Damn had to choose a date smack bang in the middle of when I'm in America training to be a astronaut, it's gonna be great! But not gonna be able t come here... damn.

If anyone wants to take over and organise this, they can. But I thought whilst people are talking about it and keen to get involved, we'd better get started with it.

So, we've pretty much decided on London, as most people can get there. For those of you flying in, which airport would you get into? And anyone coming in by train, which station does the train stop at?

Possibly meeting at King's Cross Station, is that okay with everyone?

Secondly, what do people want to do? Bowling? Erm... can't think of any ideas, so open to all suggestions.

Escapism Sydney did lazertag, bowling and an arcade. Anyone want us to do the same?

We've got several under 18's coming, so it won't be a pub or anything

Next, dates. I'm suggesting 18th July, then all the exams are definitely out of the way. Also gives us plenty of time to organise. Any problems with that, and we can change it.

Please send me a message if you intend to come, if you find out you can't make it fine but we need to look at numbers. (And I'm getting slightly OCD about this, PLEASE send a message if you're coming.)

Well if you're getting a cross-country train, pick one that passes through Coventry to Kings Cross, that way a couple of us will join you on the train.

I'm looking at train, flight, and bus times and frankly it looks as though the cheapest thing to do if we're in Scotland would actually be to Megabus it down the day before (~£10 if booked now) and then stay overnight in a cheap hotel. Dunno what people's thoughts are on that?

£10 that's great, how long will it take though? I'm fine with a cheap hotel.
