So these people are more willing to spend more avoiding having to pay for what they want (what a shocking concept!) than pay less just buying the content legititmately?
It's about freedom..... to steal media..

That sounded strangely disturbing.

Rarely do movies actually further thought, books yes..but there aren't many instances of people jumping on a torrent to download the latest book.
If you raise the bar high enough the movies you find, and even those video games with a well written story and a statisfying gameplay are food for though. Well, honestly, that's my reason anyway, most of the latest stuff I have no interest in.

Ebooks are just starting, when that picks up the book industry is sure to ***** at least as hard as the music one did.

I'm torn. On the one hand, I hate pirates. On the other hand, I love airships. A lot. Like, more than my own limbs.

Pirates? I'll make you a deal. You make airships cool again for the mass public IRL, and I'll stop wishing bad things on you. But if you go the satellite route, then you suck and I hope it gets hit by space debris. ANd if this is just posturing, then you super-suck.
