I'm looking at train, flight, and bus times and frankly it looks as though the cheapest thing to do if we're in Scotland would actually be to Megabus it down the day before (~£10 if booked now) and then stay overnight in a cheap hotel (found one at ~£18 per person night about 700m from Kings Cross). Dunno what people's thoughts are on that?
Hmm... That way we could all get an early start! I'm in.

I was looking into that. The one at the top of this list [http://reserve.discounthotels.co.uk/index.jsp?pageName=hotSearch&cid=100556&validateCity=true&avail=true&passThrough=true&passThrough2=true&isHotels=true&isCondos=tue&showCondos=true&showHotels=true&mode=2&netOnly=false&firstSearch=true&isAdvancedSearch=false&specials=false&showPopUp=true&city=London&stateProvince=&country=GB&temp1=bvoqf0qgd6ica51p1p0qp99ol0&temp2=129.215.5.138&arrivalMonth=6&arrivalDay=17&departureMonth=6&departureDay=18&depYear=&numberOfRooms=1&room-0-adult-total=4&room-0-child-total=0&currencyCode=GBP&locale=en_GB&sortMethod=3&search_x=72&search_y=10&submitted=true] is probably an alright choice for a night or two.
How many nights would we be staying? Friday and Saturday? Those of us travelling could make a weekend of it, since it's a trip and all.

£10 that's great, how long will it take though? I'm fine with a cheap hotel.
Er...a while - looking at most of the day travelling here. £10 was the price from Perth, from Edinburgh it's saying £14.50 and taking from 1100 til 2025. Alternatively, there's an overnighter for £7.00 which leaves at 22.30 on the 17th and arrives at 0730 on the 18th, which would save us the cost of a hotel if you don't mind sleeping on a bus.
Thats probably best, cause ive got hockey training on the Friday night so I could go and still make the bus.

Can we clear up the minimum age limit please.
Well obviously those underage will have to have their parent's consent, but other than that I think it's fine for anyone to come, I think it's likely we'll be going bowling or something like that.

Seems okay lack of pictures is just worrying me... "no pics no proof" etc.

I can almost definately come, I'm not too far away.

I am under 18 but look older, so I'll go to the pub but I'll sit in a corner ;)

Bear in mind, I'm not even 100% I can make it at this point. It depends on whether or not I can get a summer job to pay for it and then on if I can get time off that job to get there. I'm happy to make suggestions, but it might be best if the Scots work out the arrangements and then I'll let you know if I can join you all. If I can make it, I like the sound of the overnighter as well though.
I'm in the same boat as well, just organising everything short of actually paying for it.

Ago Iterum and Blackcherry are organising people meeting up in the SouthWest and Midlands respectively. D.C. wants someone to send them a message once a date has been confirmed. I'm now only going to add to the list of people who are going. Have fun, y'all!
You're still gonna come though, right?!

Well can a 14 year old come?
Yeah, but the rest of us will be on average 18, so it's their choice. I'd be worried about a 14 year old travelling alone however...
