I like Ain't No Rest For The Wicked more. It fits the feel of the games more.
Though Short Change Hero is right, this aint no place for no hero, this is a place is for a badass, 4 badasses to be precise.

None of them!

This is clearly superior.
I would like to change my vote to this.

Not a fan of either.

And Doomsday? WTF? I just listened to that--it's a cover of Michael Jackson. A hard rock cover of MJ. Wow... just wow. Never thought I'd hear the day. Not a fan of that, either. Well... if I got the right video. Heh. No idea.

Edit: okay, so Doomsday is the name of a trailer. Just got that. Despite visiting this site daily, I'm not up to date on video game news. However... I'm not a fan of dubstep, so... I stand by what I said.

Where's my "I dislike all of them" option?
Doomsday is also the name of the song, not just the trailer.

it's ok but i prefer ain't no rest for the wicked it just feels more like Borderlands though we haven't seen the opening credits so maybe this new song might fit still.

Doomsday is (just barely) my favorite song of the three, and Ain't No Rest For the Wicked is certainly the MOST fitting for Borderlands.

That said, I absolutely love all three and think that all three fit certain aspects of the universe really well.

This new song's opening credits could be really good, and at least the lyrics fit the game even if the music doesn't fit as well.

Could only listen to the first 30 seconds of Short Change Hero due to really worthless internet atm, but it didn't convince me much. My vote's on Ain't No Rest for the Wicked.

"Short Change Hero" because Batman, that's why.
But Ain't No Rest For The Wicked does fit Borderlands better... So both? or\and neither?

Ain't No Rest For the Wicked by far.
Always thought it was sweet and it just fit the game so well in my opinion, the other tracks rank somewhere between "Meh" and "Bad" for me, and can't really say how well it's gonna fit the game yet.

I voted Short Change hero. It fits the game's tone so perfectly, and on it's own, it's a brilliant song.

It was close, though. No rest for the wicked fits borderlands amazingly, but as a song, it's just not as technically good as short change hero. Doesn't mean it ain't catchy as all hell, though.

But screw those songs. There is one true series for awesome, related music.

...why would they re-use the same opening song two games in a row? That would just be lazy. I'm sure the sequence they've built around the chorus of Short Change Hero will be just fine. The chorus fits the setting well, same as Ain't No Rest for the Wicked. Use the whole song in either case, and it wouldn't work at all.

The second one had a nice groove going till the vocals started up.

Oh dear lord, what the hell? Is that a guy singing falsetto?

Gimme the first song all day, eryday!

It just fit better with the game and 1 person in particular, T.K Baha.

When you first meet him he is sat on a veranda, like some old western hillbilly ... that song "Ain't no rest for the wicked" just fits that scene!

So this IS the full song? See, I wouldn't know because I couldn't listen to it.

I prefer Ain't No Rest For The Wicked.
It really fits in with the whole Space-Western feeling that Borderlands is trying to give off. Plus it got me interested in more Cage The Elephant songs.

While both of them very much fit the feel of the game they're connected to, on its own I prefer Short Change Hero over No Rest for the Wicked. I'm also not by any means dubstep's biggest fan, so Doomsday is definitely out.

The opening needs to set the mood for the whole game and the new song seems too somber for what we experienced in the first game. Ultimately if the game, or at least the first couple hours or few scenes, are well represented by this song then it's a good choice. As for what do I think the better song is: Ain't no Rest for the Wicked; the whole opening of B1 sits at the top of my favorite game openings.

I definitely dig both tunes. I've never really heard of The Heavy until now, but I'm digging the tune.
I've gotta say Ain't No Rest For The Wicked fits a tad bit better with Borderlands though.
