OT: Death Note's pretty good, though not exactly my speed. Bleach was EXTREMELY good before it developed "FILLER ARC OF DEATH!!!!" syndrome (I've never been able to watch the entire Bount arc. I just don't care at this point.). Big O remains one of my favorite giant robot anime, a close second behind Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. The early (like very early) episodes of Inu-Yasha showed lots of promise and then failed to deliver, quickly devolving into "Monster of the Week" episodes. Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood looks good (following the manga=good in my eyes, though artistic license does have it's place).

And now for something completely different: manga that should be made into good anime. Mahou Sensei Negima is definitely first on this list, followed closely by Hayate the Combat Butler. Shaman King and Fairy Tail are also very high. And that's all I can think of off the top of my head, though Kandachime might make a good one if it's handled correctly.

Yeah, I have difficulties with making up my mind.

Considering the diversity of anime, the poll is quite irrelevant. I chose Bleach but my all time favorite anime is Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro. Or Monster.

EDIT: Disregard that, I had forgotten about Gurren Lagann.

Yay Haruhi! If only season 2 wasn't so terrible...

It was kinda smart that they dragged it out. The last episode of Endless Eight wouldn't have had nearly as much impact if we weren't tired of the looping. We'd think Kyon was overreacting, what with the epic music and all. It's just unfortunate that it took so much time from what they could have done.

From the top of my head I can name 15 anime that are twenty lightyears better...
If you combine all the ridiculous filler episodes from both you can have 20 seasons of pure nonsense with absolutely no connection to the actual storyline; wheeee!
