I would buy a DVD if it contained more than just opening cutscenes. So theres 1 hour of commentary instead of 5 minutes for every game.

I'd buy that.
Yeah, this. I could just watch all of their current videos online. But if they made one of every cutscene in a game, I would definitely buy it as long as it was a game that I liked... or at least knew of.

No movie is ever good enough to "purchase" =]
That is very sad thinking.
There are lots of great movies, but you know, I prefer the swashbuckling type, if you know what I mean.
I really only watch a movie once or twice, so there's no reason to have a physical copy of it.

Why would I? All the content is freely available on this site. And before you say "But what if you want it on your TV?", my monitor IS my TV.

Probably not, no. A collection of 5ish minute internet videos does not make a good DVD release.
...RVB

Na unskippable isn't that great watching. People would only buy it out of loyalty to Escapist.
A similar argument to the aforementioned counter Robot Chicken--Red vs Blue tells a comprehensive story, and therefore is progressive, promoting a definite trend for the series, and decisive buyability. As a web series, it has the ability to be short yet powerful, giving us something we consistently care about. Unskippable is unrelated episode to episode, and has to stay that way due to how the show is made. Web series like The Guild, Red vs Blue, etc can thrive that the episodes are frequent, to maintain the low budget and consistency of the show, as long as it flows.

Unskippable is too much like a web-series for me to purchase it. The only things from The Escapist that I would buy on DVD are There Will be Brawl and Doomsday Arcade. Those have either a movie or tv show feel to them.
Same here or maybe if they had extended scenes for all the Unskippable scene's they poked fun at.

Unskipable already has a movie and its called MST3K The movie!

But in reality if they made a actual full length DVD with 90 or so minutes of OC. I would be pleased.

Pretty much this. I hate to say it, but it's just not cut out for a DVD release. It's amazing on the internet, though. :D
