, fed into the gun like normal, and ejected along with the brass. The gun would have to be modded to allow for more material being ejected, but it would be easy enough.

And sorry it's a bit sloppy, I wanted to see if it made sense before I polished it. Crits and thoughts are all welcomed.

Ugh, dammit... It's been happening to me for a while. No matter what site I uploaded it too, it never does...

Its a cool idea, but I can think of a few things that might be wrong with it.
-How would the rounds feed with no spring to push the next round into the chamber?
-Reloading might be a little hard with a floppy belt like that. I imagine it'd be like when you check the oil in your vehicle, and you try to insert the dipstick back into the hole.[small][sub]hehe![/sub][/small] I guess that could be fixed by using longer belts, but then it might just be better to use regular mags.

If you can think of a way to make it feed better, I don't see why it couldn't work. Probably be better for target shooting that combat though.

I'll have to work on both, thanks. I suppose the cycling could be done by dragging the next round in as the previous one gets ejected, but that would be hard to time properly.

Yeah, I think I'll try this again but polished.

Some retarded rail-gun thing. I like it but any opinion is nice.
First off, how is it a rail gun? I think the two barrels there are suppose to act as the rails, but that's not how rail guns work. Also you've attached a cheek rest to a cheek rest which looks silly.

Kinda neat in an over-the-top way, but it needed more work.

Some new ones...

I bullpup styled pistol, it uses the same ammunition as the FN P90 and the Five-Seven. It has a 20 round magazine, and despite its shape, is actually balanced enough that firing with one hand is possible.

A custom assault rifle, it has a 50 round magazine, which has the appearance of a half beta-mag. It also has a removable 40mm grenade launcher, and built in holographic styled sight.

A large revolver. It uses a unique magazine, in that instead of using normal bullets, it uses a design similar to Ball and Cap [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Percussion_cap] style revolvers. The cylinder mags are made of high-pressure formed biodegradable materials. and are typically able to withstand some abuse from the firing of the gun, before discarding and breaking down (though they do need to be carried in special canisters in order to prevent the break down from starting prematurely.) It reloads by swing-out cylinder design. It has an internal hammer mechanism, as well as a flip down rear iron sight and fixed front iron sight.

Crits are welcomed.

I like this assasult rifle, it looks like something that you'd get in Mass Effect. The colours go well with each other and I like the UGL you've added, it took a while fo me to realise it was a merge between the GL1 and what looks like an M203.

A few of my latest creations -

It's based on a SCAR L and developed into a weapons system for use by the soldiers in FIBUA and FIWA situtaions. The barrel is covered by the 'handguards' to prevent any dirt or leaves getting into the gas parts and the mechanism.

This one was made after having a friend tell me (again) that the HK416 is/was used by NASA to guard certain ground installations. This is basically a HK416 with a specialised sight and silencer for use in enclosed environments - like the corridors of a space ship.

This is basically a Barret sniper rifle with a large box magazine, cut down barrel, 4x scope, bipod and adjustable stock + grip arrangement. The stock and grip arrangement was inspired by the L86A2 LSW variant of the L85A2 rifle as that has a rear grip for use when lying down to give greater accuracy. You will notice that the rifle appears to protude through the top of the stock, the stock fits round the rifle like a 'U' shape and the entire stock/grip arrangement moves back and forewards when adjusted.
The magazine is a box magazine with the majority of the ammunition capacity in a larger section on the left side of the weapon so from the back it looks (slightly) like a 'd'.

Crits welcome on all of the above weapons, and I would like someone to just have a look at my rotary weapons on page 20 to see if you think they are slightly plausible.

Love the grenade launcher - so sleek-looking. Do you have the code for it?
