Poll: Alien vs Predator: who will you be

When you take the new AVP online, who will you play as, Aliens, Predators or Marines. I'd go for Aliens cause they're fucking fast and I'd love to play as one, running through vents and stabbing folk with my little mouth. Who will you be?

Well all but I would play the Marines first. I hate them Humans always being "inferior" when it comes to these kinds of things. Plus I like Pulse Rifles.
Then the perfect killer, the Aliens. Fast, stealthy and deadly. Plus acid blood is cool.
Then last come the Predators. The Predators are my favorite and I always (sometimes) save the best/favorite for last.

Well, I'm not sure of the concept of this one, the AVP game I played on PS2 was like an RTS style game and I loved it to death, playing as the Aliens of course, so if it's like that one definantly Aliens, if it's some generic fps style game, Marines, and if it's a fighting-ish game predators. Aliens are my favorite though in all the movies and games.

I'd have to say predator, because they're like samurai, except their Seppuku is performed with a mini-nuclear device.

I think whoever plays as the predators in a multiplayer match would be the epitome of god damned bats... fucking cloaking shit, and all that blinged out technology. pisses me off.

It's no where near the level of smartgunning marines or runner aliens.

smartgunners and runners maybe fast and cheap but for fucks sake if u cough in their direction they die. all predators are like refrigerators with legs.

In the last version I played, they only had slightly more health than a marine.

Predaliens and Praetorians are much better tanks.

vanguards and SADARS? they way I see it all sides have a balance of annoying characters but marines and aliens are balanced out, predators are rediculous all of them can cloak, all of them can instaheal their wounds wherever. brawlers are the equivalent of runners and smartgunners just suck unless enmass, but the one enemy that makes me absolutely cringe in the game is stalkers. not only can they cloak, their fire is undetected

If the game is any good I will be getting it and playing as a marine first, hopefully the game is as scary as the old ones were.

Well, cloak isn't so bad when you consider that Aliens can see them with or without cloak.

In fact, predators are actually easier to see with their cloak on than without if you are an alien.

only with runners (u almost find no hosts on most levels that provide those), nodes (found only near the nest), praetorians (exceedingly costly to be putting into frontline use), and queens (usually on her fat ass laying eggs)

then the marine's only countermeasure is synthetics and they suck. I can see the reasoning behind people loving predators so much, but without all the tech theyre about onpar with humans in combat ability.

And synthetics tear Predators apart. They are usually more durable and can handle heavier weaponry without losing control of their weapon.

maybe we're referring to different games. The only game I've ever played where aliens, marines, and predators were choices to play as was Alien vs. Predator for the Playstation 2
