Noticed a lack of Cubone in your party... You have a good team.

Try the pokemon user group for more help.

Nice setup. Although you have no serious defence against water types, which is my preferred element, so I'd get on to that. My Kingdra would blow every single pokemon off your party (sans Feraligatr) in one turn.

Oh, also remember to try out different strategies and remember S.T.At. bonuses. You seem to have a very clustrfuck-y moveset.

That's my advice to you.

He has one STAB move apiece. That's the important part. Any more and you're just losing your type spread coverage.

Haha, Marowack was actually my main pokemon on yellow when I was a kid, along with Sandslash and Machamp, all level 100. :)

Thanks, I've been meaning to swap Metagross for a grass pokemon but can't find one that I like. :S

If it can learn Grass Knot, then use that. Other than that...Good.

Bah, the trick is in the distribution of types. I like to strategise and using STABs makes it one hell of a lot easier.

I tend to win most of the matches I play because of it, actually.

You can tell a lot about a person through their pokemon. Type-spread movesets generally represent insecurity, and your opponent can take advantage of that.

Marowack was too angsty for me. I liked Machamp because of the wrestling belt he wore.

Watch out for Mewtwo or you'll be kissing your Metacross goodbye.

Yeah, but people who use legendaries in their team are cheaters. Especially ones with Mewtwo.

I have never played Soul Silver before, are you able to get all the pokemon from the previous games in that game?

Hmm, grass pokemon I usually avoid. There are too many types that can exploit it. My advice would be to go for a Lantern, as its typeset is epic and it can wipe the floor with pretty much every type there is (sans dark, dragon and grass). It'd make a great balance to your team.

And don't skimp out on Ice moves. Teach it Ice beam and you're set.

C'mon you don't really think that do you? If nintendo didn't want people cheating they'd get rid of legendaries. BTW all the newer ones suck.
Except for Palkia aka Godzilla.

No I don't think that about all legendaries. But Mewtwo has something like 200 base special attack, so unless you have a high special defense you have no chance.

Is Lantern the electric fish? I had one when I played through the original silver, I might give that a go thanks.

Nah, most smart trainers always set prerequisites before a battle, the most common being 'no Ubers'. You see, pokemon are given tiers and all Legendaries + Wobbuffet are Ubers because their stats/movesets are unfair against every other pokemon.

Your attacks are mostly physical. You'll definately run into physical walls in online battling. I suggest changing some of arcanines attacks to special moves like flamethrower.

That's the one.

I'd also heartily recommend Flygon, but you'll have to replace another, similar one. Probably your Feraligatr. But it's your party and your strategy so alter as you see fit.

Oh, and check this out:

It's like the Hitchhiker's Guide to Pokemon. Never train without it, and Don't Panic.

Yeah, I have a flygon on diamond which I migrated from ruby, so it can easily be traded. Thanks for the link.
