other then that... I dont know. I'm definately getting the more foresty themed one, but thats about it. I'm sure I'll enjoy it, and if none of the new pokemon interest me to add as permanent roster members, the new abilities that pokemon get will be more then enough to make up for it. I mean seriously. Vaporeon, with Hydration? Blaziken, with Speed Boost? its a great day in the world of competitive pokemon battling.

You realize this isn't coming out for the 3DS right? It's for the regular 'ole DS

Why did that Tepig use a fire attack on Gigalith? A psychic attack from munna would've done more damage and still have gotten stab bonus.

I am super exicted over black and white I am totally looking forward to the 3D graphics and thr dream world I have been saying they should do some kind of use of the internet I mean look at all those "fan" MMOs out there DW wasnt what I was thinking they would do but its still awesome (expt the 1 hour a day limit)

my only 2 complaints are the 3 on 3 battles and that they didn't hold it back and make it for the 3DS

OMG! Pokémon actually moving when they fight?! Madness! I couldn't really tell but I hope they finally change the calls to something other than the same beepy-boopy-GBC-esque sounds they've been using since, well, forever. It'll still probably be "meh" for anyone who's played another Pookeymans game or is above 14 but maybe it'll at least have battles that are more exciting than watching paint dry.

are you talking about the championships? they have those every year. You can now battle random players over wifi now. No need for friend codes.

I wish that they would actually add more gameplay variety to this series, but they really have no reason to. I'm just getting sick of the same old formula; maybe they could add a better story, or some alternate gameplay modes that involve the trainers rather than the Pokemon? I don't know what exactly they could add, but I'd like it if they did.

these games are super story intensive if previews from various websites are to be believed. You apparently run into the main bad guys and both your rivals at almost every new town you come across.

Having seen videos, the story is a bit better IMO. However, the stats for the starters are horrid, I'm really considering on not keeping them around, maybe except for Tepig, since his last evolution (Fire/Fighting) makes him a bit better.

There have been bad names since the first generation, just like there have been bad designs since the first generation. The crowd of people claiming that the new monsters/names are terrible compared to the old games each time a new game comes out is really getting old now.

It will be a letdown unless they change the way pokemon actually fight each other in groups ya know like real rpgs groups fight? With 2 on 2 it was easy to notice that nothing was really designed to make the 2 on 2 fight interesting in fact it was barely used at all like it was some sort of gimick.

This trailor is literally the coolest part of that game. The 3D enviroment will be plenty used and it will look good but that's not adding anything the game will still be very shallow. Very messy. and honestly with the adition of 3d graphics it will not look very good(3d and nintendo handhelds just don't work). You might like it but i'd like a real change that it's a little more than skin deep. Or at least attack and receive damage animations for the characters battle scenes I mean come on how hard is that?

From what i have heard Snivy dosn't sound so bad, he gets Leaf Storm and an abilty that reverses stat changes so he can just spam one of the highest powered grass moves and get stronger while doing so.

I'm still not too fond of the whole 3D thing. I guess I'll just wait for reviews and reactions from the community before making my decision whether I'll buy it or not.

It makes the whole game feel different, save your nostaliga and skip this one.

OT:There was only one thing I liked about this game and that was Buffolon.

I hope so. But, of course, quantity doesn't necessarily mean quality. It'd be really cool if the new games' narrative would have some sort of substance, rather than just the typical "We-are-bad-so-let's-have-Pokemon-battles" stuff from past entries.

Hmm, looks interesting. The fact that Pokemon hasn't changed much since it was first released is actually a selling point to me, so I'm not sure how I'm feeling about the changes. Still, it looks like they kept alot of the old and just made it better, and I know I'm getting Black when I can.

I don't know which pokemon I'm gonna fall in love with, considering there are so many from the other regions. They're gonna have to work hard, though, to beat my love of Shinx/Luxio/Luxray. I mean, he's a Lighting Lion for pete's sake! They'd probably have to make a more liony lion (with a better mane) for me to find anything as awesome .
