About the grenade launcher being right behind the bipod legs...

Im actually surprised by the amount of quotes my gun is getting xD
And the grenade flies between the bipod legs! it doesnt hit them!

Does this sound like something that "might" work, or maybe something a weapon designer might reconsider as too much risk?

I don't see why it wouldn't work. The barrel of the GL is, lets say, 50mm, or two inches, across to acount for the grenade and the launcher. The legs of a bipod ought not be closer together than five or six inches considering the length of a rifle.

My vote is that it would work.

Very well, my vote maintains that the shell would hit your own weapon, blowing yourself sky high. Looking at the picture specifically, it is notable that the upper portion of the grenade barrel overlaps with the leg folding point where the two legs come together and there is no space for a shell to pass.

EVEN THEN... it remains inadvisable to place potential obstructions in front of your projectiles unless, of course, those obstructions are the bodies of your enemies.

That's much better. The gun is a little bulkier now, and I think that's an improvement.

Just so you know, in case you ever decide to make a sequal to this gun or something, a PMAG loading up into the gun would have also worked.

Problem solved.

I used Gondito's design, and mine allows space for the grenade. The legs separate at the top, so you can't hit the space-taking folding point.

I wouldn't use something like this, but it would work.

That's much better. The gun is a little bulkier now, and I think that's an improvement.

Just so you know, in case you ever decide to make a sequal to this gun or something, a PMAG loading up into the gun would have also worked.

HOW DO YOU GET YOUR GUN ON HERE??

1. Save your gun as a JPEG from PMG.
2. Get a Photobucket/ImageShack/etc account. It's free just do it.
3. Upload the image, and then get the image code from the listing where you picture is.
4. Post it here using "[ img][ /img]" tags without the spaces.

Yup, just where it was orginally. Nothing wrong with the top-loading, but if you decide you don't like it you have options.

Yeah it'd be a small space for your hand, I know. Don't wear gloves :0

Well I have a personal preference for the toploading but other people might find it awkward to reload that way. So, we now have the easy switch option! Switch out the bolt assembly and plug the top, now you can use a standard 30round PMAG that feeds from the bottom and ejects from the same port ^.^

It's on top of the stock. See the little area where it is indented? That is the ejection port.
