Well, from my point of view, the 360 is a fairly good console so long as you can take care of it (Don't stand it upright, keep it off carpet, and don't put a cookie into the disc tray are the best bits of advice I can give you). The PS3, while having potential, is lackluster when it comes to exclusives, as quite a few big-name exclusives quickly became multiconsole. The PS3, however, functions also as a blu-ray player and, to my knowledge, is cheaper than most blu-ray players, in case you're interseted in that sort of thing. The Wii's controls, while interesting and innovative, swiftly lead to aching arms such as in Red Steel or CoD 3 in which you must point directly at the screen at all time. However, the Wii has the strongest catolog of older games with the Wii marketplace selling damn-near every game to come out for a Nintendo console and even a few Genisis titles. Technically, the 360 is the cheapest with the crappy Arcade package, even though the Pro package would be better with HD cables, a remote, a hard drive, a LIVE headset and more free Xbox LIVE time than the Arcade. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the online functions of each. 360's Xbox LIVE is definetly the strongest in my humble opinion because a)Noone seems to be online in Playstation Network, so you have movie renting, a service provided by Xbox LIVE, and a Second Life knockoff, and b)There is only one game in the Wii's game library with voice capabilities, and all that freind code stuff means you can only play with freinds and people you meet on forums giving you their freind codes. That is, however, one man's opinion
