OP, it sounds like you want this to happen by the way you defend the existence of overpopulation as a real threat to the human race at every turn. Overpopulation is only an issue when the government does not properly take advantage of land. With the proper planning you could fit the population of China or India in a much smaller area.

It is a real threat, though. Regardless of what could be done, the thing is that things aren't being done. You'd have to get China and India to agree to something this drastic; try getting a neo-communist country to agree to follow your bidding. I'm not saying that overpopulation is death incarnate, but nobody's dealing with it, so it soon will be.

I'm not going to persuade anyone to do anything, I'm not going to get anybody to follow my bidding. I'm simply writing down what I think we would do if overpopulation got to be a really big problem. The reason why nothing is being done is becuase there is no need for anything to be done, and if anything did have to be done and China and India didn't agree, well then we're lucky we don't live there. Instead we live in countries that actually have declining populations. But, even India and China will not get much more over-populated than they are now. You see, as countries become safer, healthier places to live (which India and China will over time, and if China deosn't them I'm sure the 2 child rule will do something) the populace stop having so many children, same thing happened in the west a hundred years ago.

If it came from chimps then how did humans get it? Did some guys and girls get bored one day and decide to have intimate relations with some chimps?

Anyway I don't believe in that theory but if it is true (doubt it) then it is doing a horrible job. In third world countries it is doing a wonderful job of killing people but isn't doing so great elsewhere.

Um. It spreads through BLOOD. And I believe other bodily fluids.

That doesn't always imply sex. People eat monkeys in some places. And some of these "monkeys", so to speak, are also capable of attacking and killing a human being - and to my knowledge, they sometimes do.

So, there's a very good chance of contracting the virus while living in that region without, you know, sex.

I know how it spreads. It was a joke that I heard years ago and haven't been able to use it till now.

The 'legend' is that the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) was developed by the CIA and deployed in sanfransisco as a means to eliminate the homosexuals from the population because, according to the 'legend', they believed only homosexuals would catch it.

Plus as many have said, if you look at the way the HIV virus looks, it looks very much man made, theres also a high volume of articles also theorising on how it couldve originated as being man made.

EDIT: Also it spread via ANY bodily fluid, however it moves a lot more easily via some than others. Blood and sexual fluids being the easiest. Spit is on of the hardest, you'd have to drink gallons of it to get infected.

Whatever, AIDS is the end result. When people talk about Hitler, they generally don't talk about how good of a leader he was, but instead how many people he killed and stuff like that. Anyway, HIV is incurable as well, so you're bound to get AIDS.

Not incurable. Thats like saying malaria is incurable while the drugs are locked away.

Thats all this situation is. There is a cure, it's simply locked in our dna. Incurable means no possible cure exists. A cure does exist, retrocyclin, theres simply a wrench in the inner workings of the dna that produces that particular protien.
