WoW is a great game, it really is. The only problem is if you let yourself slip once, you're lost in it.

The stories of people quitting many times? They're all true. The new expansions, new content patches.. Hell, the rumors of the next expansion have got me wanting to play again, and I've been WoW free since yesterday afternoon :p

There are currently 5,000,000 subscribers in World of Warcraft (which may go back to 11,000,000 now China has sorted itself out).
In contrast, there are over 7,000,000,000 people alive on the planet Earth.

Therefore I think it's a safe bet that no, you are not the only one who doesn't play WoW, you are one of 6,995,000,000 or 6,989,000,000 people who do not play WoW.

My cousin got me into it for like two months... and after that it was just plain boring. Also City of Heroes is much a better MMO by FAR. I played City of Heroes for like two years... WoW for two months... but MMO's in general are bothersome. NEVER AGAIN.

Of course you are not alone.
I once tried the trial, and wasn't impressed. But I can't say it was a bad game, many people enjoy it. Just not my cup of tea, so to speak.

No, it never really grabbed me, and im a guy who likes my rpgs. As a game, i dont think its great, as a social networking site its fantastic. should be renamed WoWbook, or MyWoW.

I read a motivator somewhere:

WoW, 15$ a month is a small price to pay for abstinence..

Forget the rest of the population, we're going to have 11.5 million people that won't procreate..

Of course you're not.

Ask a silly question, get a candid straight answer.

I don't play WoW, and to be honest I never really understood the appeal.

Apart from being the most successful MMO in terms of sale and market share their are many other ones that are 'technologically' better and easier to level up in.

Furthermore I don't like the idea of playing for long periods of time in order to stand a chance agianst other players in PvP and nor do I like the idea of subscription fees. Which is why the only MMO I play is Guild Wars; as its a one off payment so I can stop playing it without worrying about wasting a months subscription, and the max level is 20 so strategy plays a more important role in game play.

HAAAAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I'm... I'm sorry, but I have to laugh. You just asked this on one of the most anti-WoW sites I've ever seen :D

I'm a former player, but I quit in preperation for The Old Republic. And trust me, most gamers on here don't play WoW (or don't play it anymore).
