I suppose I would say The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, but I think a huge part of that is that I have read all nine books. Truly marvelous literature with amazing character development.

Tied for second would be Tengo Toppa Gurren Langann, FLCL,Death Note, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Bakemonogatari, can't decide.

Am I seriously the only person who thinks that Neon Genesis Evangelion was the best damn anime ever made?

FLCL and Hellsing (the old one, not the OVA) come in as a close 2nd and 3rd respectively; FLCL was just pure unbridled drug-induced madness (the fun kind), and Hellsing, as stupid as it is, oozes coolness from every pore.

Yes, kind of how I'm the only One Piece fan ever.

yeah right now FMA but i havent seen that many. I made a vow last summer to watch a shitload of anime, but i nearly died in that bount part of bleach, i hated it. but the beginning of bleach was had a lot of potential.

Sure, it used to be a bit of a standard around here and has been slipping lately. It was usually enforced by the community that if you were going to post a large image you should put it in spoiler tags to not clutter up the page. It also seems to make it easier for the page to load and in general is less of an annoyance when spoiler'd.

While I recognize I can't expect everything about ye olde escapist to stay the same, there are at least some things that made sense and didn't really require much work. This was one of them.

No, I don't really find it a stretch. It was just something that we did on a regular basis, spoiler your image, that I found very refreshing about old escapist that we seem to have lost the point of. I thank you for humoring me.
