Playing Right After Buying

I've got one or two games i bought in a closing down sale (90% off!) that i still haven't got around to playing. Namely, Kane and Lynch, Guitar hero aerosmith, PGR4 and Brothers in arms:HH.
Mostly due to my hectic schedule, but also because i have better games to play.

I was playing The Witcher like 5 hours straight, was awesome (got it for Christmas, last year...). But I wanted to wait till I get a better pc and few patches get released.
Frankly, I have not touched it for over a year. I'm going to, as soon as I finish Mirror's Edge (IF I finish it... it keeps hanging up), Psychonauts and X-Men Legends 2.

I got Baldur's gat II and Neverwinter Nights for the PC which I haven't played yet.

I bought legend of zelda majora mask on the day it came out the N64. To this day I haven't played it. I'm a huge huge zelda fan, I've played pretty much all of them except for the non nintendo released games. But I have played it on the collector disc. But still that way years later. I dunno alot of my friends are gamers and we all tend to buy games and wait a week or more to play it. Its not that we dont care for them its just we end up getting caught up doing different things. I do the same with movies.
I usually play things straight away unless I buy multiple games at once. I still haven't played Dead Space because I bought it at the same time I got Fallout 3 and Saint's Row 2, which is all I've been playing (aside from occasionally Halo 3 multiplayer) for the past 3 months.
I always play a game as soon as I buy it. I usually head straight home from the game store after buying a new game to play it.
I used to get really really excited when I was younger and could rarely afford games. Now it's not really like that, it doesn't bother me so much if I don't play it straight away, I still am like YAY NEW GAME :33333 but not like to the point where i'll go home straight away and ignore other plans to play. Although I did ignore plans for FF9 once haha.
I got Soul Calibur 4 yesterday and have been home for an hour and its still in the bag. I bought Disgaea (ps2) a month ago and haven't played it at all yet.

I barely ever play games right after the purchase. They just go on the pile and it can take a very long time to get round to playing them. Sometimes I'll even sell them without having ever playing them if I'm not interested any more.
I usually play a game right after buying for the very good reason of I want to make sure the damn thing works.
Too many times have I bought a game from my local video shop and had to walk right back in because they gave me a bad copy (I had to do this 5 times to finally get a working version of CoD4).

Well, when I buy more than one game at a time, I have to wait to play some. I bought Resistance: Fall of Man, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, and Battlefield: Bad Company all at the same time.
I do it all the time. I preorder a game get really excited wait all day for the phone call telling me to come get it. Race up to the store and run home and play something else. Pisses my fiance off to no end. Mainly cuz I don't shut up about it for a week before
