I know it is a little early to talk about it, but I enjoyed Alpha Protocol (ahhh the end of the world), and would play a sequel. What it would be about, I have no idea. But I think if the game mechanics were just fixed up, then it would be a great game. The story was great, and there where many awesome choices. For example,
[spoiler/]You need to either save one of your potential love interests or save all the people in a rome museum.[/spoiler]

And if they made a sequel, they could do what Mass Effect 2 did, and let you import your choices from the first game into the second.

1. If you want a sequel, tell me what they should do and why you liked the last game
2.If you don't, and you have actually played the game, say why.

If you want to say some of your choices in the game, that would be ok.

EDIT: How dose the title Beta Protocol feel to you? (lol)

Don't bump your own threads please.

OT: I haven't played the first one yet, so I wouldn't play the second one. Yet. I'll have to see how much I like the first one before answering properly.

I'd play it. Alpha Protocol is good times, but most people just can't look past the minor annoyances to see that

amen to that brother (lol)

I mean you KNOW a game is good when you can take down an entire army with your fists.

Sorry, it's just hard to get people opinions without doing that.

Not really. You waited 5 minutes. If you are going to bump it up, you need to wait at least 24 hours.

If they learnt their lesson, sure.

What lesson? Stay focused, design all elements of the game to be fun, not just turning invisible and chocking dudes and the dialog, though, those parts were great.

If they can fix the problems of the first game... Then heck yeah I'll play it... The premise was a fairly good one...

I really enjoyed the first one and wasn't turned off by the bugs, I rarely saw any bugs at all to be honest. It was great fun, the characters were great and the choices, well, they actually felt like real choices. You can choose to do your job but maybe more people will die or save the people, fail at your job, and maybe cause even more people to die down the line. Or save an innocent you care about or save a lot of people. The choices impact the game, they get mentioned later in dialogue, and you have to make them under pressure like you would if you were a spy in that situation. It doesn't always work, the game play can be tough, sometimes unforgiving and brutal, but it was never a turn off.

Better graphics would be nice but they're not essential when the characters are so very fun. (I really liked SIE, Steven Heck, and Marburg.)

So yeah, I'd play Alpha Protocol 2. But then, I'm an Obsidian fan and never been disappointed by any game of theirs I've played.

Aren't option 1 and 4 the same?

I never played Alpha Protocol, but it looked generic, looked crap, received crap reviews, and so I never played it. Needless to say, I wouldn't be interested in Alpha Protocol 2.

Yea, most people sayed it was bad, but if you can handle the flaws, and act sneaky during gamplay, it can still be a good game.

YEA, HIGH FIVE!

That is basically what I thought of the game, and I was alright with the graphics.

The sad thing is when I played I got Madison and Mina killed...but at least I got with SIE.

5 minutes to bump? Pathetic.

Same situation here as far as the OT is concerned. Frankly I still have a long queue of games to go through before getting to it.

If Sega gives them the chance to - you know - actually fix the game or press the kill switch... well, I still can't answer. From what I understand the game lacks polish due to Sega, but I'll pick it up later on I'm sure.

Till then, I suppose... maybe?

Only if they work damn hard to fix all the crippling bugs and gameplay issues. And if they made Thornton less of a ponce.
