Thou hast been suckered, me boy, or your pursuit of economics has been entirely to exploit it dishonestly. Either way, you won't be the first and you won't be the last. No sale.Cowabungaa said:Snip

Considering the utter lack of support for your argument in any of your posts I reckon the tables are turned. "Crypto-currencies are fake and a scam!" "Governments and traders around the globe beg to differ." "No they're fake!" That's all you've done. Your argument is non-existent. Move along sir.FalloutJack said:Thou hast been suckered, me boy, or your pursuit of economics has been entirely to exploit it dishonestly. You haven't said anything convincing from point one. Mere pacts of dishonesty. Oh look! Bitcoins at a casino! That's above board! A joke. I'm not responsible for people's gullibility.Cowabungaa said:Considering the utter lack of support for your argument in any of your posts I reckon the tables are turned. I don't give a shit how convincing you think they are. What I care about is that I supported my claims with facts. You've just ignored those facts when I gave them. But here they are again. Governments recognise them as currency and sometimes already regulate bitcoins, either under existing monetary laws or under new laws or are working on regulations. They're not fake. They're not 'Monopoly money.' Your claim holds no water. You've given zero support for it. Hell, you still don't. All you're doing now is going "No, you!"FalloutJack said:You haven't said anything convincing from point one.
Oh, hush with your wild accusations and insults. I'm not interested in your pitch. Against the rules to be selling me stuff here, anyway.Cowabungaa said:Snip
Oh yes, I'm making such 'wild accusations' that they're discussed in the European Parliament. [http://www.europarl.europa.eu/sides/getDoc.do?pubRef=-//EP//TEXT+CRE+20160525+ITEM-024+DOC+XML+V0//EN&language=en&query=INTERV&detail=1-340-000] Once more, no support for your claim and ignoring the support I'm giving. You still haven't got a leg to stand on regarding the claim that bitcoin is fake. You're clearly unable or unwilling to have a rational discussion. Apparently pointing out that an argument is hollow and empty is an insult now. My, what the world is coming to.FalloutJack said:Oh, hush with your wild accusations and insults. A salesman will do anything to convince you he's right, but the math doesn't lie. Good day.Cowabungaa said:Snip
What?! Why are Bitcoins worth so much?! Stupid Fiat Currencies, they make no sense...Vanilla ISIS said:In 2012, a Bitcoin was worth $15, now it's worth $1700.FalloutJack said:Must be a publicity stunt. I mean, come on. Bitcoin? Why not ask for Monopoly money? It amounts to the same thing.
Which version of Monopoly are you playing?
Also, Bitcoins are harder to trace, taking a ransom in traditional currency would get the hackers caught for sure.
