Pixar's worst movie

Well of their movies I'd say I'm torn between Cars and Finding Nemo. I actually didn't hate Cars that much when I saw it but I do think they have been advertising Mater a bit too much with all his animated shorts, but nothing to the extent of what Dreamworks did with the Penguins of Madagascar. I think that I'll go with Finding Nemo because while it wasn't a bad film, I was forced to watch it like three times when I was young and got sick of it watching it...to the point where I actually like Shark Tale better than it.

Although, pretty much every film that Pixar makes is better than half of the movies that Dreamworks makes. I mean the only films that were really good that were made by Dreamworks were Shrek 1 and 2, Shark Tale, Kung Fu Panda, How to Train Your Dragon and Madagascar to a lesser extent. So I have to give Pixar credit for making consistently well made films.

because i hated how screwed up their veiws on time travle works.

but if that is dreamworks then i say "the incredibles".
i really only liked the first robot fight scene.
Meet the Robinsons was made by Walt Disney without the help of Pixar. I only know this after I searched for it on Wikipedia just now because I never saw the movie myself.

with the reminder that pixar will soon be releasing it's worst picture, Cars 2...
If it isn't out yet, how do you know how good or bad it is?
For me, it would have to be Toy Story 2. I remember being extremely underwhelmed by it, with forced dialog and a really stupid plot. I haven't seen it since I was 10, so I might be missing some details or have forgotten some other things, but I clearly remember walking out of the theater disappointed, which has never happened with one of their movies before.

A Bug's Life would take that title for me. A lot of people argue against Cars, and while it wasn't plotted as well as the other Pixar films, it did have a certain amount of detail that only automotive enthusiasts, especially NASCAR fans, would pick up on. The Hudson Hornet was a real-life NASCAR racing automobile that did win three times in a row. The town's founder was a model of steam-driven car from the 1920s. There are cameos from Dale Earnhardt Jr. and (in the British release) Jeremy Clarkson. All of the racing car noises were recorded to sound legitimate. It's probably the most authentic (if not realistic) car movie that isn't Le Mans or Grand Prix.
You've pretty much nutshelled why most people seem to be voting for cars. Pixar movies tend to have things that appeal to children and appeal to adults. In this case, they appealed to adults with all the racing minutia. It works if you're a NASCAR fan. If you aren't, you're left out in the cold.

I'm going to go with Wall-E. Maybe it was because I bought the movie because of the hype and history of Pixar before renting, but I just didn't find anything likable about the movie. The characters were one-dimensional as were their motivations. There was no sense of internal conflict, nor severe repercussions for failure.

I'd like to say that it was because I can't get attached to a robot, but then I remember I fucking LOVED Data in Star Trek, and R2-D2 and C3PO have a deeper place in my heart. Wall-E just felt like a robot to me. Granted, it was a little sad seeing him lonely as he was, but the moment he came in contact with Eve, that's all he cared about. Never mind the fact that he ended up with a ton of other robots and instantly became a celebrity among the humans, he only wanted to chase Eve for some unexplainable reason beyond being lonely. Maybe he was just malfunctioning.

Anyway, I'm not saying all this to start an argument about the plot in Wall-E as much as I'm just trying to explain rationally why I didn't find it likable while everyone else did. I would willingly throw Cars under the bus too (C wut I did thar?), but I did at least get some goofy adult humor in there with the fangirls flashing their headlights at Lightning McQueen.

And screw you all you Incredibles haters. That movie is awesome! I'd go into why I think so, but this post is long enough with my Wall-E rant.

Really didn't like Cars, couldn't stand that movie for some reason...

My second choice would probaly be Monster Inc but it's still way above cars in my most hated Moive list.

Toy story 1,2&3 were my childhood when the first one relesaed and 3 makes me cry at the end every time, a bugs life was fun to me, i liked the circus, monsters inc. almsot made me cry and was a very original concept, plus i love steve buschemi, finding nemo was a good story, ratatouille had the cooking angle, which i like to cook so you got me there, and Up was just a good yet sad story that i enjoyed immensly, they all were simply amazing with no flaws and i can and have watched them multiple times.

the incredibles was boring and being a superhero fan, thought it was lame, even sammy jackson couldnt save it for me, cars was boring, and Wall-e was just plain stupid, i didnt like any single thing about it, they were my least favorite, ive seen them all once but they did not spark that feeling of involvement in the characters or make me laugh or even, dare i say it, cry. They were just dissapointments for many reasons. Still love pixar.

will nvr see cars 2 tho, sounds awful.

just to be sure that we are talking about the same film:
"meet the robisons": new animated film about a boy genius who gets to travel to the future by way of some random kid from the future (later turns out to be the smart kids future son) that goes back to fix an error he made in his time.

"swiss family robinson": old live action film about a family that gets stranded on an unmarked island and survives via making a house and gadgets that were so advanced given the materials avalable they must have been made by using blue prints writen by "the professor" from the sitcom "gilligans island".

i only ask because you said the film was made by walt disney--who is dead--and not the disney corporation. if you had said the latter i would not have responded, but since you said the first i just wanted to double check.

Up was the worst for me. It was so depressing that I just refuse to watch it again, and near the middle acts gets extremely boring.

Not to sound like a broken record but I'm going to go ahead and go with Cars, it just was no where near as good as anything else they've made.

I thought Dreamworks made Cars, it was so... not necessarily bad, but not good. When I found out it was Pixar I was quite surprised. So for me, it would be Cars.

Mine probably has to be Wall-E. I didn't have any initiative to see it because it just looked pretty boring.

Didn't like Cars, but my nephew really killed it for me. Had an obsession with it. Still totally blew most other kids movies that weren't Pixar from the last few years out of the water though.

...I love every other Pixar movie. So much.
