Ya' know, I for some reason have to say I actually like this. A bit simplistic, yes, but alas sometimes simplicity is a good thing IMO.TheRightToArmBears said:Kinda bland assault rifle. Damn laptop touchpad is so annoying for placing things!
you know...i just got homefront :3WanderingFool said:Well, good to see this thread isnt completely dead. Some new things.
The PWS Diablo SMG
Love this thing.
Also,
I got the idea from the XM-10 in Homefront, probably going to do more with it later.
Nah, hold the grip with your left/right hand and trigger the gun and stabilize it with your left/rightCauseImAwesome said:I believe i have won the impracticality contest with one simple flaw in my gun. It is a grenade lauuncher minigun but the flaw is that you would need fingers about 12inches long to be able to hold the gun and pull the trigger at the same time. I have concluded that loadsof guns on top of eachother anren't impractical just ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! So simplicity is key

Seems a bit flimsy, but for a first time, not bad. I like the Pistol grip.DanielPowell33 said:Here's my first bullpup gun.

Also, anyone else having problems with photobucket, it won't let me upload things?
I love it! It's got a great design that manages to look practical and visually striking at the same time. The in depth explanation is great too!WanderingFool said:Seems a bit flimsy, but for a first time, not bad. I like the Pistol grip.DanielPowell33 said:Here's my first bullpup gun.

Here is something that I started about three weeks ago, and just tonight got to finishing it... well, after I did finish it, I decided I didnt quite like it, so I am planning a redesign of some parts.
It uses the same principle as the plasma rifle, in that it creates energy packets to store the plasma, than propels them through a series of pulse projectors (the plasma rifle is another idea for another time). But while the plasma rifle uses plasma for the ammunition, the pulse rifle uses small 6mm synthetic metallic alloy (SMA) pellet. The energy packet is needed for the projectile to be propelled by the pulse projectors. So effectively, the pulse projectors act like the gunpowder and the projectile as the bullet.
It is loaded bullpup style using a cylindrical magazine that stores about 120 rounds; the charging handle on the gun is used to prime the feed mechanism that loads the rounds into the firing chamber. The pulse projector and energy packets are powered by a rechargeable battery located under the barrel of the rifle (the front hand grip must be removed to do this), and can either fire up to 1200 rounds or last around 24 hours. The magazine has a red clip on the back that is used to tell the gun when it is out of ammo. The lights in front of the charging handle will be blue when a magazine is in and has rounds still. It will turn red when either the mag is empty or the magazine is ejected.
One of the true beauties of this rifle is that its basically mirrored on both sides, and with not bullet casings being ejected, is perfect for wither left or right handed soldiers.
Let me know what you think of it...
Both of those look really good actually, nice job!WanderingFool said:Well, if that the case, might as well get it out of my system now...
My hideous attempt at the T3AK from Homefront. For comparison, this is what its suppose to look like...
I added a custom Red-dot, got the idea from a game but cant remember which, I think Killzone 2.
Here is the red dot plus another custom one from homefront.
And I said previously I didnt like the way my pulse rifle came out, so I did a bit of remodeling.
as always crits are welcomed.
