The game plays like Teamfortress 2 or any other FPS but involves as much as 200-300 players at a time. Battles can range from small "spec ops" elite squads running together to gigantic battles with people running around everywhere. Planetside is known to be one of the few games out there where skill and tactics play a tremendous roll on the outcome.
